      @filizbaltaci5756 Год назад +6

      It’s less that kids manipulate and more so that parents let kids get away with poor behavior or use poor discipline. Most of the time parents know what their kids are doing, they’re not really being manipulated by their children, they’re just giving into the situation. Kids learn really fast which boundaries they can push. Teens and pre-teens on the other hand, that’s a different story

    This almost made me cry. My mum was so overwhelmed when I was little that she screamed at us so often. It was bc my father didn't do anything. And all their anger was projected on us. When I was old enough I had one wish: that my parents schuld separate. I was constantly in the middle on them fighting and I felt like it was always my fault. Idk what broke inside of me but i still have constant fear of disappointing someone by my actions I still could cry when someone is angry at me but it is really hard to communicate my feelings to someone. Now as an adult i put them both in there place and am more aware of what kind of people they realy are, and quite frankly not ones id associate with.

    No cause like whenever Jo comes in to comfort the kids, they immediately feel better, and they would calm down whenever they are near her-icon-

    I find that the skills Jo teaches are useful not just with children. We own rentals- my husband thinks YELLING at our tenants when they don’t pay or workers when they are behind schedule. He thought he had things handled, he didn’t. I would go and set out expectations and consequences. Guess who had better results. I have referred others to Super Nanny so they can understand these concepts

    Nice boxing technique 👌 Don't mess with Super Nanny. Love how you give these families the tools they need to heal.
