NEW STRATAGEM, TANKS & MORE ruclips.net/video/K4Xge81jqCE/видео.html What's your thoughts on the weapon buffs? I thought here would be more but there is some good changes. Personally, I was expecting some changes to Sickle, Shotguns like Plasma for example. The tenderizer has seen a great buff and at the same has seen a mag / ammo nerf that was surprising to see. I love the update. We are getting there. Just need to see some more buffs for certain items.
@@BarnacleBob-fy7bo Stalwart, I really don't like the shotguns in this game, they all shoot slow & don't reward good aiming. I played a lot of PUBG so landing my shot is pretty easy on anything in this game. Though it should still be a stratagem. To keep it from being broken.
It made sense in that your destroyer was coordinating where the artillery fired. But it was dumb, because it further decreased the desirability of actually completing that side objective.
@@kamikeserpentail3778especially as the objective had became the worse one to do in game with the spawn rates throwing endless hordes of enemies at you the entire time b
They didn’t really “nerf” the Tenderizer, they just properly balanced it. Of course it isn’t going to have the mag capacity as something like the liberator; it’s niche in the sandbox is a punchier, more accurate assault rifle with an ammo trade off.
I personally felt that the ammo could have remained the same. When I'm fighting so many enemies I tend to run out of ammo quickly. The Tenderizer has been buffed for sure! It's a lot better now. It's just the mag/ammo that's all.
@@GlitchUnlimitedbut that’s the trade off for these type of ars. They hit hard but have little ammo. Think of it more like an FAL in other games and less like an M16 or M4.
@@陈凯文-n1h I'd say it's been improved even more now with the change that increases the magazine capacity from 25 to 30 and increase body damage from 10% to 20%
@@GlitchUnlimited It's still a low-budget Diligence-CS in most situations, but at least now it doesn't feel positively weak. At least it one-shots Scavengers and Bot troopers more often than the standard Liberator now. IMO the Liberator Penetrator is still useless because its base damage is so low it negates the armor penetration, and combined with the reduced magazine, I could've just spent the same time/effort carefully aiming *_any other Primary_* at Devastators' crotches anyway. I used to defend the Adjudicator with "at least it's not Lib-P."
Purfirer should just be pre-charged... Rate of fire would not change but it would be a little more usefull I cannot stand charging weapons. Now orbital railgun should be buffed its too slow reload for just one shot (I'd put a second barrel upgrade so it could shot 2 times before reload). Resupply does seem bugged and not refill all recoiless ammo like it did before (with ship upgrage)
I don't think the orbital railgun needs to be buffed tbh, it can consistently one shot the heaviest units in the game so the slower cooldown feels justified. A double barrel upgrade would be cool tho
@@soulgamer612210 reload seconds for a single random maybe-kill versus almost any other stratagem getting 2-8-10 uses in basically the same timeframe. Hell, in theory the 110 rockets just outright replaced it by becoming pinpoint and DD focussed with 4 uses per 2 minute re-arm.
@IRMentat the 110 rockets are generally more inconsistent imo, many times they either don't deal enough damage to outright kill their target or miss altogether, though they seem to have improved significantly in this patch. The Railgun otw always hits and it one shots most targets, only the factory strider and the bile titan can survive it, and even then you can often one shot the bile Titans if the strike lands on the head. Obviously you can't rely on it as your only anti heavy choice, but being able to instantly remove a heavy unit from the equation still makes it very powerful, you just need a 2nd stratagem choice to deal with the remaining heavies and good target prioritization
@IRMentat the 110m rockets are a great complement to the railgun tho, especially for more common heavies like chargers and hulks. The Railgun takes out one of the superheavies while the rockets deal with smaller more numerous foes. Combine that another eagle strike (usually the 500kg bomb or the cluster strike) plus a support weapon of your choice and you have a very balanced load out that can take out heavies consistently
What do you mean the tenderizer nerf? It got a lot more damage and stagger for less ammo and mag size. Yeah that hurts but you can play around that, bring supply pack and heavy machine gun.
Look again at this dudes gameplay, bro has zero strategy and dies left right and center. These requests for “buffs” are just a means to compensate for how bad these kids are at the game. They need to stick to Fortnite at this rate tbh
Hell. The tenderizer has been my go-to primary since it came out. I almost never run out of ammo with it, unless I'm in a group, go on my own, and don't take any time to go to points of interest for ammo. Now they've buffed the damage. I bet it's great now, for those of us who don't spray from more than 100m away at armored targets...
