Derek. Have you ever reviewed the Main Street Station Tuesday night Prime Rib and scampi buffet? If not will you do so in the near future. Thanks buddy. Love the videos.
Derek, google "This is fine" it's the meme with the dog wearing a hat drinking coffee sitting casually in a burning house--thats you at Excalibur buffet
Agreed with Derek for sure. This buffet is perfectly fine if it’s comped. I usually visit it to get some substance in me. Would not pay/go out of my way for it.
The Excalibur is the best bang for your buck in Vegas! Excellent food, friendly staff - Stayed here twice already and I would not hesitate staying here again! And I usually put butter on my spaghetti noodles *before* I add in the sauce, not after - but make sure the noodles are hot so the butter melts into the noodles
I went twice last month on Sunday brunch and Monday weekday brunch. I love Sunday brunch because of the unlimited mimosa. Food is ok my favorite is the oatmeal, crepes station and delicious bread pudding with ice cream. Can't complaint when it's free, redeemed my loyalty points.
As soon as I saw the bright green jello it just reminded me of the Vegas Vacation film. There looked to be a lack of veg and potatoes to go with the meat, and not really enough of any one cuisine to make up a plate. I just can’t do a buffet plate with tons of different cuisines on it. Dessert looked to be the saving grace! At least it was quiet. Stay calm, everything is FINE 😂
"Quiet" is an understatement......the place was DEAD. (not to mention filthy & way understaffed) Not a good sign for any food establishment. Derek was being overly generous in calling this place "FINE." Maybe he meant the hotel should be FINED for lack of effort and mediocre cleanliness.
I so agree. I live in the greater Houston area, and for a buffet like that, I wouldn't be paying more than $12-$15. However, I wouldn't even pay that much for it. The food is too generic. May as well just to go a Chinese restaurant OR Chipotle OR KFC.

@@celestialexis : Hey, I had to look up Mizzithra cheese so I'm obviously not all that knowledgeable. But it sounds great to me. I LOVE cheese. I also do quickie substitutions in a pinch but since I enjoy cooking I like to spend some time and gather fresh ingredients. So.....since you say you may try my suggestion let me take it a step further just because this is my all time favorite pasta dish...... Sauté a small shallot, a couple of mushrooms, garlic to taste, a peeled & diced Roma tomato, a spoonful of capers. Add butter & cream. cook til slightly thickened. Then, separately, sauté a bit of seafood of your choice, (I like shrimp, scallops, salmon or a mix) & pour a swig of flaming brandy over the seafood and sauté until the flame dies down .
