Very nice tour of Hawkesbury. I've crossed the interprovincial bridge many, many times on my way to Quebec. Lachute, Quebec is only about 40 min. from Hawkesbury and is an interesting town as well. I usually take a road that follows the Ottawa River (right turn after the bridge) and then take a side road to St. Phillipe. Lachute is not long after that. If you want a longer trip, continue through Lachute and take 329 into the Laurentian Mountains. In about 30 min. you are in Morin Heights, a village with a blend of old and new. It has a lovely little park by a small river.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experiences! It's great to hear that you've crossed the interprovincial bridge many times and that you find Lachute, Quebec, to be an interesting town. Your suggested route along the Ottawa River sounds delightful, and I appreciate the tip about taking a side road to St. Phillipe and the option to continue on to the Laurentian Mountains. Morin Heights sounds like a charming place to explore as well. I'll definitely keep these recommendations in mind for future trips. Thanks for watching and for your valuable insights!
