Music has an amazing power to heal us. Great art is timeless. The Smiths music will live forever in our hearts (: ))
I have loved Morrissey forever. My husband and I went to all his concerts. My husband has passed away and I’m waiting on Morrissey to come around again to honor my husband.... I will go see him again in honor of my husband.
Sorry for your loss.

This was his prime. One year after I graduated high school, roughly a year after Vauxhall and I released, and right about the time World of Morrissey came out. It seems like yesterday.....his voice was so perfect during this era. And I moped through life with him as my soundtrack. He still is, albeit not to the fanatical extreme as it used to be.
The brooding angst has leveled off, the gray hairs have begun to make their advance, the fatigue of age has begun to set in.....but when I close my eyes....I can go tight back to that time...and both of us are still there....walking the streets, side by side, with incredible style
Awww ❤️
Lol
I know this is his best live
The early 90's were truly a genuine era. It seems the best of the 80's in my opinion were still there to enjoy during that period of time where here in the states Grunge was all the rave, but I could care less. I gather I graduated a mere year prior to you and when age sets in, it does kick your @ss !
This is fucking beautiful. Morrissey would be proud.
I bought “Strangeways” on cassette at the mall in 1987. He has been graciously providing the soundtrack to my life ever since.
Hola, yo con 54 años, te puedo asegurar que mi vida también. Saludos desde Argentina
I can't believe it took me until my 40's to be aware of Morrissey. LOVE
it's pretty remarkable how many people my music touches.... I think I am very lucky in that way, I think I have you to be the most thankful fan 🎹🌹🎹🌹🎹🌹.
I'm 63. Just now heard of him
I overlooked Morrissey and The Smiths somehow but in 2010 I got in tune with them. I’ve seen Morrissey twice, Jonny Marr once and Andy Rourke once with The Pretenders. Sorry to have missed drummer MJ
I'm in the same boat!
i love how fans just casually get on the stage

How remarkable you are for allowing that to happen, respond personally to RUclips videos, and be the all around cat we have dug for the last forty years. Thanks. Good luck on the tour this year.
@@Randy950 thats not the real Morrissey
This is unbelievable! Closest thing to a time machine. He is amazing and still is.
"VAUXHALL AND I" IS AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. MY TEEN YEARS WERE MADE BEARABLE BY THIS LEGEND. TOTAL RESPECT.

The greatest live concerts ever filmed. Change my mind.

Hey, I wrote that man. This guy copy and pasted.
So? It's really weird that people get so anal about wanting these song lists.

