A secret that I learned when I was about 10-12 years old, was to play Disney songs. Most of those Disney composers from the jazz era had lots of macros or riffs that you can incorporated in your playing. That was also the time that I learned to play Broadway musical songs for the white people at school middle school. Alot of that stuff is learning to move back and forth between minor, augmented chords, and 3 note diminished chords and learning to add a 4 note in there somewhere when playing minor keys. Then play fourths, fifths, and major 3rds when filling over major chords. Sean has a very interesting way of explaining things and I enjoy it because I don't think like he does. He has very good perspective.

They both are so good but it doesn't fit. I think he overplays. There's no space for the singer. Even the silent are broken.
Nah, pianist is overplaying. 😒
Only if I can play half of what you playing lmao
He’s playing too much in her range for me
I agree doing way too much in her space.. that’s why she stopped
Omgeee can you please stop talking through the music so WE can hear everything too…. Shhhhhhh….. lol
*Wendi
That BS a lot of these piano players are over playing you do not up show the singer you are suppose to be backing. that is the only thing i do not like about this channel most of the players are just playing for them self over playing. If this was jazz no problem but it you are hired to back some one you do not up stage them.