I told people not to expect this to be a weapon balance patch. The biggest change is the decrease in the number of heavy enemies, and buffing a certain non-support weapon stratagems against heavies. This is kind of how I expected things to go. I'm fine with this patch
I been playin all morning and patrols are actually worse now . They don’t just spawn near or when your around objectives but they are around every corner and seem like they spot u a lot easier from 150 m away when not wearing scout armor . They said less heavy armors enemies and more medium armor and small armor enemies but I’m still running to about the same and sometimes more Heavy’s with a ton of medium and small armor enemies . I rather have them just go back to how it was . it was more manageable . It’s ridiculous now .
What decrease? There has never been more Chargers and Factory Striders since this patch 😂 devs couldn’t even get the patrol spawn rate fix right. At least the weapon balance update was pretty solid.
None of these changes appear to massively alter my preferred loadouts, but it certainly intrigues me enough to make me want to try some of these things out, and that is exactly what the game needs and what players should want. Get people to try new things, possibly shake up the meta for some so it feels less repetitive, they did that especially well with buffing damage to heavy armor on so many of the stratagems, could make a big difference in ppls Strat choices.
There's a long fucking way between dev's not knowing what the hell they're doing or what they wanna do with their game, and "perfect" game. A lot of what they did is fix their own mess they made in the first place. Hard to please ? Fun isn't that hard a concept to grasp is it ? Those devs are having a hard time with it.
All I wanted was my funny shrapnel gun back. The damage increase is. . . alright. But its not worth taking unless you purposely want to make your experience worse
@@bingbong8464 Is the crowd control any better? Yeah it obliterates whatever you're shooting at, but it did that and more before it got nerfed. You could consistently wipe out patrols and one shot Brood Commanders with that thing.
@@bingbong8464 That was the point of the weapon pre-nerf. It was fine as it was, the Eruptor has no point now. If you want single target damage, why take it when you can just get any other primary and bring an autocannon/railgun? They do what the Eruptor does now but better, they can even hit heavier targets. Post-nerf Eruptor's wave clearing capability made it stand out and gave it it's own utility, it felt more reasonable to give up an AR/SMG/SG primary to effectively rinse patrols and tougher enemies at the cost of versatility, ammo and effective close quarters.
@OrionDawn15 it wasn't, point was to actually hit the enemy and be accurate. Not shoot the ground to instant k both the enemies and your teammates. P.S primaries and support weapons aren't the same thing💀😂
The helldivers fanbase is really something else. They take 15 Ls back to back to back, they get half a W in return and they will defend ArrowHead to their last tooth. Mfs really be like "man the buffs really were unneeded, you just have to have skill man. And the ship patrol is good man, you just have to have skill man, like m'kay man" You all have to find a job as soon as possible.
I love almost all the changes but they said they reverted (with some tweaks) the patrol spawns, but they're actually even harder if anything, even with improved gear I'm getting caught in loops where I kill a patrol, walk 10 metres and I'm already up against another one, with the original patrol spawns which they said were 1/6 for solo play compared to groups I could manage to full clear on difficulty 7, after they made solo players get full squad spawn rates in the last update I was getting by at difficulty 6, sometimes full clearing still, now I am barely scraping by at difficulty 6 and can't full clear consistently even on difficulty 5, they upped spawns if anything and on the bot front the spawns are heavier harder to fight targets, every other devastator I fight is a heavy devastator where before they weren't that common
okay despite my heavy criticism on helldivers 2 resently... for 2 months though... I have to say that they've done much. Not sure that it will feel much greater but there was so much timeconsuming tasks so the update looks relatively corresponding the time gap it took
about tenderizer it went from 10 mags (+1 in loaded) and 35 rounds to 7 mags (+1 in loaded) and 30 rounds while also going from 60 damage to 90 and from 6 durable damage to 22 so a x1.5 the damage normally and x3.6 the durable damage, you waste a lot less ammo compared to before also you now get full ammo back on it from a resupply
I think it’s a good patch, but underwhelming compared to the expectations the community had. Some were considering this patch to be the one that saves the game, but I just don’t think it is. It would’ve been more fair to view this as the first of a series.
Agree! I was expecting a bit more, something with the sickle or plasma shotgun.. It's a good patch in terms of what they have changed especially the war map.
the devs said not to have your hopes too much prior to this, i do think they missed some opportunities with buffing the purifier more, i wonder how much they actually play tested the weapon itself.
Yeh the devs have consistently told us that this was not the mother of all patches and that there would be a few more doen the line.....some people do not listen
I guess you're right there is a bigger problem with community and their expectations than with a patch itself. It's a big good patch with little to no nerfs and solid buffs to the game overall.