Thanks! Would you or anyone happen to know the music at 1:01:20? It's devastatingly beautiful.❤️
When I died 27 years ago Morrisey brought me back to life. Vegas here we go!!!
He is perfect on every single way. I will love him forever
Such a multitalented artist. There are not many out there who can write such amazing lyrics as Morrissey! One of the best lyricists and singers of all time! I will always have a special place in my heart for Moz 💗
In what sense is he multitalented?
Tobias Konge she just explained
@@lewisreutlingen If not for Morrissey, would there be a band??
@@lewisreutlingen Singer, Songwriter, lyricist, author, memoirist... How is he NOT multi-talented?!
He is a gifted lyricist and performer. Good looking too--at this time.
I think it is probably his best tour and the best period to see him ! the setlist is on fire 🔥🔥🔥 he looks almost happy ;)
💯
My Mom passed from cancer January 20th of 1995….I was a fucking mess and was 16 years old….You’re an enigma like me….Thank you for your beautiful voice and introspect on life….Im sorry you lost your Mom recently? But glad that you got to spend the time you did with her….Life is difficult and it sucks a lot of the time….You say it eloquently and you mean a lot to a bunch of people….That’s fucking amazing in my book….❤️💙✌️
God i love him, i wish i had a chance to see him live during this era, sadly i hadn't even been born yet! I don't think any artist could ever replicate what he did in his career, especially around this time period which is when i think he was at his best. Forever my favourite artist, and just one of my favourite people in general.
The ending of this video when "Will never marry" was playing with the compilation of all the fans running up on stage hugging and kissing Morrissey, man that was a really heart warming sight, something about that is really beautiful to me and i can't quite put my finger on why, a rare sight of people coming together in such a beautiful way i suppose, no man can bring such wonderful displays of affection out of people other than him.
I was there when this was recorded. So glad I got to see Mozzer in this era. He was at the peak of his powers in the mid-90s.
Go see him live now. He’s still amazing ❤
As someone said before, this is the prime of Morrissey. I started listening to him around 97 and saw him live in Portugal for the first time in 1999 - he still had a bit of shyness but at the same time he was more mature and seemed happy, balanced. This is the Morrissey that marked me and saved me from my terrible teens. It's incredible seeing this concert now in 2021, how the audience would go on stage but it was civilised and mutually respectful. Amazing.
Seen him twice.. Ringleaders tour and years of refusal .. incredible , his voice is great to this day.. This is one his finest live shows 10/10
At his best
Viva La Moz
Morrissey comes to see me.
Love Morrissey - forever ❤️
Thanks for your sincere compliment and love, love you too...I’m not complete without you as my Fan 🌹🎻 I have you to be most thankful fan🎻🎻🌹
Adoro esse show não canso de assistir uns dos melhores Paula essa banda fantástico deveria ter bandas assim
@@robertoroberto5752 it’s mesmerising isn’t it ❤️🥰
Absolutely Roberto !
Everytime I hear his voice, takes me to the narrow roads of london dowtown, as if I lived my entire life there.... Just love it!!
My favorite video. The repertoire, a fan relationship, the intimate atmosphere of the show, etc. Everything is divine on the show. Even more, it has a wonderful introduction. An exciting ending, with scenes from Morrissey fans. Sublime! 😍💓
Thanks for your comment Jairo......everything Moz would love.
Thanks for your sincere compliment and love, I’m not complete without you as my Fan 🌹🎻 I have you to be most thankful fan🎻🎻🌹
Who else thinks the stage invasions in the outro 'Will never marry' is the most beautiful part of this?.....Bought the VHS many moons ago.......fabulous!!!!!!
Definitely!! Also remember watching this on VHS longer ago than it feels it should be. Amazing gig topped off by will never marry. B side of everyday is like Sunday is probably the greatest b side ever!
Yes, that montage with that song… it actually made me emotional
Yes it’s the perfect montage to an amazing Gig by moz at his best.
God that was a great performance on now my heart is full
It was, it actually made me cry
frederick909 i just love the look of this movie so much i love the lights and the fog and the crowd
Goosebumps
Surprising with no old morrissey or old smiths song at the time for 95' this is one of his most iconic gigs ever
I know it's all about Morrissey...but this band was astonishingly good. It would have been nice to see the players...both guitarists in particular.
this is my favorite show, Morrissey the best singer for me, a lot of talent and intelligence to write. Viva Morrissey.
Morrissey is art my sister told me today he has cancer praying 🙏 for him
The montage of Will Never Marry is so beautiful, all those passionate fans and their face expressions, is just a one of the best highlights from a Mozz live concert footage.
I love his whole 'throwing the mic lead about' act, really makes me chuckle
Honestly Ollie was Saying to the Wife tonight a Do it with The Edge cutter and the Flymo Cables In a Muzz way x
His sound guys must hate it when he swings the mike around like that ... 'There goes another one!;-P '
Image wise, the 1995 Morrissey was the sharpest. Jeans, blazer, white shirt, Docs and most Importantly killer side burns and well coiffiured hair. The song list was fantastic too.
Oh, by the way, the song list was good, too. 😏
What a time capsule of 1995 morrissey. Grand.
i agree, tight band, sharp image.
Great songs but I would have loved this era of Morrissey to have done some of the Viva Hate/Bona Drag material too.
100% agree
hiiii!!! from Mexico!!! WE LOVE YOUUUUUU MORRISSEY!!!!!
*'Mexrrissey'*
He whips the microphone cord so awesome.
What an unbelievable setlist.
I own this on vhs and dvd...One of the BEST!!!
I have it on vhs too!!!
Yes it is
@@Lunaticaceleste Me three!
@@christopherbarney8424 I reckon you meant to say "me too", right? 😜
I just keep watching this concert again and again.
So prividged to see him live on Haloween in 2008 Baltimore Md. At Rams Head live. Opening with" the loop." Such kind hearted people there, such humanity and gentleness.
I’ve seen him many times in the last 25 years, his voice here is fantastic
the best version of Speedway
He STILL sounds amazing, I NEED to see him live, but you can hear more clarity in voice at this point.
Thank you for this x
I was a sophomore in h.s. when Jennifer Davis, my beautiful classmate, introduced me to Morrissey. I'll forever be grateful! thanks Jenn! ❤
My condolences to the Morrissey and Dwyer families. May she rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Stay strong Moz.

