Pretty nice crashes but I think nascar heat 5 focuses on physics more than damage I think iracing does both but Motorsport games just wants to have the best physics…
I think one of the major setbacks with Heat 5 is the damage model. About the only thing that shows damage is the hood crinkling. Car flipping and rolling shows little to no damage from rear bumper sides or roof. Front end damage shows hood damage but bumper is still perfectly intact lol. The best damage models was from nascar 2003 and the developers and the mod community have not been able to duplicate it.