Guys, is the game laggy or delayed on your side? cuz im having delay issues since the new patch... im holding myself from playing atm to not ruin other players' game
They will probably never add it back in because they don't know how to balance it. People liked the Shrapnel because it allowed for some skill shots (1-hit charger kills if you aimed at the right spot) but from Arrowhead's POV 1-shotting anything with it is unfair...
It’s a right small baby step in the right direction but the spawns are still the same ( and somehow even worst feels like increased spawns ) , and I didn’t test the rest of the changes. Edit : I tested it on EXTREME AND HELLDIVE difficulties.
@@graytatehoward its a premium weapon my dude it supposed to be powerful and stands out from the rest and yes i know its unlimited ammo but its pve game you are supposed to be overpowered ( go see HD 1 weapons and get a taste on how powerful the weapons were ) Maybe increase its damage to 75 and keep it that way with the ammo nerf and it should be in a solid state
Spawns are the same but u say they feel like they have more like no duh they reverted the spawns into original and more likely to have enimies be more nundled up on onj
I'm overall excited for this patch. It adds a new enemy (charger behemoth), buffs a ton of weapons, and makes the spear viable. I'm also excited the spawns were revised so there will be more smaller enemies and less bigger ones. Now there won't be so much emphasis on anti-tank stratagems and some folks can bring in more mob clearing stratagems now. If there is one change I would like is the sound effect for the eruptor to be changed. Shooting it should sound more like a loud bang in my opinion.
I think they should make crossbow a secondary weapon instead. I mean who is using it over the incendiary breaker, the jar, or sickle? It's as good as the grenade pistol IMO, but the grenade pistol is better because it doesn't take up a primary slot.
Larger explosive radius. More damage. Doesn't only stock up on two nades per refill. Staggers. I'm not saying it's the best weapon but hell it was a massive improvement from when I last used it
@@Hydallion Wow, THAT would be great! Since the Pummeler came out, I discovered how well it went together with the ballistic shield. SO I BECAME THE HEAVY DEVASTATOR. One of my favorite loadouts with laser cannon or AMR. Still, I feel we need another one-handed weapon besides the SMGs and secondaries. With the buffed crossbow as a one-handed, man... **urge to spread democracy intesifies** Thank you for this idea! Love you too, dear jumper ❤=)
I the tenderiser AR to have a more punchy haptic feedback on PS5 it feels like zero is being applied compared to other weapons. I’m someone who loves feedback from my controller.
@@Geebs319 yeah, didn’t lock on half the time before patch just as if it was empty. That’s what I meant by truthful experience lol And no, I didn’t rock it empty; in fact this weird lock-in made me paranoid so I checked the ammo every time before trying
Also quick addendum: I do believe to it was usable before patch, it didn’t work only like 30% of the time. Ironically after this patch now as it cannot target building - I kinda stopped using it lol
110 MM I think is an overall acceptable change, as I see I’ve always used it as a means of “softening” targets like Bile Titans, versus expecting it to outright kill them. Added armor penetration is always a plus
further ammo reductions on top of the previous is really insulting. it shows the balance team yet again is being lazy. everything fits into a bracket of *too popular nerf in some way* or that everything has a max possible DPS quota allowed per category. its still stat sheet adjustments and not player fun testing. so much for more "quality" when their lazy habits still shine throw. there are some good buffs. but magically they left out the blitzer, arc thrower, and counter sniper...
The xbow needs it's AoE damage brought back to baseline when it came out. When it first released the xbow could do a massive amount of damage in AoE that made it rewarding to use against groups of enemies and helped counterset it's mag size of 5. After they nerfed the explosion range it became a useless weapon. It still isn't good currently because you can hit a enemy right next to it's foot and it'll be perfectly fine
Disappointed that eruptor shrapnel has not returned, but overall satisfied with this patch. Thank super earth that the cold planet modifier actually affects the quasar cannon properly now
They told us not to have high expectations so I get some of the disappointment. Still this is the right direction and with this I’ll not quit. I have gotten my patrol spawn rate back that is all that matters to me tbh. By the way tenderizer feels so good now! You have to try it out more.
I’d be interested in playing around with the Crossbow in conjunction with a heavy weapon that’s treated as a Primary, like the newly buffed machine gun, and maybe utility grenades like incindiary. If the Crossbow is more consistent than the pistol at closing bug holes that would be nice utility.
in my opinion, the spear lock should be manually selectable because it doesn't make sense for me to fire a missile blocking a minor enemy or for me to have difficulty aiming at one that is behind others, or even worse it doesn't make sense for the spear not to be able to throw down a reinforcement cargo because the automatic aim is set to hit it in the center and not on the engines.
