    I got the BSV2 pro 2023 6 months ago and so far I'm loving it. The best part is I got for $120 used like new condition on amazon and when I opened the box everything was still sealed up and if you ask me that's a steal. Great video man!

      @@TheTechTankI am on my 3rd pair (as of today) The last two broke within 6 months and it’s the exact same problem.. The yoke is not designed to last! It’s very very bad, also the ear cups are non-detachable so they start to smell after a while and you can’t do anything about it, First time owning a headset without detachable ear cups :/ I love the headset but I wish it was designed to last, 6 months is pathetic

    6 month review. The sound and mic quality are great on this headset. The range is decent. The build is clean and comfortable, but this is my second pair that has broken within 6 months. The build and design look amazing but the entire structural integrity relies on 2 weak plastic clips below the headrest, once they even slightly break the headphones are uncomfortable and a pain to use

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  Месяц назад

      @@kurokaen1234 Hmm, interesting question. I'd personally remove the mic whenever I go out and wouldn't be worried about the port getting damaged from plugging and unplugging. However if I did take the headset out with the mic attached, I might be worried that accidentally bending the shaft part too far or too often might damage the wire inside or something - though I think that's pretty unlikely since it seems pretty sturdy. Either way I wouldn't be too worried about it.

  • @preka
    @preka 2 месяца назад +1

    Just fyi: On the blackshark V1, the headband wires are the same wires holding the cups on. The band wires extend through the bracket to the cups, and it's super durable. On the V2, this is not the case. The wires holding the cups are separate from the wires in the band, and the plastic bracket is the only thing holding them together. It absolutely *will* break.

      Thanks man! I can't really give a personal opinion on the Pulse Elite since I've never tried it, but based on the product specifications alone, the V2 Pro seems to have more to offer, especially in the mic and battery department (as well it should since it normally costs quite a bit more than the Pulse). I see reviewers claiming durability issues with both headsets which is a little concerning, but as long as you buy them with a warranty, I wouldn't be too worried. Hopefully someone else with more experience using Sony gear can jump in to help us out here!

    So is it just luck based if you get a pair that has good audio quality or not?
    Mine are crap. The audio sound so muffled I put them back in the box after 20 minutes. My v2 X sounds better and I have them for multiple years now. Its hard to believe newer gens are worse, so it must be just a gamble to get a good pair.
    Btw. The reason I comment under this video is because its the most recent I can find. Im wondering if the problem lies with just mine or if its the headset in general.

    • @rosmahka
      @rosmahka Месяц назад

      The quality is just cheeks by default, I have an older pair. I was honestly quite shocked at how much of a downgrade this headset was audio quality wise considering I paid like 100 bucks more than my last headset, which sounded so much better. The way I pretty much "fixed" the bad quality is by playing with the EQ (dont use the synapse one, I use equalizer apo with peace interface). Plugging in the 3.5 also makes the sound a little bit better, but you didn't buy a wireless headset to use it wired, so there's that.
      But hey, atleast the headset is comfortable for me.

Their software causes all sorts of connection issues with their keyboards and mice. I've bought 3 other headsets from them over the years and all broke within a year. Now for context I'm 36, and all of these products were used in a office setting without any travel. About as gentle of a life "gaming" hardware could have hoped to experience. I had a few problems with it. According to some Amazon reviews, some units have reportedly broken from normal use. It wasn't particularly comfortable for me (big head or ear issue I guess). It has a more "bright" sound signature - not a problem, but not my preference. Price is great when discounted, not so much when full price. And one or two others I can't remember right now.
