I wouldn't get excited for a General Lee any time soon. Context wouldn't matter, people would rage and try to 'cancel' Hasbro. The A-Team van on the other hand would a nice retool/repaint of Ironhide. Hell, he already has the mohawk.

I like how the head sculpt is a nice call back to Doc Brown in the first movie, when he's wearing his goggles during the simulation of sending Marty back home in the first movie.
Definitely going to be getting this guy when I have the chance.
AND the cable that was used to channel the lightning from the first movie!

Want to feel old? Back to the Future is about a guy traveling from the 80's to the 50's. He goes 30 years into the past. The movie came out 35 years ago. Meaning that the kids of today regard the 80s in that curiously quaint yesteryear kind of way that people who were kids in the 80s regarded the 50s. I was a kid in the 80s.
I was born in 2004, but I would really like to live in the 80s, maybe even a little earlier.
I like this fact and I will be using it in future conversations...!
So what you're saying is we need a Back to the Future sequel trilogy where kids from the 2020s go back to the 80s, and then forward to the 2050s, and then back to the 1920s?

After all, the eighties contained 2 of the original Star Wars trilogy movies. The eighties also gave us Transformers, GI Joe, she ra, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and My Little Pony.

Kinda surprising the DMC logo isn’t on the car’s front grille, as other auto logos have made it into other Transformers, VW for Bumblebee, etc. But still, good luck finding this one after the scalpers have snatched them all up.
It's not on the figure because DMC didn't grant permission for them to use the design likeness, so they got as close as they could to using it without infringing on copyright.

They have been reissued for January.
As far as I can tell the scalpers were only able to snatch up all the "limited edition" version that had numbered boxes & this one looked like it was the regular release version.

This is probably the most powerful transformer ever conceived. Its only in the shape of a car but its really a time machine with hardly any limits. Looks like its wheels in car mode can also tuck in so it can fly like in Back to the Future 2 and its gun is powered by the Mr Fusion reactor that pumps electricity into the flux capacitor. His head sculpt also looks like he's crazy like Doc Brown.
Gigawatt: But Prime, you have to know, there's going to be an attack on Autobot City in the year 2005 and-

The thing that fell off and was the second thing removed in the transformation is called Mr fusion. :-)
My most anticipated TF toy in 2020 after Earthrise Sky Lynx. Unlike Ectotron and Ghostbusters, I have a huge love for Back to the Future and wasted no time pre ordering reserving. Awaiting mine with anticipation.
Great review! Collaborative shows tons of promise despite the Top Gun Maverick misfire. Future wants for this line include KITT/KARR from Knight Rider, the TARDIS from Doctor Who, the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, and the USS Enterprise from Star Trek.

Fun fact emgo, that texture in the vehicle mode is because delorean were made of metal plating, and with that metal plating came the ridges. I saw this other reviewer who raged on about how this was "3D printed" and that Hasbro was being way to cheap doing it lol
i'm tired of hearing the complaint about it being "cheap" when molding it in would cost more than just flat plastic
if the complaints were about how it didn't work with the size of gigawatt i would be fine
The DMC-12 was supposed to be a sort of forever car - one that didn't wear out or rust out, so the body panels were made from stainless steel. That would've made the car a heavy sucker compared to its Al-Mg contemporaries.

Definitely my favorite Autobot. I love how his flux capacitor is in the middle of his chest, like Iron Man’s Arc Reactor or Ultraman’s Color Timer.
Also, I would love to see a Diaclone/BTTF AU where Marty McFly becomes the pilot of Gigawatt’s Diaclone counterpart (designed by Dr. Emmet Brown as part of Project Chronos, the MFC’s response to the Waruders’ invention and weaponization of time-travel).
It took me a few seconds to realize they just reused the mold from SIEGE sideswipe, but man they did a pretty grand job! Honestly the mold for sideswipe in the siege line is very robust, so this usage of it works! :3

I hope they resume them for beyond Kingdoms, the blast effects are pretty cool, besides I love it when emego brings them out and does what he does, it always brings a smile to my face.