This wasnt the big weapon patch they have been talking about, and ArrowHead said this way before this patch dropped, they are still working on more weapon tweaks and Im sure they will be looking over what changed here and adjusting for player feedback on it as well
Crossbow would he worth it IF they made it a nearly silent weapon so you could stealth kill and it wouldn't. Alert on firing it. It should alert on downed targets, but they should move to that downed target and not magically know where you are. On explosions they should go to high alert, but still not pin point you immediately. Itd make for a great gameplay loop
What i think, a lot of people are missing, is that any nerf hurts the player base. It makes sense to slowly edge weapons up AND avoid the need to nerf later because someone in weapons development went crazy with the cheese whiz. They said it themselves (AH) they are not done. This is a process. Said this myself in the lead up, this is not going to be a cure all for all, but it is DEFINITELY a great start.
Any overall buffs to all the ARs already in the game? They worth using yet? Was also hoping for some more love in the shotgun area as well. I feel like those were 2 bigger areas needing attention. Im thankful for what they did but i think they need a tad more if this is "THE" patch.
Nothing for shotguns , the adjudicator and tenderizer are good now . Regular liberator and concussice is a tad bit better . Wish they buffed the lib penetrative a bit though . Feel like it needs a bit more ammo in the clip
The eagle strafing run is kinda nuts now, I gave it a test run on bugs and I can severely hurt/kill chargers and destroyed a tower and spore objectives with one strafe each, definitely worth taking depending on team loadouts
A few thoughts: - I get what they are saying about the Eruptor Shrapnel and it would cause problems again (if they did a full revert back to original state). - Glad they updated the orbital and Eagle stratagems - Nice that all spewers and Titans are now doing less acid and stagger (W for Motivational Shocks) Overall, I'm happy with the patch. Admittedly they could have done more, but it was a long time coming for balancing and I'm sure we will get another one in due time
@@J1ntai eagle strikes cannot destroy factories and emp radars 170 meters away without been spoted or requiring a cooldown or relying on athmosphere conditions or requiring you to destroy AA emplacements to just been ablee to work but the spear used to, the only thing you needeed was eyes, ammo and high ground
This patch brings fixes I am very happy about and the changes on stratagems are really nice. The Tenderizer is a very good step forward imo for primaries but other ARs and weapons need more love. The Slugger, Arc thrower, Purifier (again) for example.
Eruptor is not quite where I might prefer it for regular use, though this is a step in the right direction. As it stands right now, there just seems to be better alternatives: Grenade pistol has a comparable fire rate with massively better handling and slightly more damage. Grenade launcher has better handling, more rounds per mag, just 5 fewer total rounds, and massively higher fire rate. Plus, it gets much better refills from ammo boxes or supply packs. Part of me feels that if the devs made the Eruptor a support weapon instead, they’d have more freedom to make it overpowered. Heck, it might even justify bringing back the shrapnel sans fixes.
Quaso refire being 20.5 seconds on a hot planet is insane. The spear/RR can fire 4-5 shots in that timeframe. GL buff barely puts it in the middle of the pack of primary AoE weapons. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s now hitting a few enemy specific breakpoints.
Patch is a huge step in the right direction and so much love. But they still need to debate how armor work on enemies as it's still kinda a**. Assault Rifles still suck so hard. If you pick a weapon that need to reload constantly on a limited ammo budget it need to perform hard. One magazine need to wreck small waves of enemies vs bugs to be valid. And have pretty good pen. We also need to be able to take down gunships with more weapons :P
I tested the spear just now, its so damn fast and accurate. I managed to shoot down a dropship close range and a fabricator strider in less than 10 sec. Ni locking issues
lets not forget they forgot about scythe, dagger and my good old liberator penetrator !!! at least double its ammo it will be a low damage, medium penetration and tons of ammo
eruptor is still not worth using... its far too slow and the only reason it was even viable was because it managed to one shot armored spewers. If it can't do that, then it makes no sense to give up a primary weapon for an incredibly slow firing five round weapon that leaves you without a way to defend yourself at close range.
I like it . Not as good as when it had Shrapnel but u can’t expect a primary weapon to be better than a support weapon . Primaries are for the most part all different and work well with certain loadouts
I used it earlier today and I killed a behemoth in 3 butt shots? The game isn't unplayable, I found that using the redeemer as a secondary was a good way to kill nearby hunters/brood commanders with ease.
Not every gun can be meta, run the grenade launcher or flamethrower if you want a great crowd control wep (for bugs anyways) The eruptor is totally viable even on the last patch where everyone was crying.
didnt the explosive trait allow to deal max damage to durable body parts, seem like more of a nerf to the Concussive Liberator's explosive trait to me, this also happened to the JR Dominator,( I cant cut devastators in half anymore).