The new album is a fantastic return to form. Best thing he’s done for twenty years.
Bought it on VHS tape. 100 years ago.
Absolutely agree! The end so perfect...

i bought this vhs in high school and watched over and over, 20 years later still great
And oh how this era of the Moz does creep into our thoughts... Good times... Good times... All hail the Moz!!!!!!!👑
This was my first time watching a Morrissey concert and I must say, it is as good as the Smiths!!! I really enjoyed it because normally, I just watch Smiths concerts but I thought I'd try a Morrissey concert and it was brilliant!!!
Mischievous crowd dive at the end was icing on a marvellous cake. 🤘❤️
The opening is simply Amazing!!! Putting on the REPLAY MODE!!!

sit down by james same music
@@rahulkhobba5820 🤣🤣🤣
@@antonioeisadora what Should i understand by your smilies?
@@rahulkhobba5820 I don't agree with your opinion, man. And I like both songs.
Beautifully filmed. Brilliant artist.
Morrissey!!! Nothing else needs said!!! Would love to see him one more time, seen him many many times but, never enough, he’s coming to England this year so if I’m lucky enough to get a ticket then this old man will be very happy ( for once) 😂
What a time travel to the highlight of his artistic creativity! Most of my beloved MOZ songs are from this era. And there are so much at this concert: Jack the Ripper, Have-A-Go, We'll Let You Know, (the amazing) Speedways and so on and so on.
Mostly agree but his new album is truly excellent. The best since Vauxhall and I. It’s been my constant covid companion.
@@29memyselfandi You´re right, "I am not a dog on a chain" is great and, for me, the best album since "You are the Quarry".
Will always be grateful. Thx Steven for saving my life with your songs.
Absolutely fantastic, thanks!
I love it when he goes off and starts whipping that microphone cord and swinging those hips. Hes so damn good!
Thank You for this...
I still get goosebumps at the beginning of his performance 🖤
the best band of him, really miss Alain White
same
he has own facebook with lots of acoustic songs, also Morrissey songs. Whyteside Forever.
Alain Whyte is a tremendously talented guitarist and one hell of a nice guy. Hes the blueprint for what a rock guitarist should be like.
Me too
@@MrCelibate love his Morrissey covers!
When iwas trying to be a musician, the first time i heard him (the queen is dead) iwas so nicely shocked, it represent me a dandy or a cocney in his era, i tought oh, he represent all this music all the english lifestyle, and all this famous writersand novelists, hes my inspiration, its really what i wish to do musically talking, thank you mozz for existing, y really trulylove you, man!
Not only was I at the winter Gardens show but I am also immortal as the first to hug Morrissey in the montage. I've seen him many times but this one was special. I also got a scrap of his shirt (a retro Blackburn rovers shirt) as it was rorn apart by the crowd. I loved him then and I love him now. I am still devout.
Quality. Your immortal. Respect.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of u🐾👑❤👏🌹
Incredible performance, captured so eloquently. Moz and crew were at the top of their game. 💙

I saw him years back and got several eye contact moments ,wohooo
Thank you so so very much!
One of my all time favourite musicians and bands ever.
Thank you ! My Mum and I went to see Morrissey a few years ago and we finally had the pleasure to enjoy his music live . She tried to go see him in cofnert in the 1990s but both shows were cancelled. However, we were lucky to be able to see him finally in the 2000s . Now, of course, I don't blame Morrissey. And I know he does not enjoy cancelling shows
Thank you for the music and for singing so honest and so heart wrenching.
Even if sometimes that hurts. I do love your music! Thank you so much to the incredible musicianship of The Smiths and of Morrissey's solo bands. The bands deserve a great deal of respect! :)
The guitar tones, guitar playing, drumming and bass tone are all fantastic on this live performance!! :)
Absolutely genius !!! The best!!!!
I used to have this gig in its Original VHS Format back on the 90's. It's really good to have it here.
I cried a lot when I heard Moon River (38:10)

MAGNIFICENT!!!
Long live Morrissey!!!
Love. Just love...
Oh, You are sooo Great, Thank You!!!
I was there at Blackpool's Winter Gardens. Great memories. One of the best concerts ever.
As a 14 year old I travelled with my football team Feyenoord to see them play against Tottenham. During the same trip I went to Small Wonder Records and saw QPR-Liverpool. London was exciting and all the best bands seemed to come from the UK. Now I wouldn't go to London if they payed me and I can't name a decent new British band. I'm glad I was around to see and hear some of the greats like this man☝️
I think president

Morrissey you must have a perfect life
Sin dudas, unos de los mejores recitales en vivo del Sr. Morrissey, lo compré hace muchos años en VHS 📼, como siempre una voz increíble y su banda afinadisima.
Te amo, Moz.
I have been a huge fan of this band since the beginning and very modern in every way visual sound for that time! 90's. boxer's beautiful man.
Thank You for the incredible thing You have done with My voice over the years, because I AM finding singing with You very delightful
