Sooo excited about this particular episode, I adore moquette as you know! See you tremendous lovely team later, roundels at the ready, and my six moquette cushions duly plumped!
And another, with closeups of London transport moquettes, even an advert design! - All aboard: London transport seat designs - in pictures | Art and design | The Guardian
LTM should sell remainders / off-cuts of moquette, so people can make their own moquette projects like the guy who covered his car seats with different moquettes.
Love love love it - thank you for another brilliant episode - will get to try and join you on Saturdays :) ....I even have a Underground map duvet cover, many models and loads of Drivers eye view videos too :D
Whilst it’s not a London moquette, my favourite ever moquette is ‘Castle’ as seen on West Midlands Metrobuses and National 2. Although a different design, colour wise it’s similar to ‘District’.
Hi EVERY-body-ee, a question for you , when I was a wee lad I travelled on a Greenline coach out to Surrey (I think). Can you tell me what maquette would have been used on these coaches please? ANY-bod-ee?
As one of the editors of LondonReconnections.com, I gather interesting transport links from all over the world for my Friday Reads and Monday's Friday Reads column, with Hidden London Hangouts featured a number of times. And I just realised that I have posted some moquette links as well, that the team and the viewers would love, notably this one www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-02-25/a-global-review-of-public-transit-seat-cover-designs (seat cover being the North American term for moquette), well worth checking out. [duplicate comment, in the proper episode].
Alex, I am not on Instagram but have sent you a Facebook Messenger message, my journey this evening in moquette. You will know two of them, naturally, but do you know the third?

Maybe it's just me but I find this sort of forced, excitable chat really irritating. Would hate to be stuck on my own in a tube at midnight with this bunch slapping each other on the back trying so desperately to be fun and funny.
Hello everyone. We just hit 1900 view in one week for last week's episode: Island Tubes
That was one of the best episodes so far but all the episodes are brilliant and look forward to Saturday evenings

As always, a treat to listen and to watch all you moquettistas. Alex, you should do a clip show of all your sneaky double-entendres!
George if I do I’ll give you one....
I have you a mention on the posters episode. Your comment was fab.