AH over sold this patch, the dumb fun but slightly flawed game that was is gone for good, the visibility is still trash, the rocket ragdoll is way worse, the guns are still weak af or mid at best, spawns didn't really change besides more rockets, it's still way too sweaty for a pve game, patrols every 3 feet, my friends don't want to play anymore, and I'm kinda over it now.
Its clear to see from the buffs, that the purifier is not meant to be what i want it to be.. I wanted a lil baby quasar cannon. Maybe ambitious, but it wouldve been a nice trade off to have a primary good at dealing with devastators and hive guards, while suffering with small single targets. But the update makes it clear its meant to be a crowd wiper, which it isnt, because most bots wont be wiped out by the aoe, and the damage doesnt seem to be enough to clear a crowd of bugs chasing after you. This is REALLY the ONLY weapon that makes me sad, because i really want it to be good, but its just not, and i have no idea what they want it to be. Overall though, good update, nice balancing, i like the changes to the stratagems more but weapons buffs are always a plus.
I think it is a step in the right direction. They have said before that they want to thoroughly test stuff now before pushing it out, so my guess is that this seems like more of a band aid because they would rather push out a patch with long lasting effects than have to revert their content. I have a feeling that their goal is to have the game mostly fixed of their old mistakes by the holiday season.
Holiday season might be a looooong time. By the end of the summer they need to be back to it and they need to have fired the entire team responsible for balancing since launch.
I tested some of these changes already. Here is a brief summary of what I experienced for what I tested. Orbital Gattling, is definitely better, I can definitely feel the quicker cool down and its got a decent amount of shots before it quits firing. I caught an enemy patrol in a ravine and took out most of them with this. Strafing run feels weird and undeterministic. Not sure Ill use this but when it did hit it hit strong. Autocannon sentry and sentries in general does seem to have more staying power. Rocket pods strike definitely feels more accurate and that combined with the multiple uses and low cool down make it feel like in the right build it would be very helpful. I'm also not great with them but they did feel better than last time I used them. I could land the pod strat ball within 15 meters of an enemy and it would find them. Adjudicator is definitely better! I could definitely feel the more ammo difference for sure! Seems decent against the bots due to having more ammo. I feel like this is still better against bugs though. But I am really liking it! I found myself never quite running out of ammo which means the only improvement left I could see would be better handling or faster rate of fire or maybe better damage drop off. - Tenderizer. - Honestly I liked this better than the adjudicator it felt over all more balanced and might be my go too AR now. Nice power/ handling/damage balance. I think its a perfectly balanced gun as it is now. Felt great to me. I like that more oribtal strategems are useful now and I like that they are unlimited and more powerful. The gattling barrage I definitely see myself including a lot more now
You’re spot on . Scopes are also an improvement but the AMR scope feels wierd . I liked it before the patch but maybe I just need to adjust but spawns for bot patrols seem out of control now . Even worse than before . All sentries take and deal more damage it seems
@@Soleprofit559 i have a video clip of me getting swarmed on solo by 3 armies that came out of nowhere. This was on level 6. up til that point in the mission i was doing pretty good
Now that the orbital precision strike call in time is only 2 seconds it will basically be the best strategy to deal with bile titans now because if you bait them into an attack and you drop it in their feet and run away it will hit them faster or about at the same speed as a 500 kg bomb. The only difference being that it's hands down better because you got a new precision strike every 90 seconds plus the fact that every time it hits the bile titan it's a one shot unlike the kg bomb that can sometimes fail. Combine this in a build with the spear that can one shot The Titans with one shot to the head and you got a dedicated heavy clearer in the team.
They removed retrieve essential personnel? I gotta say I’m not happy for that. Scout armor with a grenade launcher, jetpack, orbital laser, and smoke stratagems really help for making this mission doable solo even on Helldive. Laser is to buy time once a breach happens, smoke is to cover the hostages, grenade launcher for scattering groups of chaff and medium armored enemies including devastators. Plus using a scorcher to hurt yourself while diving and then stimming yourself for that free unlimited stamina. Plus stun grenades and a localization scrambler. I do leave the base if I get overrun and that helps move away automatons from the facility, it’s much easier for the bugs to follow since they can’t really shoot other than their spewers. Then only re-entering the base after being more than 200 meters away while a bot drop or bug breach spawns outside the facility on my location and use that downtime to rescue the hostages while the breach or bot drop scrambles to search for me. It took practice but got it down after more than 8 times, you really gotta focus and keep track when a bot drop or bug breach happens and using that downtime to rescue the hostages as you run back to base using the jetpack and the amount of stamina you have. (My more honest opinion here if you don’t wanna read the above) I can’t believe they removed the mission, completing it solo on Helldive was a great way for me to say f*ck you to both automatons and bugs.
