That was more like 5 bucks worth of product on that lid considering its $19.99 for the product and you don't get much.😂 If you look at the bottom of it you can see it's a tiny jar fitted into a larger jar plastic to make the product look like it's more. The camille rose chebe deep conditioning mask packaging is the same. If you were to cut the bottom out to get the "real" container hiding the product inside once you see how small it is you be scratching your head. But the products are great! The curl milk , algae renew deep conditioner, Almond jai Twisting butter, the morrocain conditioner, & the cocoa nibs and honey ultimate strength serum are my favorite OH & the honey Hydrate leave in!!! ❤
Quick tip for any low porosity hair types out there, after styling put on a plastic cap & sit under a hooded dryer the same way you would for a deep conditioner 😁
Never tried this but I'm definitely willing to give it a shot. I don't have a hooded dryer, would love to get one though. You think it would work that same for the things you put on your head and connect to the dryer? I know hooded dryers come in clutch, especially for setting styles and cutting down on dry time. Thank for the tip 😊
I use a plastic cap and scarf every night right before bedtime and leave in overnight. I do this every single night. It helps the products to penetrate the hair shaft due to the extra moisture from the scalp and wearing the plastic cap. No need to sit under a hooded dryer for me lol.

I'll suggest you do deep conditioner first before rinse out conditioner. You'll see the difference. I'll also suggest you watch moknowshair on conditioners. It will help. Also, the three twisting butter were not created equally. If you go through their ingredient list, you'll realise that Aloe is supposed to be like a curl cream while the rest are moisturising butter because water is the first ingredient while emollients and butter and conditioners came first before humectants, unlike aloe that has film-forming humectant as the second ingredient. Your result at the end of the day will depend on a lot of variables like the weather, handling, environment if you followed the manufacturers instructions etc.
Thanks for the input. I usually only deep condition my hair on wash day, but I wanted to try the conditioner. I did follow up with the algae deep conditioner after I rinsed out the pear conditioner; I really did enjoy the results. Definitely agree the butters were not created equally, even so I wanted to try the butter gel and see how it would do on my hair. The aloe gel states it can be used to set styles (a light hold, but a hold) which is why I wanted to see how it would hold my twist. Didn't give me the results I was looking for however, when I used it on my daughters hair, her results were a firmer hold, with amazing definition. Yes results vary and the things you stated can have an effect due to differing variables. I usually twist my hair using the same method, so when I didn't get the results I desired I believe the butter gel just isn't for me when twisting my hair. Thank for checking out the video ☺️
I part my hair in 4's and use butterfly clips to pin them up and then shampoo each section by first undoing the twist, cleanse my scalp and use the praying hands to run the shampoo onto my hair strands and finger detangle that section, clip that section back up and move onto the next section, then rinse each section individually after cleaning and rinsing each section clip it back up. Doing it this way keeps my hair from tangling and has been very effective.
Usually my twist don't fail me when washing but this time they got so tangled!! I did switch over to using sections and surprisingly I liked it (I didn't used to). I have to update my wash day routine. Thanks for checking out the video and dropping a gem to help me out 😊

Thanks! You reviewed 3 products I will probably buy and try. The ginger rinse stripped my hair with one shampoo, I love the slip and hydration I got from the Algae deep renew deep conditioning mask, for a leave-in the curl love moisture milk was just ok. For a styler, I used the curl maker moisture gel and I was not satisfied. I will probably buy and try the pear conditioner, curlaide or the butter next time.
Thanks for checking out the video. 😊 Glad most of the products have worked out for you. I've heard mixed reviews on the curl maker some love it some say it isn't up to par. I prefer to use it for wash n' gos but I have to make sure I use plenty of water because I get the best results that way. If you try anything else I'd love to hear about it. 💛

Beautiful results I didn’t think the curlaid had hold like that .I haven’t tried the aloe whipped gel in a twist out by itself I’ve always paired it with the curl maker . That combo gave my curls for the whole week . But I still like the almond jai twisting butter better.
Thanks for watching! ☺️ How do you like to use the curlaide? I haven't tried the coconut water line, I'll give it a try. How do you like to use the setter?
@@bripitts1231 I like both of them they are super moisturizing, the curl setter is a little bit lighter then the curlaide, I put an oil on top and have 7 days of moisturized hair.

