Wow I had no idea he passed!! Chick Corea and John Blake Jr gave me first hand pointers when I was a kid. I still use them til this day at 32yo

The way he plays what he sings is very similar to what Kevon Carter does when he makes his videos and plays peoples vocal chords instead of the actual chords in the real arrangement. He plays what he hears people sing which is a super dope technique which adds a new flavor and element to playing a song. Its not the musical chords, its the vocal chords. I love it!
I noticed the same thing last year when I really started paying attention to how Kevon was following the vocalists. Brings out a very distinct sound. Glenn has mastered that art
@@jburr2107 Facts! I love it... I've never heard anyone play like that in person. Take a great ear and knowledge of vocal movement to pull it off. Both artists can sing too which plays a big part.

Glenn wasn't on Earth when he was playing that for sure, I mean, he didn't even look at the organ most of the time.

You are correct, the original key is C, but it transposes to C#/Db after the first pass.