Bullcrap patch may have done a little but did NOTHING for anti-air. Quasar still nerfed and now there are gunship patrols you cannot stop (no towers) they show up 3 at a time every 2-3 minutes and there is no good way to take them out so team just gets murdered. Also gunships in eradicate missions
I'm disappointed that the Liberators did not get a magazine standardization to 45 rounds per magazine. when they released the Pummeler the reduced magazine capacity became anti-fun/player. also removing or lowering the AP value from explosions is how they ruined the patriate exosuits rockets and should never be done. they also didn't buff the durrable damage on the emancipator cannons to 100%.
i really like the AR buffs, i loved the Tenderizer and preferred it over the Liberator do to it's accuracy. So to know that they gave it a damage buff like I've wanted. Makes me happy. And to know that it deals more damage then the BR-14 is a breath of fresh air. But i also like how it doesn't mean one weapon is better then the other. If you want accuracy at the cost of penetration. You take the Tenderizer, if you want a bit more kick for extra penetration you pick the BR-14. I'd say it's a good balance that comes down to preference. I know i will be shifting between the 2 weapons quite a lot.
Idk why so many people are complaining. It is far from a perfect patch, but the balance changes have done nothing but improve the game. Many bugs should be fixed in follow-up patches, and there is still the new warbond. Many weapons are back to being useable, and the changes to how enemies spawn means that you can get more use out of your primaries in general. It has at least undone the damage of prior updates, and the smaller tweaks in gameplay should allow for a bit more variety in how missions can go.
This patch is awesome but just a step in the right direction. They heavily over hyped it. To me its 1/3rd of what i expected. Many many guns were untouched or buffed not nearly enough. Like the heavy MG and the ARs (The liberator penetrator is STILL onky 45 damage!? Wtf?! Wtf were they thinking?)
Dude, you and everybody else overhyped it when the devs had established that this isn't the cure-- so many people with high expectations don't have the well awareness to be so disappointed over a patch that has been said isn't the mother of all patches.
They broke the ballistic shield. If you get ragdolled while using it, you can't get up from crouch or prone anymore. I used that thing every single bot mission, now it makes the game unplayable. They also messed around with the AMR scope, and i'm not sure if that change makes it better or worse.
Not bad. Still more work needs to be done obviously, and we got a hint how hard it is to fix these problems (one fix bugged out another feature). Changes aren't just moving a slider, folks. And I see a few are upset over the Eruptor. Look, I like the gun too...however, the Eruptor is more a support weapon than a primary. A bolt-action rifle with exploding rounds is NOT something you take for rushing enemies, or if friendlies are close to your targets. It's meant for mid-long range fire only. Shrapnel made it especially deadly for Divers to the point firing at short range was suicide. It is a weapon that requires you to take a safer support weapon to balance it. So no I don't see sharpnel coming back because sharpnel is an effect. And sadly Divers aren't that safe with their guns.
i dont like how they nerfed the pummelers stunning on heavier enemies. The fact that it could stun lock chargers is the whole reason why i was using it, it has mediocre damage but that stun made it useful
Of course they nerfed it, it had an unique property that was good and added variety to the team play the devs so much want but seem hell bent on destroying.
Yeah I’m playing right now and everything feels better. And the Tenderizer is fuckin working dope now, I don’t know what this guy in the video is talking about.
Yeah just played a bug campaign and it’s totally sick, the weapons and everything feel a lot better. I’m using the new Liberator and it’s dope, taking out enemies quickly, and the shotgun secondary, bushwhacker is fucking sick too!!!
They buffed the weapons and enemy. That means nothings changed lmao!!! Ergo all i wish for is recoil buff. I been using the Liberator C since day one. Never had any issues other than accuracy with my reticle right on target.
One thing that makes me upset is just how they mentioned something along the lines of "Certain balance changes being reverted" (I.e the eruptor and explosive crossbow heavy nerf) but instead they just... increased damage? It makes me feel that whatever the CCO or CEO said to their dev team isnt applying to an extent, i cant see any difference.
Wemt into a mission and in an rng moment with the skinny robo I love to call terminators there was I around like 50, all I know is my game became full of red lasers. Oh and i really want the shrapnel back as the lower ammo and slower fire rate made sense for a strong weapon
Spawn rates are worse now . They were supposed to have less heavy armored enemies and more medium and small armor enemies but I’m still getting about the same if not more heavy armor enemies along with a ton of medium and small armor enemies . They don’t spawn around objectives as frequently but they are around every corner and open maps makes for harder escapes . They broke the spawn rates . Change it back arrowhead . It was more manageable before the patch
Some pretty good changes over all, I like what they did with the tenderizer, hmg and adjudicator. The spear works smoothly, but it still doesn't oneshot hulks, just why arrowhead? Also one big question, where war bond?
