Yoooo, seeing a lot of comments on the location of this apartment… the location which I said in the video is Ajman (which is a neighboring suburb about 1 hour north of Dubai). This video is meant to display the CHEAPEST option when visiting or living in Dubai (as it is the main destination for tourists). When I stayed here I commuted to Dubai (as do many that live in Ajman) and it was very efficient / cost effective while also experiencing the neighborhood culture of Ajman. Anyway, hope that clears things up 🙌
Hey Bobby, amazing video. Just a word of caution - you're not allowed to fly drones in Dubai without a license (even for non commercial use). If you get caught, there are some hefty fines to pay and you could go to jail. Be careful!
Another great video! I just want to tell you that you are a rare content creator that by being caught of faking you apologized and you were honest, this is rare because if people who are faking they're videos just quit RUclips, but you are one good content creator. You are one of the nicest guys in this entire platform and you inspire so many people, keep the fire going and don't let it extinguish! 🔥🔥🔥
sorry to break it to you son but that apartment isn't in dubai, it's in ajman. ajman is one of the cheapest emirates in the united arab emirates. I live in dubai, and i can tell you firsthandly the cheapest rent i've seen is around around 4000 dhs per month (approx. $1100). rent in dubai averages around 5000 dhs (approx $1400) for a 1 bed apartment and more than 10,000 dhs monthly (approx $2400) for a villa/house. i think you got confused with ajman to be northern dubai but dubai isn't a country. dubai is an emirate (or perhaps "state") and is one of the 7 emirates of the UAE. This didn't mean to be hate. Just clearing up some things for you :)
Noel Philip ajman is an emirate inside the uae the title shouldn’t say dubai coz its not its ajman even if its north of... its not dubai its a different emirate
I'm confused, and maybe I missed it (I watched the kitchen section twice, though)... there's no kitchen sink? How do you wash your dishes? Do you just use paper plates, plastic forks and spoons, and styrofoam cups and just throw it in the trash? My breakfast is pretty small: small glass of OJ, small bowl of oatmeal, cup of tea - but that's still a small glass, a bowl, a spoon and a teacup to wash every day. Was there a sink in the bathroom? I saw a toilet and a shower. Didn't see a bathroom sink.
Just an FYI Ajman isn't a suburb of Dubai it's a completely different Emirate. That's like saying 'Cheap living in Los Angeles' but you live in Nevada 😂Non the less still a good video
Wow. That is tiny! Definitely needs more windows....or at least a better placed window in the actual living area. Love your positive outlook on it. :) I could stay in that apartment for a little trip, but definitely wouldn't want to "live" there.
I live in those towers they are called falcon towers, and the thing is Bobby didn’t mention that it is a 3 bedroom apartment, but it is partitioned into more smaller bedrooms, so bachelors can live there.
@@zainab5650 Ahh no wonder it is so tiny even compared to studio apartments in Malaysia. I was wondering about the placement of the window too as from the outside each apartment seems to have more windows/balconies.
Thanks for the information man. In the video I said this apartment was in Ajman (which is a place many commute from to Dubai and is a way to live cheap when working and visiting Dubai).. however it seems to not be understood 100% so I have altered the title and posted a pinned comment. Thanks again for the comment!
Yes, I heard that you mentioned where exactly it is and how people can go from there to Dubai, but 1 hour away drom Dubai shouldn't be advertised as Dubai. It is a different city. And it automatically isn't good for cheap living (because you most likely would need a car which needs gasoline) to get to Dubai.
Dubai is not the only city in the United Arab Emirates. Ajman is NOT in Dubai, Ajman is a whole different city which is further than Sharjah. You CANNOT get an apartment for $500 IN Dubai
Bobby, there is a restaurant in Dubai called 'Dar es Salaam', the owner is originally from Tanzania and so you'll get the opportunity to taste our food. The old owner used to be a friend of my grandfather. We go there whenever we're in Dubai and miss food from home because they get it all SPOT ON.
Am I missing something? Where are the sinks in this place? No sink in bathroom, no sink in the kitchen. No brushing teeth, washing dishes etc? This seems odd, or maybe you forgot to show us those? The drome footage was wonderful.
I like it! Are you going to do Dollar meals in Dubai? Love your videos! I went to NYC for Spring break and almost went to all the spots you recommended. The $2.50 peanut noodles were awesome! 🤗
an important side note man, using a drone could get you arrested if anyone were to inform about you or were seen by a cop for not carrying a filming/drone license (in that location). In addition, you are not allowed to exceed 100m (i think) in the air even after you get yourself a license
Guys, he said it in Ajman in his comment and also said that its north of Dubai in the vid not north part of Dubai I may be wrong with his exact quote but he said it's in Ajman so chill out with comment both cities are interconnected and are right next to each other so chill. Hey Bobby ! 500$ for that kinda room is quite expensive considering that the apartment is in ajman.... you can get bigger rooms for a cheaper rate if you spend some time on the internet.
You should go to Abu Dhabi and visit Yas island lots of stuff to do there. For Dubai there is wild wadi which is a water park and there is also city walk which is amazing and there is also motion gate and IMG they are amusement parks or even go to the dessert.
Sure it's a good value if its American dollars and of you work in America, but if you work in Dubai this would be more expensive because of the money making to spending ration
