    A master at work. If you haven't checked out his website and are looking for leather goods do yourself a favor and look at what Mascon Leather has. You will not regret it! I like the new intro too. Looks great!

    That was a fun and simple one. Artie, before stitching and all the edge finishing, could you wet the leather and pre-mold the tray over a piece of wood. Seems that might help the shape instead of just folding it over a ruler. Just an apprentice asking the master. Give a scratch to Chloe for me. Cheers. Tom

    Another awesome video Artie. Would we need to skive channels on the flesh side of each piece before we glue and sew? or is that overthinking it?

      Thanks for the comment. For rhis style I don’t do channels. But in my 10oz+ I do v gouge the folds.

    Hello from the swamp in South Carolina.
    I have watched most of your videos and I see the "it's not mayonnaise " that burnish the rough side with. You mentioned that it was covered in one video, but I can't find it. Help me out. If it's not a trade secret, what is it?

    can it be done without the wrinkles?

      My single layer trays (10 oz) have no wrinkles because I put a v gouge in the fold. So yes. But the wrinkles are part of the charm here.
