Glad this is your video. I'd like to go up there for a drive. Been around the Michigan side, several years ago. PS consider using a thesaurus to make the guy more interesting, which should increase masculine visitage, which would be stupendous!

I wish we had gotten as far north as Grand Portage, but we took a drive on the Gunflint Trail National Scenic Byway starting in Grand Marais and followed it all the way to the famous historic Gunflint Lodge and even wandered out into the deep woods at the Moose Viewing trailhead and found snow under the pines even around Memorial Day last year. We didn't see any moose though...unfortunately. It runs all the way up to the Canadian border and the Superior National Forest along the way. Almost all the way to the BWCAW Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. it was such a nice 4 hour drive... it's part of the Voyageurs route from Canada to the the North Shore around what is now part of the Voyageurs National Park.

Sounds like a beautiful trip. Would have been so cool to see a moose. We might have to try a fall trip on Minnesotas north shore, we are making a list of things we want to go back and see.

@@Lovenesters fall colors would look great in the North Woods and all along Highway 61 Scenic Drive. The Gunflint trail is surrounded by forests and lakes and rivers all along the way and would look even pretty in fall colors.
