Not really. The show took a huge blow with Ziva's departure and completely lacks the true NCIS feeling since Tony Dinozzo left. Gibbs, and to a lesser extent McGee, are just the remains.

Abby and Gibbs didn't get along off screen. She was terrified of the way he treated her. It got so bad that she refused to do any scenes with him. If you notice in season 15 they didn't share anytime together on the screen.
I agree, I think they could have found a better replacement for Abby-although no one can replace her 💔 No disrespect to the actor who plays kasey. But she’s just not the right fit
Do some research on it on RUclips. Harmon had a rescue pitbull that attacked a crew member on the face which needed 15 stitches. Pauly Perrette was the only cast member who had the guts to challenge Harmon on it. He created an unsafe workplace.
Mark Harmon may not have been the first choice for the lead, but he was certainly the BEST!! I think that if Mark Harmon left the show, the only way it would survive is if Tony and Ziva came back - with Tali of course - with Tony taking over Gibbs' role. I would love to see Gabby come back. She just added a little quirkiness to the show.
I think if Abby, Zia & Dinozo were to return to the show then combined with McGee NCIS could continue for a while without Gibbs. But in its current state if Harmon left then the show probably wouldn’t last without Gibbs.
Since NCIS NOLA had canceled, maybe Pride could replace Gibbs, who could continue to be part of the team via occasional phone call from his basement. Gibbs could be seen if & when Harmon chooses.

The show will end with Gibbs, he's the one that started it all. He's the main character and the one that has always been there. The show started with Kate, Tony, Ducky, Abby and Gibbs. Kate died, Tony and Abby left and Ducky is barely there anymore. But throughout everything Gibbs has been there for it all, without him the show just loses everything.

While I would have to see Gibbs leave, it could be interesting, depending on who they bring in. Maybe if Ziva were to take over? or Tony? Maybe shake things up a lot and have McGee leave as well, bring in a new rookie and a new lead, maybe someone from Gibbs's past? He could be to that character what Mike Franks was for him. Could be interesting.
Loved NCIS - after Cote left things changed a lot, I continued to watch because of Michael but I felt he was wasted and Bishop was the new name (afraid I found her very annoying). When Michael left I stopped watching and it was only when I heard Cote was coming back I purchased Seasons 16 and 17 to see how things were going. I did watch all the episodes from each season but was not impressed at all. Apart from the four episodes Cote appeared in and which I enjoyed, I felt the show had no substance left at all. I always liked McGee but he was never going to be a leader and even Gibbs was a shadow of his old self, Bishop will never replace Ziva the show just doesn't work anymore which is such a shame. I still watch seasons 1 - 13 from time to time and really enjoy them, also the real characters that made INCS great.
I left with the "Super Special Agent". Now it's just for the money. The only substantive fork of NCIS left is NCIS LA. New Orleans was lost the day "Brody" left.

There was only a working relationship between her and Harmon. I believe it was jealousy; Gibbs made much more money than the others and they wanted what they considered to be their fair share. When they didn't get it, they left. The rift between her and Mark was about the dog incident.

Not much new information here. You missed Zac Efron as a young punk. Gibbs character has gone so dark and his 'humor' comes across as bullying. Lost interest fast after season 7. Gibbs is about 14 years past the mandatory retirement for field agents. He should have been pushed upstairs into SAIC or Asst. Director at least instead of still leading the field team. I have no interest in watching McGee as Team Leader.
I don't know... haven't been much of a Gibbs fan after the whole thing with Pauley Perret.. The last scene filmed separately had Abby outside on the street, and there were dogs barking... I have a suspicion the barking dog thing was an FU to her by Harmon... can't prove it but seems probable. I would continue to watch the show without him, at least for awhile, to see where it goes.

I stopped watching several years ago after Michael left. I have no desire to watch any prime time television show. I'd rather watch the old programs like Columbo or Gunsmoke. Also Harmon is probably getting tired, he is going to be 71 years old this year and they have him doing all that active scenes. Just my opinion.

Kate dying really hurt but we got Ziva after and I meshed well. Losing Ziva felt forced. Minda ya I am not caught up for the last couple seasons. I always Felt like the show was gibbs passing the torch eventually to Tony. When he left, I was not happy. He made the show for me more than anyone else. Bishop was a welcome character. But I really didn't like her relationship choice after her husband. Always felt like the tease of her and Gibbs would have been far more interesting. Those two got chemistry. The 3 new team member that were added after Tony left never sat well. The only one I liked was the British guy. The girl came and went and to this day I don't even know her name. The guy who clearly was the new Tony fails bad. Hes not intimidating at all, and bro sounds like Fez. No one who sounds like that could pull off a macho role. Last episode I watched was when Abby left. Gibbs ran out of interesting story seasons ago. Tim is great, as is Bishop, but there's nothing left worth watching. Show really took a dive once Tony was gone. Some day I will catch up but the little bit I do see from time to time as titles on vids or just in the wind doesn't give me much hope it will get back to where it worked for me.

NCIS HAWAII was great. Writers for all shows are the best. Quality. Just awesome writting didnt stoop to unbearable filth, or language unbearable. Just awesome writting. Great stories. Love those guys so far so good.

Mark Harmon will end up the "Director" of NCIS when Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) runs for and is elected to a seat in the U.S. Senet. NCIS is one of those shows that is fun to watch. It's an adult show that's done in good taste. It's not nasty. The new NCIS Hawaii seems like a spin off of Hawaii 5 "O"/ Magnum P. I. with characters that are out of place and have no chemistry. Even the name didn't seem to belong. Shouldn't the show have been called "NCIS Pearl Harbor,"?. I could have done better. O well, that's why I'm a retired P.G.
We used to watch NCIS but lost interest in the 5th season. We just started from the begining and are now in the 4th season. Either I didn't know or didn't remember that M. Obama did a guest appearance. What a way to cheapen an episode. I can't stand it when a show brings a famous albeit horribe person on as a guest. I'll skip that episode.

NCIS HAWAII was great. Writers for all shows are the best. Quality. Just awesome writting didnt stoop to unbearable filth, or language unbearable. Just awesome writting. Great stories.

Yes it will be different without Gibbs but they are great actors and the show wil be fine I just think it maybe it will not go oké because a lot of fans don't like Gibbs leaving and saying they will stop watching the show

Mark Harmon will end up the "Director" of NCIS when Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll) runs for and is elected to a seat in the U.S. Senet. NCIS is one of those shows that is fun to watch. It's an adult show that's done in good taste. It's not nasty. The new NCIS Hawaii seems like a spin off of Hawaii 5 "O"/ Magnum P. I. with characters that are out of place and have no chemistry. Even the name didn't seem to belong. Shouldn't the show have been called "NCIS Pearl Harbor,"?. I could have done better. O well, that's why I'm a retired P.G.

We used to watch NCIS but lost interest in the 5th season. We just started from the begining and are now in the 4th season. Either I didn't know or didn't remember that M. Obama did a guest appearance. What a way to cheapen an episode. I can't stand it when a show brings a famous albeit horribe person on as a guest. I'll skip that episode.