They have no reason not to, and it’s an easy & simple gimmick to include without affecting the quality of the figure.
Hi, I’m sure you don’t remember because I’m sure you get very overwhelmed with comments but on one of your “Emgo Builds Stuff” for the Ecto 1 I said something about the eaglemoss delorean and you responded by saying your not a fan and I’m just now realizing this video exists. And I just want to say that it’s great. I love how you state your opinion, but don’t make it distract from the actual video and still make it fun. Some people would probably continuously ramble on about how they don’t like the movies and not focus on their video, but you don’t and I appreciate it. It’s things like this and how kind you are to your fans that makes you one of my favorites!
Someone took all of the famous vehicles from the 80s and made them into transformers. This and the ghostbusters feels like that

This figure is near-perfect! If I did have one complaint, it would be that the black painted part that is the "roll bar" should've been silver instead of black.
Reminds me of when all the lego transformers youtubers devoted a whole month to building their interpretation of a BTTF DeLorean transformer

According to Vector Prime: time travel is one of the reasons so many "animation errors" happen in G1. So keep an eye out for anything odd in the crossover comic if you read it?

Me and my wife just love them, especially the running gags (and we know them inside out), but still discover some details, that show how movies were made by heart, not only by management statistics and target group research.

Don't forget Baby, the '67 chevy impala from Supernatural. It would work as an Autobot (hopefully a femme model, especially if we are going to have Dean Winchester forming a crush on his car) and a hunter (could probably hunt down Starscream's Ghost).
Got this figure today, excellent paint job, decent articulation etc. The transformation is a bit fiddly, though.
When you get down to it, that pole really is basically a bumper car pole.
I love how the transformers community collabs with other communities such as bttf and ghostbusters,now all we need is the rest of the most famous live action vehicles

Nice to see they tinted the windows. The product shots showed clear ones and it really looked like crap. I have two of these on pre order @ GameStop.
The Mr. Fusion and lightning rod should not be on the car mode at the same time. The lightning rod was used to get the DeLorean back to 1985 from 1955 as they cannot get plutonium for the nuclear fission generator to power the flux capacitor. Once back in 1985 Doc takes the DeLorean to the future (2015) where he upgrades it with flight and adds the Mr. Fusion to power the flux capacitor.
I'm a big back to the future fan so this is a must-have for me

Nice camera! The texture was definitely there and looked great.
Although it’s an incredibly obscure one, who else would LOVE to see a Disney Atlantis crossover with the ULYSSES submarine. Obviously i would want it to have an actual robot head with an underwater breathing apparatus like movie evac or something and not a cartoony one but I think a classic styled submarine would be so cool. It’s not like there are many submarine transformers around either. I can think of the cybertron minicon quickdive and that’s it.

Personally I would have prefered if they made him Voyager Class so he could scale better with Ectotron but it is a great figure anyways.
If we think about it he is probably one of the most powerful transformers ever: Able to time travel under his own power, able to fly in car mode with superior maneuverability, able to recharge himself with some organic junk thanks to his Mr. Fusion and when he equips it in his gun he probably can rival Megatron in terms of firepower.
I legit thought Prime was gonna ask him if he has risen.

I opened the nostalgic 1.21 Gigawatt tonight, It is very fun but down to Earth.

the "bumper car thingy" is exactly that, it serves the same purpose.
a big antenna that touches an electrical power source above the car, allowing it to move.
While the first is definitely better than the sequels they are cool and fun. If you like cool and fun, I recommend watching them (and rewatching the original as well)..

Fun fact about the Delorean, the speed on it was crap and it was hard to get it up to 88mph. So, it's a bit of an ironic joke when you think about it.
Man, it would be great if Gigawatt went back to stop Hot Rod from intervening with Prime's fight with Megatron and destroy that purple blaster Megs used on Prime in the process, but beggars can't be choosers.

yeah a pretty cool lil figure really, Are you planning on getting the autobot and decepticon twins? i recently got the decepticon twins and the paint is soooo much better than their power of the primes release.
Gotta get one, but you have to watch all three films. The third has an Astrotrain like transformer in the end. They have to make a toy of that.
