Never a huge Toby guy but liked him. That is till I took my nephew to a concert. A bad storm blew in and he contractually could have quit, but he kept going in rough conditions. He said, "you paid for a concert and that is what you are going to get" Had a whole new respect for him!!! Saw Tim Mcgraw quit in lesser conditions at same venue!!

I think it is amazing he will still take the time to pay attention to fans, and listen to their dreams and goals of singing. I am an aspiring singer myself and a major Toby Keith fan and love singing his songs in Karaoke. But that girl is Drop dead Gorgeous, and has a Hell of a set of pipes on her. Been around Toby many times. Was talking to a guy with him one time about weight lifting. We were talking about one rep max on bench. When I told the guy my personal best was 365 pound bench Toby chimed in with "Yeah Right". Well I like Toby but that pissed me off cause I DON'T lie. My boss at the time was doing his security and I was one of his supervisors. I hadn't been in the gym in a long time so I probably didn't appear to have ever lifted that much weight. So I went back to the gym, it took me three months to get back my strength and size. So at a supervisors meeting I asked my boss to spot me on the bench. He walked into the weight room and saw 365 pounds on the bench. He said that's a lot of weight are you sure about this ? I laid down and said yep ! I pressed the 365 and looked at him and said "Now go tell Toby to kiss my ass, I don't lie ! " True Story !

Toby Keith is a super nice guy. I've known him for a while. Met him before he came out with his first record. I would always talk to him and hang out with him before and after the OU games. Been to his house many of times. I gave him shit when i first heard him sing. Told him you wont make it very far. The song, How Do You Like Me Now, was written just for me. Lol. He still gives me shit about that every time i would see him.

I wrote a country song and put it on You Tube and it got covered by Etan Cole and Allison Brown because of the lyrics. I have about 40 videos on you tube and that is the first time anyone did a cover of one of my songs which is about the best complement a songwriter can get .That song is called IM NOT DONE LOVING YOU.
