I had to repeat that crane dance, i just had to. That's a really beautiful dancing I've seen in a while. HJW is really something. To be able to carry that depth and emotion all shown in a traditional dance is shows how great of a talent she possess. ❤

The good minister could not accept jinyi's excellent performance with the sword/crane dance because he knew that dance was for eunho and just realized that she still loves him...in short he is jealous in this scene...unlike Mr baek mo who is sinister and obsessively wants jinyi can still appreciate the beautiful and difficult dance she did...baekmo maybe bad but he knows art when he sees one....and the dance is pure art!

And what pisses me off with the supposed to be good minister is his judgement was clouded by jealousy and resort to rules to punish her when he saw it with his own eyes that they deliberately left her onstage..in a way he uses his position to also seduced and for jinyi to fall in love with him..she fell in love with him because of his similarity with eunho. That's why when they were together she was not totally happy...she longed for her art..and realized that her old mistress was right.
The good and the bad minister just used different methods of seducing jinyi...but both used their positions to draw her closer. The sublime/mysterious/principled goody one and the rude, arrogant/frank one.
Baekmu is the greatest gisaeng of all. She never shown her feelings, smile for whatever sadness she feels, just like what gisaeng is abt. Meanwhile Jini act like spoiled Brat just bcz she has talents. I wonder if ppl at those Times really let a gisaeng behave like jinni. Bet she beheaded already.
Hwangjini is a historical drama and a true story about a Gisaeng name Hwangjini ..... the script well, short story thus making long, you have to add salt and paper plus spices, more of peeling ONIONs so that Fans will feel it with Tears about her life that become a legend. I watch for a third time and still CRY ..... the script writer and the lead actress are all Professional and brilliant Art people. Never fail to amuse audiences.

I think her friend deserves it, she insisted to Fall in Love Jini to Eunho, then Become Traitor to her friend. NNow she is being used to get Jini by the man., i guess she deserve it all, the rude treatment,. Being loyal friend is really hard, but it is harder that being traitor just to get Your Dream (Gaesang)
