My grandma bought me the Hamon tin when I was a kid. I still keep the card as a momento from her. Hits me right in the feels seeing you open that tin up.

My favorite card from the opening was actually that common Doitsu, because I never noticed how he was eating and not writing, which made me like the card a lot more.
I love seeing old tins opened. I can remember as a kid having the dark magician tin and the blue eyes tin and I always kept my cards that I thought were cool in it

Favourite sacred beast for me is Uria i just think it has the coolest design and Slifer has always been my favourite god card so yeah! I love the GX packs they're just as nostalgic for me as the classic sets like LOB/MRD etc especially CRV!

I love these tins that are for specific monsters. These might not be as classic as the OG's but they're still awesome. Raviel is my favorite. He was the first one I ever pulled. I remember pulling it out of a Duelist Saga pack back in 2017. I loved it with those holos that were in Duelist Saga.

Such a nostalgic vid! I run a sacred beast deck as well as a crystal beast deck so Hamon has always been my favourite. Wish I had these tins as a kid!
Cool video. My favorite was always Raviel as he's the Obelisk retrain and I always preferred Obelisk

Hamon is definitely my favorite sacred beast, I remember playing a deck I made with them as my ace during summer camp. I used to refer to it as "my ham" and my friends still bring that up to me when we play hahahahah

I wear a cap at night when it’s cold while camping, helps keep your warmth in since you lose a lot of body heat through your head.

I never had good luck opening tins but i still loved it for the random box style nature of it and you always got a dope secret rare if all else failed. I think the original tins were the first to guarantee a foil of any kind not to mention the first reprint of Jinzo so even from day one they were difficult to find. As an OG player it blew my mind when i heard some sets now guarantee a super rare in every pack not to mention super packs with multiple foils 🤯
I'd argue you got the tins for the cover card. I've had good luck in some of the older tins. In a Stardust Dragon tin I got, I pulled an ultimate rare Solar Recharge which I found pretty insane. Even if it was an Unlimited edition. I got a secret rare in another tin but it was kind of a dud one.

I never watched the gx anime but I read the manga. I’m getting the sense that the monsters differ a lot from the manga to anime, so to get a little more excitement on some of these cards being pulled I think I’m gonna start watching the anime

I love the Scared Beasts! Have a set of all the tin promos, all the Shadow of infinity Ultras, 1st Ed and a Raviel and Hamon Ultimate both 1st Ed. Don’t think I’ll ever get that Ulti Uria tho 😢Hopefully I can live vicariously through Rux 😂
GX was a top tier series for the show and the cards. Raviel has to be the best of the 3 though, that art is killer
