Honestly kind of cool that they finally turned the most popular ships in the franchise into a character, I mean they already made Trypticon the Nemesis!
Transformers Animated had Omega Supreme be the Ark.

@@malcomalexander9437 Was about to say that. I don't think he was even an "Ark." I think he was just a regular maintenance ship that space bridge repair teams use. They just drew him to look like the Ark for reference.

I thought in one of the comic books they had the Ark transform? Maybe it was a spin-off comic? But I swear in one of them the Ark had a robot transformation form? And it is weird they had Trypticon as The Nemesis and not the Ark in the original series. But I guess they thought Metroplex was a cooler idea back then since he a few different transformations.
That is so cool that they have a hidden command deck with extras... Not only d you get a teeny tiny Optimus Prime, you get Mainframe, with a full robot mode (Which is surprisingly decent!) you also get Teletraan 1, the Golden Discs, and even a Sky Spy satellite!

I've taken to calling him Protoplex. He's going to act as an early version of Metroplex for my Collection. Especially since I ascribe to the idea that the Nemesis=Trypticon.

You could think about it like,when the ark was destroyed in G1,the ark's mind was put into another body AKA metroplex

I'm hopefully that Hasbro will do a Titan version of The Nemesis...but the Kingdom The Ark has to sell beyond what Hasbro's number crunchers have calculated first.
For that to happen the Ark needs to really sell.
Cause as of right now they're aren't any plans for the Nemesis. Not even for the Haslab next month.
But the Némesis ship of the decepticon's is trypticon so will we'll have a new trypticon well if trypticon transforms in the series to fight the ark bot

Well then this figure just makes kingdom worse. I thought it was bad cuz of the ark now the ark figure doesn’t have moving fingers like combiner wars devastator. This is the end of the world.
@@Atonac I love how they can make a really small elbow joints for like the core figures but they can't make finger joints which are probably bigger

I think the scale between him and Metroplex is good, especially in a Fall of Cybertron display
Absolutely lovely figure. Great ship mode and love how his robot mode is just like 'The Last Autobot'. Fantastic to see the action master (and computer nerd) 'Mainframe' being used for Teletraan 1. I'm sure Prime is thrilled to have another giant minion to protect his pizza bagels! :)
The bluuushing parts are the best parts of this whole set.
I love the idea of turning the Autobots' transport to Earth into a colossal robot. I wanna collect this mofo. I'd definitely wanna give him his own name, though.
Autonomous Maximus is apparently the last autobot’s name (the character this guy was based on) so that would be a good fit ig

That has to be the most scale defying box of Transformer stuff ever!
It's because he came in vehicle mode, and due to his transformation he compacts in vehicle mode, I just got him as a graduation present.
I still hope this get's reprinted as Transformers Animated Omega Supreme.
I also think the worlds smallest Prime would look good with this.

THAT INTRO BRINGS BACK SO MUCH NOSTALGIA! A classic emgo into where all Mascot wanted was a bodyguard. I forgot what videos they were but I know I'll find them.
First time being early for an emgo review. Just opened this guy up the other day. My first ever titan class, love him. His ratchets are so freaking loud. I have trouble tabbing everything nicely back into ship mode so that's a bit of a struggle.
Funfact: The Ark's Robot Head is based on the last autobot character from the Marvel: Transformers Comic.

@Ethanthe prime12 I think the ark is the WFC Version of him and combined with Animated Omega Supreme. Since in Animated; The ark was a Cybertronian aka Omega Supreme. Just stuck in Ship Mode.
@Ethanthe prime12 In Animated yes but for kingdom. I don't think it's omega. If it was then it's head would be a modified Omega Supreme head. But they chose to use The Last Autobot's Head.

