Rogue could've won initially if she didn't hold back in the previous issue. Glad she got her lick back. I really like the Hag character, she'd be great for a horror style X-Men movie or a small arc of episodes in X-Men '97.
@@ericmata3728 You mean Logan is OP. Mary/Gary Stu is a character that's written as OverPowered but, unlike OPs, they are written as perfect characters. Even when writer tries to give them flaws, it's flimsy and artificial and done in a way to say "See I have flaws, I'm a real character! Why don't you like me?!" Logan has always been a flawed character. He was introduced as a gruff loner, highly antisocial and a anti-hero to boot. It wasn't until late 80s he lost some of that anti-hero grime. He was still gruff and ultra-violent but was finally buying into the hero biz
Deadpool has a healing factor, but that doesn't stop his cancer. It's the power turning on itself, overloading, destroying the body in the process. Not sure if it's same with Harvey here or something else. It could be that the mental aspect of his powers (had to have some sort if he saw the future) had a harmful effect on him. That is what happened to Destiny. She wasn't born blind, she became blind when her powers activated. Similar to (somehow) Xavier lost all hair on his head when his telepathy activated, and it never was able to grow back.
Marvel has run into this issue before they couldn't cure Captain Mar-Vell, Jane Foster thought it would be selfish for her to get the Asgardian's cure for cancer when nobody else in the world had access to it, and in DC the original Lex Luthor got terminal cancer from the Kryptonite ring he famously wore.
@@krisp215 I suppose they wanted to show how little time passed during the two issues. they still failed. But we readers remember times when Logan's healing kicked in right after the injury happened. Once or twice regrowing entire meaty body after the flesh was seared away from the skeleton. but ... Was Logan pushed to the limit during the Sabretooth War? There HAS been times in the past that showed when Logan's healing factor been pushed to the limit and then after the event, his healing was a bit slower for a short time. ...... NAH That would be giving too much credit to the creators
The STD line makes sense. Back in the late 80s we learned that Wolverine can smell some disease in a person since it changes body chemicals.

I sometimes forget that Wolverine canonically becomes like Daredevil whenever he can't use his eyes.
Logan is such a Mary Sue bro.
@ericmata3728 Only female characters are called that. Male characters are called Gary Stu.

I am soooooo happy that they didn't give Charles another child and everything turn out to be a lie.
Maury: Professor Charles Xavier you are NOT the father!
The art in Uncanny is so much better than the main Xmen line.
great issue, love these new kids, hope we see more of them
I'm wondering when the various kids of the different titles will meet.
If Harvey had a healing factor, why was his body dying. That sounds like a plot device.

The fact Wolverine didn't regain his sight for 2 issues is comical.