Hey thanks for checking out my video!! Honestly I have no idea, due to lack of experience in the waving department. 😅Both CR products are very light, especially compared to the SM curl smoothie. Thanks for watching 😌 I usually keep a mixture of jojoba, avocado, olive, grape-seed and black castor oil/ Jamaican black castor oil in a jar and use this mixture as a sealant. Hope this helps 💖
You can, depends on the method you'd like to use. For example I used the LCO method. L=Liquid (usually water)/Leave In (conditioner) C=Cream (styling cream or hair butter) O=Oil (I prefer a thicker oil like Jamaican Black Castor Oil mixed with a few others ) Some prefer to use the same method just in a different order LOC (the Oil in this method usually tends to be thinner like Argan oil ). Overall depends on what your hair likes and your hair porosity. Porosity usually plays a major role in how your hair responds to product. The main goal is to slow down moisture loss in the hair, so you just may find a completely different method that works for you. Hope this helps ☺️💕

@Ashley I'm so sorry your going through a rough patch with you hair, I know it can be frustrating, overwhelming and discouraging. The good part is hair grows back, and can be redeemed, and change for the better, this isn't permanent! 😊 If I were you I'd put down the protein for a while. Find some moisturizing products, because I believe you're experiencing protein overload. Protein is good for the hair because it is what our hair is made of and is used to strengthen our hair. Too much will cause the hair strands to become brittle and break off. Moisturizing products will help the hair soften and when you're deep conditioning with heat it can open the hair shaft so that the moisture can penetrate. If by mixing products you mean brands, yes you can. I do it all the time because I may want something from a product in a different line. If you mean mixing products ie you are layering then that is a yes as well. The main thing I'd worry about is if you are putting a gel based product with a cream based product. You can do the hand test. Take a small amount, of each product, put it on the back of your hand and mix them together. If they blend well then it's pretty safe to go for it. 👍🏾 If they start to clump or separate then it's safe to say it's a no go. 🙅🏾♀️ Here's a couple of product recommendations: Shampoo- Texture ID Coils line shampoo; it doesn't strip the hair completely but will still give you a good cleanse. Co-Wash -if you feel like your hair doesn't have product build up but you want to cleanse and moisturize. As I am has some good Cowash. The Mane Choice 3 in 1 Revitalize and refresh can be used as a Cowash. Conditioner/Deep Conditioner- Texture ID original conditioner, Camille Rose algae renew conditioner, Shea Moisture Manuka and honey conditioner, TGIN honey mask, Miche beauty indulge (my favorite as of now) Aussie 3 minute miracle moist conditioner, Melanin hair care conditioner Good moisture treatment to try is an aloe Vera mask. I use for detangling as well Leave ins- Camille Rose moisture milk, Texture id conditioner can be used as a leave as well, As I am JBCO leave, as well as the As i am regular leave in, Mane choice 3 in one, Mielle Organics moisture milk, Melanin Hair care conditioner Styling products- Camille Rose Almond Jai, Camille Rose Aloe Butter, as I am twist cream, as I am double butter, texture Id styling cream, Miche beauty quench twist cream. Melanin hair care twist cream Hope this helps 🥰😘

You can do the hand test. Take a small amount, of each product, put it on the back of your hand and mix them together. If they blend well then it's pretty safe to go for it. 👍🏾
If they start to clump or separate then it's safe to say it's a no go. 🙅🏾♀️
Here's a couple of product recommendations:
Shampoo- Texture ID Coils line shampoo; it doesn't strip the hair completely but will still give you a good cleanse.
Co-Wash -if you feel like your hair doesn't have product build up but you want to cleanse and moisturize. As I am has some good Cowash. The Mane Choice 3 in 1 Revitalize and refresh can be used as a Cowash.
Conditioner/Deep Conditioner- Texture ID original conditioner, Camille Rose algae renew conditioner, Shea Moisture Manuka and honey conditioner, TGIN honey mask, Miche beauty indulge (my favorite as of now)
Aussie 3 minute miracle moist conditioner, Melanin hair care conditioner
Good moisture treatment to try is an aloe Vera mask. I use for detangling as well
Leave ins- Camille Rose moisture milk, Texture id conditioner can be used as a leave as well,
As I am JBCO leave, as well as the As i am regular leave in, Mane choice 3 in one, Mielle Organics moisture milk, Melanin Hair care conditioner
Styling products- Camille Rose Almond Jai, Camille Rose Aloe Butter, as I am twist cream, as I am double butter, texture Id styling cream, Miche beauty quench twist cream. Melanin hair care twist cream
Hope this helps 🥰😘
