    Your anticipating recoil, each time the gun ran dry and you pulled the trigger the gun moved forward.
    It's a common thing and easy enough to solve.
    Big fan of the old FN stuff, thanks for saving this one!

    Thanks for saving this one, seeing it all rusted up was making my heart ache, since I use a Model 1922 as my carry pistol. They are great little pistols, and as this video demonstrated, quite accurate as well. I bought mine back in 2018 at a local pawn shop, she's old, but in good shape and has seen nowhere near as much trouble as the one in your video. Best I can tell, mine is an early post-war civilian production model.

    Absolutely amazing, very clever use of zip ties. I'm worried about shooting mine, but it is not as bad as this one was. By the way, the reason for the shroud extension is earlier models had shorter barrels. Rather than make a longer slide shroud, they just made an extension. At least that's what I read.

    A variant of the Model 1910 was known variously as the Model 1922 or 1910/22. This was a larger model with a longer barrel (113 mm), slide extension, and a longer grip frame to accommodate an extra two rounds. This model was aimed at military and police contracts and many examples were produced for various agencies. The FN Model 1910 was initially designed for the Kingdom of Serbia

    Very nice video, as always 😉The only "critique" I have is the barrel which sould have been left in the white, but that's really not that relevant given the original shape of the handgun

    • @TheKinzlerBros
      @TheKinzlerBros  7 месяцев назад +4

      Yea you have a valid point. Most of them were in the white im axtually pretty sure that was the design. But what i did not show was the waA140 stamp along with the flying eagle on the back side of the bore. If i would have polished it to my liking i would have lost those german ww2 stamps. The stamps on the frame are so faint the camera cant pick them up. But thanks for the constructive criticism. Thanks for watching.

    • @Phage26
      @Phage26 7 месяцев назад

      @@TheKinzlerBros definitely not a critique, on the contrary I admire all the work you do to try and save these poor guns.
      And you definitely have a valid-er point: better keep the WaffenAmt than trying to get a white finish (I have the same gun, in much better condition and the WaffenAmt on the barrel is still barely visible despite it not aving being repolished), given that you would need to grind through the pitting. I'd like to do the same with a Webley I have but here where I live sandblasting seems to be some sort of alien technology and nobody has a cabinet to do it (unless you go to a very big company which will charge you an insane amount of money and I couldn't leave the gun with them because of Italian gun laws...). I don't think the Amazon "sandblasters" can do a good job and rather keep an ugly gun than screwing it beyond repair with a poorly made job.
      Keep up the good job, always a pleasure watching these

    Интересно. На затворе есть зачёркнутый номер. Скорее всего пистолет когда-то проходил арсенальный ремонт. Реставрация отличная, хотя ствол можно оставить полированным, металлического цвета.