Honestly before the legs were transformed he looked like Meklord emperor Granel for the yugioh players out there

No Ratchet joint ankles, but the Ark has a Sideswipe ankle on the left and a Sunstreaker ankle on the right. He has an Ironhide joint at the neck as well. 😃
I wish they would remold this figure into animated omega supreme

@@accywacky2699 Omega-ish is good enough. Like Siege Barricade. It’s not a flawless version of movie Barricade, it’s a nice G1 inspired version. That could work well with Ark Omega
When emgo brought the arms done to finish the transformation to me it sounds like a gun being loaded 22:33
I also think teletran should be bigger so normal figures fit with it collectors are probably gonna be the main people getting the ark and they probably collect the normal size

Collectors collect all, people like me who don’t have the money for things like the ark are more picky as to what we buy.

@@DjDoxastic scalpers are down here in the states too. These losers go from store to store buying up everything and then going straight to eBay trying to sell it at double the markup. Just don’t over pay for ANY tf’s and we’ll put these bums out of their misery.
This looks pretty good. I've always liked the Autobot Ark and the Decepticon warship, the Nemesis and thought they were cool ideas!

I know this vid is old, but just needed to say Emgo thanks for being awesome, and having vids like this. Just pulled my Ark out of the back of my collection and this helped so much to put it back into alt mode. You rock (from a Transformers fan trying not to grow old in his 40s) 🤘😂
I would love to see some gunpla customizer work on this toy. Even just panel lining would change the look drastically. But also something could be done with those turrets and the little Optimus could get a paint job.

Secret third mode of the ark makes me realise how much I wanted a centaur Transformer. Sort of like deluxe RotF Rampage back in the day.
I like that third mode, it's perfect for aerial and space combat.
Or if you need a Last Autobot delivered somewhere quickly.
With Titan class being a thing ,we now have Titan class cities, ships (as in the ark) combiners , we even have a planet . How about a Titan class city combiner . Five cities combine to form one huge robot .
I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been Micro Machines Transformers for the BIIIIG bots yet. Just little things to drive about in city mode or ship mode, In this case.
I use the micromaster class for that with my Trypticon

The Command Center almost counts as a third mode and the hybrid mode reminds me to some mechs from Gundam specialized to fight in space so they don't need legs.

All that ratchety goodness!! Makes me think of a slower and louder version of the G1 transformation sound on the show. I wouldnt doubt that's what it's based on. Great review. Wish they would've articulated his fingers but still amazing figure.
I just picked up this figure today at Target. Just randomly went up and down the toy aisles looking for carded Hot Wheels initially, but then I saw one of these on the shelf, and snapped it up instead. It set me back just over $180, but it was worth it!
I just got mine via BBTS today from the long-awaited preorder.
If Hasbro were to release the Fortune, do you think it should be released in Commander Class size or Titan Class? Cause it was a pretty small ship.

So every Transformer ship is a Titan now, huh? Not that I'm saying it's a bad thing, but in Earthrise the Nemesis was a bot-built ship, not a titan so... Maybe I'm missing out on something here.
@@dkkanofkash8798 the Nemesis being alive would kind of make more sense considering it was powered by sparks.
The recessed spaces under the barrels on the turrets makes it look like you can push them down or something for a slightly smoother look for robot mode, and it is triggering me that it seems you can't.
Long have I waited for this!!! Easily my favourite titan so far
All the ratchets in the robot mode are great, but the legs won't hold many poses with such limited ankle tilt. A handheld weapon would have been nice so he could bloosh from somewhere other than his shins.
I would say the clickity-clackity sounds of this titan's ratchets fit well to the actual sounds of a gigantic ship transforming.
Thanks EmGo, i just ordered mine. I do feel they could have put some more effort into this. It cones across as very much something of today's Transformers Stuff where they don't have to adapt something that is long standing.
For me, it’s either going to be this or the newly revealed shattered glass jetfire (it’s a pretty cool repaint of siege jetfire)
He looks great in my opinion. Reminds me in that ABC Warrior robot from Judge Dredd which I love.
Love the reviews but really love the size comparison to other titans. etc. to my that's the breaking point, if its to small I wont buy it. I'm glad I bought this. subscribed!
Agree, it's great that Hasbro didn't reduce the size of the Titan Class figures.
There is nothing I want more from Hasbro than a retool of this guy so we can finally get a toy for Transformers: Animated Omega Supreme.