The Ballistic Shield is glitched. If you have it on you you cannot get up from crouch or prone. If you switch to your support weapon you cant even get up while standing still. It makes the shield unusable.
Tenderizer is absolutely busted now. Basically no recoil, outrageously high dps, dominates against bots. Between that and the HMG damage/stagger buff, Devastators practically don't exist now.
U playing difficulty 1 or what lmao. Then yeah I guess it's busted. Tenderizer is barely usable on difficulty 9, ammo drains incredibly fast with the 100s of enemies that come from bug breaches. It's an improvement for sure, just considered decent now. I'd rather still use a breaker incendiary, way more effective.

What's your thoughts on the weapon buffs? I thought here would be more but there is some good changes. Personally, I was expecting some changes to Sickle, Shotguns like Plasma for example. The tenderizer has seen a great buff and at the same has seen a mag / ammo nerf that was surprising to see. I love the update. We are getting there. Just need to see some more buffs for certain items.
The MP-98 knight basically is now a water gun compared to everything else.
Yeah strange update. It's good in some areas especially with the galactic war map. I was surprised to see the Tenderizer mag/ammo nerf'd.

They didn’t really “nerf” the Tenderizer, they just properly balanced it. Of course it isn’t going to have the mag capacity as something like the liberator; it’s niche in the sandbox is a punchier, more accurate assault rifle with an ammo trade off.
Yeah like they "properly balanced" everything else during the past two months. This patch is not bad but very meh in the weapons department.

Yep, all it needs is a recharge system instead of a hold n charge and it would be one of the top in game weapons.
It just FEELS horrid to use.

True and it's the wrong approach. The big enemies are fun to fight, we just needed better things to deal with them.
Yet they spawned 6 gunships and 3 factory striders on eradicate mission with all the other types of enemies as well.
Yeah, but we have a new gunship patrols now
I been playin all morning and patrols are actually worse now .
The Purifier still needs a miracle.

I think it's funny how they sneaked in a small nerf to the pummeler just in time for the new warbond.

I think they should make crossbow a secondary weapon instead. I mean who is using it over the incendiary breaker, the jar, or sickle? It's as good as the grenade pistol IMO, but the grenade pistol is better because it doesn't take up a primary slot.
They should make it one handed and give all ballistic shield users some more love. (Coming from an avid jump pack user. I love you, shield mains! ❤️)

The new scope alone made the Eruptor feel lot better but it also seems to have a very nice punch too.
As it stands right now, there just seems to be better alternatives:
Grenade pistol has a comparable fire rate with massively better handling and slightly more damage.
Why would you wear polar coat when it's hot outside? Same reason, just don't take energy weapons to planet where they overheat.
And have pretty good pen.

eruptor is still not worth using... its far too slow and the only reason it was even viable was because it managed to one shot armored spewers. If it can't do that, then it makes no sense to give up a primary weapon for an incredibly slow firing five round weapon that leaves you without a way to defend yourself at close range.
Well, you got your buff for it, either work around it or find something else.
I like it . Not as good as when it had Shrapnel but u can’t expect a primary weapon to be better than a support weapon . Primaries are for the most part all different and work well with certain loadouts
I used it earlier today and I killed a behemoth in 3 butt shots? The game isn't unplayable, I found that using the redeemer as a secondary was a good way to kill nearby hunters/brood commanders with ease.

didnt the explosive trait allow to deal max damage to durable body parts, seem like more of a nerf to the Concussive Liberator's explosive trait to me, this also happened to the JR Dominator,( I cant cut devastators in half anymore).

Tenderizer feels like a buff
I think it is a step in the right direction. They have said before that they want to thoroughly test stuff now before pushing it out, so my guess is that this seems like more of a band aid because they would rather push out a patch with long lasting effects than have to revert their content. I have a feeling that their goal is to have the game mostly fixed of their old mistakes by the holiday season.
Holiday season might be a looooong time. By the end of the summer they need to be back to it and they need to have fired the entire team responsible for balancing since launch.
@@CozySER That's an opinion on this. Wouldn't say it's a good one, but it is an opinion.
Tenderizer.
I'm just afraid that it'll be too good, causing Arrowhead to nerf or tweak it, causing the usual Balance Babies to throw a tantrum.
ARROWHEAD!!! GIVE THE (VERDICT) DEAGLE MEDIUM ARMOR PEN AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!! 🙏😭
The recoiless rifle / launcher also got stealth nerfed. It reloads way slower now.
