I will be purchasing V6........ the lighting issues appear to have being resolved back in September and I love the new look as well as the new way to update P3D.
Hello, Would you tell me plz, Are you running FS 2020 or Flight Sim X. For additionally do you have PMDG 747 Queen of Sky for Prepar3D and + Expansion Pack and also LM P3D v6 program?
Flight Simmers the P3D v6 is one of the future Simulation. LH P3D v6 is started to working out lot of thinks behind the stage, which is take time to presenting to Simmers. I'm old Flight Simmer back than 90'x (DOS v.) and different between 90's and 24's MSFS have huge different. IF you look at the big picture, the P3D have different approach to Flight Simmers. Also the financing is different between MSFS and LM (Lockheed Martin) P3D. Whatever is wrong or right, the Simmers expectation is comparing with MSFS. The other think is P3D presenting HIGH REALISTIC Simulation and it is more flight School.
The cockpit lighting is terrible in the PMDG. Also a lot could be done to improve aerodynamics now. How much programming that would take is something I can’t judge.
Hi I was wondering if the lcd displays in the plane work for you as they don’t for me same with the EFIS. You can set lcd displays by going to fmc - pmdg - aircraft - displays - lcd
Unfortunately P3D has again made a release that breaks compatibility with a lot of previous aircraft and sceneries. I feel this is the final death knell, v5 worked and they should have kept developing that. Turning off HDR may help with the dark flight deck.
Hi. Indeed, I also don’t understand what V6 is really all about. As far as I am aware there isn’t a menu item anymore where you can simply switch HDR off.
@@Blackbox711 I had a similar issue in v5 with the dark flightdeck and I solved it by entering this under the [GRAPHICS] section of the cfg. Perhaps it would help in v6 too? MAX_EXPOSURE=3.000000 MIN_EXPOSURE=1.000000
I'm long time MSFS owner for each released program started with DOS v. in 1990. However, it is need new challenge. I just bought P3D v6 and I have not get chance to install it, and because I have the same consideration. The v^ just came out and the LM P3D v6 is so young there is not much information on the internet and not even in RUclips. After many search on the internet, + contact with PMDG support and P3D forum. The P3D forum respond was it is working with v6. I not that much professional but personally I started to invest, so I think soon will be many thinks (mean programs, aircrafts) will come out. The v6 program have the own "Active Sky P3D v6, the newest weather engine in the Active Sky line!". My opinion is Lockheed Martin P3D v6 in the future what MSFS 2020 do not have, and each have some unrich thinks why we like it. The point is, search around before you make any decision. Hope this is help for you. Thanks, PS; One think is sure, P3D is lot more RALISTIC from FS20 aircraft. Good simple is PMDG 737 aircraft.
I appreciate it to see streamers enjoying P3D.
I certainly do
I think the clouds looking much better than in previous version
NIce B747-400 stream. Thanks!
Thank you very much

Yep, some improvements noticeable. A shame not many aircraft addon makers are making their products officially work with V6.
Completing the stream I couldn’t finish watching live.
Cheers 👍🏼

Neither day or night, the look still dark.

PMDG said that it’d take a lot to get their products to work for V6, but it seems like they work fine! Any thoughts?

@@Blackbox711 Ok! Thanks for the response!
They are busy with development for MSFS now.
P3DV6 looks good. With all the money I invested for V3 and V4 for addons I might tried V6
Be aware of the limitations regarding aircraft addons.
@@Blackbox711 Thank you Sr.
ChasePlane Pro for v6 is now available for $40
Thank you

Keep in mind the crt’s work fine
In P3DV6? No the LCDs from PMDG 747-8/777 don’t work.
Recommend it? cause im thinking of getting it on my Bday and my bday is close
Like I said in the stream: V6 at the moment I do not recommend getting because of the very limited aircraft addons available there. V5 is fine.
@@Blackbox711 Alright thx
The cloud is much much better than previous version, but ambient light is still FSX style, not that good, dark side always get too dark
Much room for improvements for sure
Do you have FS 20 Weather Force or Active Sky P3D v6 ?
Only Active sky 👍🏼
the graphics look like COD4 for some reason haha
Definitely outdated
Would you recommend buying p3d now? Even V5?
No because the initial cost of P3D with a good aircraft and some payware scenery addons is huge.

Thanks, I will try that
how do i install pmdg 747 400 for v6 ?

Are PMDG addons compatible with v6?
Only 737 NGXu and 747-400 with CRT displays work. Although the installation requires a work around.

Is that PMDG?
Correct
@@Blackbox711 pmdg updated it for v6 already?
No, there is a complicated work around to get the PMDG 737 and 747-400 working in V6
still isnt as good as msfs the ground textures are bad and you dont have photogramtry
Yep. But in MSFS you don’t have the PMDG 747 yet.
And a wethear radar. At least ground handling in P3d is good