Hey Emgo I have been a fan for years and just wanted 2 let u know that you are one of my favs to go to when I want anything transformers

This takes me back to the heyday of playsets for toy lines, which never happened for transformers but should have. I get Castle Graysull/GoBot Command Center vibes and I dig it. I love the nods to both the G1 cartoon and the Marvel comic in this toy. I'll finally have a Teletran-1 for my bots, and the Ark's head is totally the Last Autobot from US issues 79 and 80 of the original comics. That alone makes me want this. And then I can spend hours panel lining all those sculpted details so he pops.
What about the cityformers?

He didn't die, his lifeforce was transfered to the Ark and it became his new body.
I hope the Nemesis become it own robot/character too, not just be Trypticon. Just have to wait and see. Also look forward to more Kingdom with the new deluxes and Studio Series with the G1 and Movies new figures too.
Definitely a good one by Hasbro & i can see this becoming a rare item cuz the ark was never made a toy back in the 80's so to have a cool figure now ( with a triple changing teletran 1 ) is exclusive to me 💪🏾💯💯💯

Great review as always from Emgo. I think this figure is pretty cool but I'm not feeling it on a personal level. I have all the Titans including the Haslab Unicron and pretty much out of shelf space. I might be able to squeeze him in somewhere but to me this character is too new and unfamiliar. However, this figure is most likely going to become a hot item that sells out and then resells for 3x the original price and that's when I'm going to end up wanting it for myself....urgh....the humanity. I'm going to scoop him up at Target right now, lol.

I love how his head is based on the Autobot symbol, and a nod to the Last Autobot from the classic comics as well. Looks like he scales pretty good with the other Titans. Being taller than Devy but shorter than Metro, and about equal with Scorponok and Trypticon (who's technically Metro sized but being dino leans forward)

Being a massive space nerd, seeing those Discs was awesome, i believe those are modeled after real golden records we put on Voyager when we launched it so that anyone who came across it, be they Alien or Man in the distant future, they would be able to read it and understand parts of human culture and what the Earth is like. I was not expecting to see those in a Transformers toy of all things. Such an awesome thing to see.
Those dics were used as a plot point in Beast wars and check out emgo's mp dinobot review it has more detail on the golden disk than this
I'm having doubts on whether or not I really want to get him. I do like the teletraan-1. Though if they retooled a little and remolded a bit, they could do an awesome Tidal Wave.
Of course, now I'm just waiting for a blue-and-gold repaint into The Last Autobot, because I'm sure Hasbro will do that for us G1 Marvel fans (I know, I know, we should count ourselves lucky were getting toy/Marvel Galvatron). Hey, maybe Toyhax will do a conversion sticker set, that'll do.
I cant wait for his arrival, now if only I could find a metroplex for a decent price.

On the Transformer Ark keep the wedges locked in it seemed to split the center with a gap where the loading dock is in between engine
If the box art is any indication of current and potentially upcoming toys.. I would be happy to see the Decepticon counterpart to the Ark.. I don't know what the Decepticon starship is called? But, the one we see in G1 cartoon pilot episode chasing the Ark and on the top of the Ark box.
This one is cool. Will likely keep in Ark mode as that's what we mostly, if only, ever have seen. I think it could have been a little flatter. It's a little bulbous or fatter than I recall it being. And, I wished the sides towards the back didn't have the hallow cutout. But, overall a very cool addition to the TF toy lineup.
It is sooo cool that Mainframe turns into TELLETRAN-1! :D
The Golden record was sent into space 8/1977, which has the sounds of earth such as rain,fire,animals, people and also some songs from various artists. So it’s a nod to science so it’s cool that it was added to the Ark, very dope.
And it is also featured in Beast wars
He is now the guardian of baby bots in my room... love this figure...I'm waiting for the 'mama'😅
