Best Electric Callboy song? ALL of them! I haven't heard one yet- at least since Nico has been with them, that I didn't love. Also, you're right, they would be fantastic to hang out with. They do vlogs about the making of their videos, they've done reactions to people reacting to their videos, and there are tons of interviews. They did an interview with one guy who had reacted to a couple of their videos- Tank the Tech. They hit it off so well that they hired him to be their USA tour manager. And THAT went so well that on their current European tour, they hired him to fly over to be their European tour manager. According to Tank, they are THE best band he's ever worked for.
True! They had a vlog that bridged We Got The Moves and Pump It. And a recent vlog about their new space really showed the vibe between them, including an hilarious sketch where they were doing a job interview with one of the band members.

They are the one of the truly nicest bands on the planet. You can virtually hang with them on their channel in numerous making of the video, tour vlogs, reaction videos, etc. They appreciate their fans and are humble and truly appreciative of their success. I wish I found them years ago.
Watch their reaction videos to reactions of their videos. The first one I watched had a clip of another musician complimenting Nico's vocals and Nico blushed.
It was absolutely the sweetest thing I've ever seen a musician do. Actually blush for being complimented on their talent. Between that and the interaction between Nico and Kevin, I fell in love with the band that day after falling in love with their music the day before. The vlogs only cemented that.
Watch Tank the Tech's vlogs of their tour. Or Christian's. The fact they allow videos to be recorded whenever tells me they are just a great group of people who aren't faking it for the camera. From the band to their support crew.
Oh, and don't miss Kevin's hairdryers. Gotta love his hairdryers.
They do have serious videos. "Mindreader" is great. But it's not what you'd expect. "F*ckboi" is sans Kevin's rough growls. Which I kinda missed, but still a terrific song. Watch the numerous covers of "Hypa Hypa". Theft are a bunch of videos of other artists covering it under ECB.
Also, all of these guys are so off the chart talented I can't imagine there is a music genre out there they couldn't pull off with either a great degree of success or some degree. I look forward to seeing what they have in store for the next album.
You should definitely check out one of their more serious songs. Hate/Love, Mindreader or Parasite.

I'd say do em ALL but Mindreader is amazing and I feel the story in the song. Takes us back to Crystals. And I loooove that they can absolutely crush both the humor..and the serious

I love them all but I've been listening to Parasite on repeat lately after neglecting it a bit at first. Now it's my favourite track on the Album (which doesn't say much because they're all so close to each other, there isn't one that I don't love lol)
I guess you'll just have to react to all of them eventually ;)
Hate/Love feels like the most pop song of theirs. I love it, but it's the one I wouldn't think was theirs. I prefer Mindreader over Parasite. You can't go wrong with any of the three, though.

I'd say you better prepare yourself, but you can't. It's a homage to a very traditional German pop style, but of course they add a twist to it.

They do have a couple of serious songs. Hate/Love, Mindreader, Parasite and Fckboi. You definitely should react to one/all of those!
Electric Callboy (then called Eskimo Callboy) did have a few straight metal songs, like "Chrystals".
"Chrystals" was with their old singer, Sebastian "Sushi" Beisler. The guitarist Daniel Haniß (HAHN-ish) was in a panda bear suit. Which did fit the color theme of the video!
I haven't seen it confirmed by the band, but it's absolutely likely that Kevin does all the screams at the end, and it's even likely that Nico can do them as well. Yes, the guy with the beautiful vocal run does screams, too 👌 It's hard to tell in the produced tracks because of the layering, but their live videos showcase Nico's clean and harsh vocal abilities much better.
That high scream is called a "pig squeal" and is usually done by breathing in, not out. Voice Actors for monsters use those, too, with and without distortion.

I’ve seen them live and they were epic, best concert I’ve ever been to, the atmosphere and buzz was amazing, nico’s cleans and Kevin’s growls and pig squeals are on point

Interesting that you were talking about official covers/remixes/versions because now that you've seen the original, you've unlocked the entire album of official Hypa Hypa covers they did. My personal favorite (by a pretty wide margin) is the one with Saltatio Mortis.
I've seen the high and low screams done by Kevin live. Nico screams too.
They've got some good earlier stuff too, Crystals, We Are The Mess, Final Dance, Is Anyone Up, MC Thunder, Back In The Biz.

You should really watch the video "Castrop X Spandau" with Kalle Koschinsky , a German influencer(the guy with the blonde hair dancing in the last sequence of "Hypa Hypa") and the "making of" which Kalle shows on his YT-channel. This project startet with the challenge if Electric Callboy could write a song within a day.
So the guys from EC: "....hold my beer !"😎
They wrote and recorded the song with Kalle in one day and did the video the next day.
The lyrics are in German though. Very funny, can't imagine you can keep sitting on that chair even if you don't understand what they're singing😂🎉. Enjoy it !!
I love this. EVERY time I forget the dichotomy of this band and I am so pleased that I do. It makes it more fun!
I will say, the part where they were dancing in the "formation" that reminded you of LMFAO, reminded me SO much of Caramelladansen which just made me CACKLE like a flipping witch!

@@rochandil81 yeah, i commented who they are, but the comment mysteriously disappeared, lol. I mean, some of them are even just friends with EC, been on stage with them, and just part of the team. I hope RUclips didn't think I was promoting people, because I just listed who they are, and the Electric Callboy videos they appeared in. *shrug* They deserve to be credited for their part. If you want to fall completely in love with them, look at the many BTS videos they churn out, or their tour vlogs, or those of their resident American tour manager Tankthetech. These guys come across as seriously nice people, they live the dream of an eternal childhood complete with all things you’re not permitted as a child.
They do have a few more serious songs, hate/love is a great one, also parasite and mind-reader from their tekkno album, and Crystals from their older stuff with their previous clean singer sushi

Just a heads up: the crotch shot dancers at the end are all German RUclipsrs. One of them (nipple tape dude) is HandOfBlood, who stars in their “MC Thunder” music videos. And the lead dancer guy in the middle (name I don’t know) is also in the “MC Thunder II” video as the chef character.
Speaking of MC Thunder, you need to watch both of them. The first one admittedly has their original singer before Nico (clean vocals) replaced him, but it’s still a good song and greater video. But MC Thunder II is on a whole other level
Main dancer guy at the end is Kalle Koschinsky. He does a couple of videos with EC (Arrow Of Love) I believe is one. But he also released a song with EC called Castrop X Spandau which is a personal favourite of mine. He also brought out a song on his own, with the help of a couple of EC boys, called Rentnersong, which is also good.
I love Electric Callboy but I am obsessed with Falling in Reverse, give Watch the World Burn a go
also just watch the music video that kalle made of this song. its basically the people from the end part for the whole song and its so funny
You could check out one of the songs from before Nico joined. Their humor was more edgy, harsher. I prefer the newer stuff, but there were some real gems. I suggest MC Thunder, preferably with captions because the lyrics are hilarious but hard to understand with the harsh vocals.
I could just watch EC videos, but I keep watching reactions because it feels like I'm enjoying the videos with someone 👍❤️🤘🍻