WAT by how much?
@matthewsteele99 No idea, but if I had to guess, it's slower by 25-30%.
Arrowhead has confirmed that isn't an intended nerf
Hey Glitch Unlimited just FYI your Spear was not loaded. Thanks for the content man!
(My more honest opinion here if you don’t wanna read the above)
I can’t believe they removed the mission, completing it solo on Helldive was a great way for me to say f*ck you to both automatons and bugs.
Sounds to me like you overhyped your self.
Dude, you and everybody else overhyped it when the devs had established that this isn't the cure-- so many people with high expectations don't have the well awareness to be so disappointed over a patch that has been said isn't the mother of all patches.
Balance Babies are so hard to please.
@@enigma9273 yes. "We are fixing ARs". They buffed tenderizer and gave 5 extra bullets to the adjudicator.
Sure, I over hyped myself.
They broke the ballistic shield.
If you get ragdolled while using it, you can't get up from crouch or prone anymore.
I used that thing every single bot mission, now it makes the game unplayable.
They also messed around with the AMR scope, and i'm not sure if that change makes it better or worse.
I honestly like it for other weapons with scopes but not for AMR . I missed a ton of shots today . Maybe just need to adjust to it
The crossbow is great for sniping bot fabs now to be honest
Pilestedt wasn't watching the balance team when they got to the Tenderizer, so they still managed to nerf it
Has anyone notice the eagles are bugged and the big floating purple Question marks?
Seemed like the regular eagle airstrike was randomly less impactful than it usually is, but maybe it’s just all in my head.
cross bow adjustment is welcome. i use it as primary and for close range combat i use auto pistol. its not that bad.
0:54 l like how you couldn’t lock on titan when you didn’t reload the spear
It's very much just a 'slider' to make these changes.
i dont like how they nerfed the pummelers stunning on heavier enemies. The fact that it could stun lock chargers is the whole reason why i was using it, it has mediocre damage but that stun made it useful
Of course they nerfed it, it had an unique property that was good and added variety to the team play the devs so much want but seem hell bent on destroying.
@silitlonbono3196 was overall better than the regular version
And i dont think rifles and smg are supposed to stagger charger ot even heavy units
@@sillonbono3196another baby😮💨 it's a shame
Using it wrong then
Kinda dissapointed but I haven't played it yet so I'm trying to with hold judgment until I play.
Yeah I’m playing right now and everything feels better. And the Tenderizer is fuckin working dope now, I don’t know what this guy in the video is talking about.
Kinda disappointed, but I haven't played it yet. Then how can you be disappointed? You just passed judgement, lol
Stalwart needs to be a primary again
Why?
@@ActNasty5 it was before and now, as a stratagem, there's almost no reason to take it.
@@justanotheropossumchannel i disagree. I think its great with the jar, grenade pistol, 500kg and either shield or jump pack
Does ANYONE know how to update your skin tone on the new War Bond like shown in the trailer?
It's random with every spawn to show that every helldiver is different and expendable
Spear does one shot hulks
It just depends where it hit
its never going to one shot hulks.
@@enigma9273it literally does

They said that they are actively trying to resolve it, so hopefully soon :)
i stil think ar"s stil needs a buuf on ammo capacity atleast 40.... 30 is so low
30 is the standard ammo of ar
35, 40, 45 if your lucky to change it in the military
Also bigger ammo results is less bullets ina mag
@@陈凯文-n1hI agree and if not at least damage for all ARs should be 75-90 .
@Soleprofit559 i mean tenderizer and bare minimum the adjudicator has 80 but med pen with all ar durable dmg buff
I wish they gave us back the old slugger.
The Ballistic Shield is glitched. If you have it on you you cannot get up from crouch or prone. If you switch to your support weapon you cant even get up while standing still. It makes the shield unusable.
Wait srsly?
Man...
0:58 it wasnt bugged.
You didnt reload the Spear 😐
Tenderizer is absolutely busted now. Basically no recoil, outrageously high dps, dominates against bots.
Between that and the HMG damage/stagger buff, Devastators practically don't exist now.
U playing difficulty 1 or what lmao. Then yeah I guess it's busted. Tenderizer is barely usable on difficulty 9, ammo drains incredibly fast with the 100s of enemies that come from bug breaches. It's an improvement for sure, just considered decent now. I'd rather still use a breaker incendiary, way more effective.
@@TheRealName7 oh look, a bug player.
Opinion irrelevant.

@@Colonel-Sigmalol . Tenderizer is the sh** now . I never used it when it came out and been using the tenderizer and adjudicator all day
