I'm fighting an uphill battle with RUclips's algorithm but I'm hoping to change things a bit and get more people into this game, and I'll do it or die trying lol. The game is insanely fun and I think has a lot of content potential. Be on the lookout for more, at minimum I'm doing runs up through Guardian 4 (mistakenly said 5 in this video lol oops), but I think there's some pretty fun challenge runs and stuff that might be possible as well that I'd like to explore. In this game, any kind of build can be extremely OP if you use the right combinations of items. You might not always get what you're after, but many combinations are viable. And that's what i absolutely love about this game, and what makes each run unique!
I saw your last video and it got me to get my friend to try the demo. It felt so good we bought it shortly after and have put 35 hours into it in this week alone lol. seriously such an amazing game and I'm super glad your video reminded me that it existed
2:55 this actually was an excellent choice in augments because that 5% over the course of a run is so low that even when I take this perk super early on the number of times i get stunned couldnt even fill a handful. But if you get elementalist they have an ability that prevents you from being stunned, burned or shocked. Leading to INSANE builds that should have negative consequences but just dont and now u have ABSURD damage
Ehh I can see the logic, I'll take items that cause burn but I'm probably skipping anything that causes stun or hack... Maybe I'm considering it if I have flowerpot or obviously that Elementalist perk negates the downside entirely, otherwise the chance that I get stunned and die, no matter how small, is not worth it to me when there's other ways to scale damage.
I've put welllllll over 100 hours into this game but I needed to take a little break for a bit. still haven't beaten a full run yet but I have basically everything you can get until that point. I think I'm gonna give it another whack after watching this
Lol that's awesome, I do love how much you can do in this game short of just sending it on runs all the way to the moon. I spent probably 20-25 hours just hunting down power crystals and gadgets and stuff, and only in my most recent 5-10 hours of gameplay have I been trying to put together winning runs. Very rewarding game in that way. Good luck with your runs!
Apparently if u keep the buddybot and go to oasis u can make it a mythic weapon that gives u boosts to damage and fire rate even when it's holstered may be useful for ur runs CORRECTION: It boosts your elemental damage EVEN WHILST HOLSTERED so synergizes well with any elementalist run
Played this game when it was in preview on gamepass and it was fun, now theyve added so much and im currently addicted ❤ cheers man like the vid style ajd your personality 👍
On those jump pad purple rooms you can hit the first pad, use your jetpack if need be until you can use your grappling hook to reach the end. The grappling hook makes all purple rooms a non issue
Honestly this run changed my mind on it as well lol, it's basically "press button and receive invincibility + a massive buff" the class though. It's gud.
Windmill is honestly the friggin strongest on Engineer/Ranger. Matter fact... they might be the strongest classes out there. YET... I have to say... since the ''full release'' I haven't gotten too much of a hand in to the elementalist but..... yeh.. :')
my problem after seeing some gameplay of this game is that the AI seem braindead. They just stand there and shoot you. How is it actually as the game progresses? Enemy variety seems small too.
The AI is simple, but honestly it has never felt like a problem to me, the variety makes up for it the enemies all just kinda share a similar visual design (but they're easier to tell apart than you think though). And as the game progresses (through Guardian difficulties) I wouldn't say the AI gets more complex but attack patterns get faster and the enemy pools get more varied.
I’m sure you have it now, but on the off chance you don’t, the game completely changes once you have all the unlockable mobility gadgets. You think it’s fun and fast paced now, just you wait!
You almost did "no reload build". Well, you actualy did one, but didn't use it properly. In this game all perks that have "infinite ammo" condition reload your ammo weapons mags. You should've been toggling with Bastions shield while holding left click for infinite ammo. Also, windmil is not the best weapon for this build. Next time try torpedo rifle with seeking mod.
Tbf this was in my like first ~10 hours of the 1.0 release, and I hadn't really played much Guardian at all I pretty much went straight to Ranger as soon as I unlocked it. So I had no idea a no reloading build was even possible at this point I was taking a lot of these perks for the first time and just seeing what happened, I might try for it again in the future, but it wasn't really the point of this run at all.
The weapons are random drops and have random upgrades on them based on their rarity. It's not even close to the same every time, the weapons actually make a huge difference on your playstyle.

Gunfire Reborn is also really good if you like RoboQuest. There's also another game called Perish that I have my eyes on but I haven't tried it yet.

I saw a run where it was a buckshot Windmill rifle with max fire-rate and it was incredibly silly!
On those jump pad purple rooms you can hit the first pad, use your jetpack if need be until you can use your grappling hook to reach the end. The grappling hook makes all purple rooms a non issue

played this game for 3 hours now.... didnt know sliding was an option and im a titanfall player XD

You should get the jet pack and grappling hook my man. It will change how you play and make the game even more fun.
I got the jetpack at least and am one crystal away from the grappling hook, the stream where this run occurred was a couple weeks ago.
