I carry the cloud hc micro. I'm absolutely in love with this light. I carry a cloud chicro admin light attached to my spare mag carrier so I have something that's not like the sun for little tasks. When I do pull out the cloud hc when I'm with people they are blown away . Eventually I want a kidex mag/light rig combined.

I recently got the same CD for a nice high candela pocket thrower.. the things a little bigger than I expected, bigger than some of my 18650 lights lol those might have a higher lumen count but the candela doesn’t even come close! Still a pretty small head for the kind of throw it provides. I also keep a Prometheus beta on me for a small aaa size task light

Had a cloud MCH-HC but it kept on having issues. Even sent it in to be repaired. When I got it back it went back to having problems such as flickering, and not giving me full output. I got a full refund and got a Modlite. My buddies Cloud is having the same issues.

So far I’ve had zero issues with any brand

How is the Cloud light? Im wanting to get a full size handheld that runs a 18650 since i already have the rein 2.0 and a few rechargeables for that i wouldnt need to buy more batteries.
Ive been reading the Cloud gets very hot quickly?

I would say overall it’s very similar to the Modlite not to sure about the temperature difference

Frankly any compact high output is gonna get hot.. Honestly that kind of a good thing though. The aluminum does a very good job of pulling heat away from the emitter. It’ll also regulate itself and step down before it gets too hot to handle. I have a micro mch hc and it does a decent job at this. Step down is noticeable after a minute or so and seems to settle around 300lumens.. still a pretty intense beam from this light! For example, the cloud provides a more intense beam @10% output (80lm) than some of my other lights do @ 500-1000lm
