Laura Hilton-Brown ... what a star !! Brandy butter, Cream and Custard !!! - My favourite bits of Christmas are the Roast potatoes and the Christmas pud . WHen I was a lad (god I'm startint to sound like my 65 years now) My Mum always mad 3 Christmas puds, 1 FOr christmas day, 1 for New years day and the other one we had at Easter and as we lived in a Pub it was made with stout and other doses of Alchohol ... Alex, Youd have loved it !

I might not have been able to get underground but these hangouts have been a great substitute.😁👍

Merry Christmas to all of you!! I used to live in London and fell in love with the history of the transit system across the city. Moving back home to Canada, I was sad I couldn't participate in the Hidden London tours and was ELATED when I saw they were being turned into a virtual affair. From there I was introduced to these Hangouts and I can't thank you all enough for the virtual tours and these Hangouts. You all have reinvigorated my love and curiosity for all things London Transport and I cannot thank you enough, especially during these darker COVID times.

We may have missed out on our planned visit to London this year, but watching the show every week has gone some way to fill that gap in our travels. It's also given us heaps of things to look out for when ever we can get to London.

Merry Christmas from Chicago! My wife and I had to cancel our trip to London earlier this year, so has been great to visit London virtually through these Hangouts. Wishing all of you a happy 2021!

Bring back London Transport! Complete with enamel badges, christmas puddings, canteens and LT tea. (Did they have staff bars?) I did work briefly for LT in the late 60s early 70s, but can only remember that "Officers" had nicer Loos and so on, and there was always a tea trolley with cheese rolls... When we audited the staff canteens in garages and depots, I do recall some of the mens bogs were rather primitive..
