    Thats the nice one! I have always hardwired them because the plug setup that you got is so expensive. Also if you angle the plug down, the water will not sit in it.

    Remove the little cover on the left side of the fuse panel under the hood, that’s where those relays go, it should work.

    The local parts store sells electrical connector cleaner spray, and then get some dielectric grease and apply it to the connectors, and even when you plug into the 7 way.

    Personally, I would find a trailer to hook up to and just see if everything works; turn signals and brake lights. You won't be able to test brakes until you have installed a brake controller. If all works fine, just keep the relays and fuses as spares. Also, there is another relay box up under the dash. It is toward the drivers side middle. It is super difficult to access and you mostly have to go by feel when changing the relay. It is for your turn signals. I had to upgrade my turn signal relay when I changed my lights to LED and it was a pain the ass to swap out that relay.

    • @NoHalfAss
      @NoHalfAss  3 года назад

      That’s a good idea bro!! Having spares will be nice too. I already have a brake controller installed but have never tested it. It was already on the truck when I bought it. Lol
      Thanks for the suggestions and info!

    Flush mount would look better in my opinion and you could put a rubber o-ring or make silicone under the little flap to keep water out

    • @NoHalfAss
