Whether his recruiting translates to success or not, I guess we’ll see. I’d be disappointed with a 6-6 year just because I bought season tickets and them things were expensive😂

@donovan8494 there are several head coaches in the sec who has accumulated double digit wins everywhere they've been. Hugh isn't anything special no different from the other coaches. I also don't know anything about how hugh is going to do at auburn. A bunch of years have passed since he has been in the sec. It's not the same football and players have evolved teams have got better on a consistent basis. So hugh will be stepping into a different era of football than he did when he was at ole miss. Me personally I think it's going to be alot difficult for him to be successful at auburn than at ole miss. Hugh had 3 years to turn ole miss into a 10 win team. Auburn will want a championship by year 2 if not he's out the door. So I don't see him having much success at auburn too much pressure to win in a short amount of time.
Just relax and enjoy the beginning of another season of the greatest sport on Earth. It's okay to be optimistic in preseason. I promise you this- at this point, it helps absolutely NOBODY relevant to be negative. If you get off on negativity, then I guess it helps one person...War Eagle

When it was stated by players a while back that Thorne had been voted to the leadership council they have, I suspected it would be him.
This could be better for Robby. If Thorne has a decent to good year, he may opt for the draft. Robby is still young and in the position to learn the offense from a system stand point and he could go into next season as the starting qb. Holden would be the guy to replace at the end of the season.
Thorne couldn't make to to peewee football again
All QBs need to be ready, mentally and physically. Anything can happen. TJ Finley wasn't ready when Bo Nix got injured and it showed.

Kirby Smart coached under Saban for 10 years and should know him and his teams and play styles very well yet has only beaten him once out of 4. @@paulshears5202 You aren't an Alabama fan. Go look at Freeze's record vs SEC teams and vs Ranked teams. They both suck. Malzahn had a better record in both categories. Auburn fans hyping up a worse coach than Malzahn. Freeze is 19-21 versus SEC teams. Freeze is 10-11 versus ranked teams. Sit down Auburn fan.
@@paulshears5202 I was actually wrong it was worse for Freeze when I looked. He is 15-20 versus ranked teams. Very Happy he is Auburn's new coach. Going to keep them in the Middle of the SEC.

Prayers for those families. It's never easy to say goodbye to our family. I pray they knew God and are in heaven! I pray for these kids and their families and that God will bless all of them in special ways! I pray for the coaches and the staff and that God will give them direction and clarity. God, please grant them all with your grace and love and mercy and lift them all up to see your glory and power! I still pray for caddy, and that God will continue to lead him down a righteous path and God will guide him where he wants him to be. Yes they did call Nick Saban that his first year. Because he had actually won something Freeze hasn't.
@@phillipivey4833 yes he lost to Auburn that year. If Nick didn’t have access to bought off Pro players for his tenure, he would be just an average coach. Maybe we will see parody of talent before he bails and see how he fairs against equal prowess. He has a huge head start.

I like the wittiness and quick snap back responses from Coach Freeze. He’s our version of Nick Saban for sure. I know he has game plans up his sleeve so take everything he says with a grain of salt cause the media is ruining things nowadays.
