- Hey guys! I’m Jordan Baylis, founder of Bass Fishing America and Bwear Bassin. This is my journey. Come join me as I fish the Northwest and travel America on the epic bass hunt. This page will have fishing adventures, tips and side bits on new gear and styles of fishing.
I’ve been a diehard fisherman for 20 years. Although I have experience in a wide range of fishing, my passion is Bass fishing. I’ve lived most of my life in the Northwest fishing Oregon, Washington and Idaho, but I actively travel and fish in other states in the US. Dude! What a great day of fishing. I love that place. Small mouth are one of my favorites to catch. Pound for pound one of the best fighters.
Yes they are but I love bluegill they are the hardest fighting fish ever I think

Good to see you on the "right" side of the river; smb fishing has been great. I see that they finally put the dock back together since last week and made a few repairs. We'll have to connect and take you on the boat, a little cramped for space but fun.

Smallmouth are everywhere out west. I bet the new world record will come from the PNW.
@@davidsalo8397 that's what I've heard. The few I've caught since being here have all shattered my Midwest PBs. I've also read the next world record walleye might come out of the Dalles or John Day Pools.
Jordan, I am a new subscriber and I really enjoyed you and this Columbia smallmouth video. You mentioned Rock Cove in this video but your fishing was so good other places you did not make it there. I looked Rock Cove up on Google and it is a very large cove. I would like to fish it but have no idea where to start. If you would not mind, could you give me some advice as to where to start in Rock Cove. I see Rt.14, the Discovery Museum, and a long beach like area with a trail running along it as possible places to fish. I would really appreciate any insights you are willing to share. I live at least 4 hours from the Columbia so I will not be ruining your fishing spot. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Another great video. Congrats on that big fish. Do u find that the fish bite better on high tide or low tide? Or does it not matter and also how much is a license for Washington non resident?
