Here is a gun restoration of an Italian army issue Beretta model 1934 produced in 1940 with a "FAG" proof mark of 1939 which makes is a little bit more rare. This suggests that the handgun was made in 1940 but before october 28 1940. Or "FAG" had not gotten their official proof mark from the mint office in Rome before the pistol was made and roll marked with the 1940 date code. Of course this video will have test firing like all videos. Just a heads up to anyone who reads these, there are some huge iconic firearms coming to the channel this spring and summer. As always thanks for watching. Consider subscribing as well.

How simple and brilliant these weapons are, few things to operate, few things to break = reliability
Absolutely, thanks for watching we appreciate it!
Finally a good restoration on a REAL old gun. No fake corrosion, mud or accelerated made process just to have the piece for the job. And finally a real Beretta, the most iconic italian handgun. Thank you by an old italian.
Thank you very much, we pride ourselves on doing it the right way! We appreciate you!
It's amazing how many fake "restoration" video creators are unaware that plastic and wood don't rust, and will just spray an entire gun or knife down with artificial corrosion.
My son and I watched "Bad Taste", an 80's B movie horror film tonight (an early Peter Jackson film) that had a few of those. It's been so long since I'd seen one that I forgot how cool they are. Now I have to go looking for one.
I remember watching a "restoration video" of an AK74 that had been abandoned for decades in the dirt and mud, yet had a loaded Magpul PMAG. Must have been one of Magpuls earlier prototypes
@@cigoLxeLbut some rust on plastic is to be expected especially flood or river guns because of rust bleeding like on vehicles you will see rust lines from metal to plastic or rubber
Berettas are beautiful.
yea i keep my beretta 92 just to look at it. i was so hyped to be old enough to buy one from watching it in movies. a natural star. plus i worked with a guy that would always talk about his beretta 92 lol.
I agree! Thanks for watching
Really a very elegant pistol. Sth like Alfa-Romeo Giulietta!
@@bullseyebob47 Own one too! A workhorse, even in 22lr.
As a proud Beretta M9 owner I approve this message.
Man, the glass bead blasting always works like magic. Great work fellas and thanks for sharing!
It's the best part of the videos for me. Very satisfying!
Absolutely, thanks we appreciate it! Thanks for watching
My favorite part by far.
Yeah it looks cool, but these gloves give me the heebie-jeebies just by looking at them
Beautiful. Love the finish.
Many Wehrmacht officers wore one as an emergency pistol. It didn't jam! It was very reliable.
Absolutely, thanks for watching!
Ya, we work full time jobs otherwise we would put more out. Hopefully some day, thank you for the kind words we appreciate you! Ya there are some crude people out there that don't know what they are doing! Thanks for watching!
Que joja! La pistola semiautomática con menos piezas jamás construida. Eterna.
Grazie per il bellissimo restauro, ne possiedo una del 1953, non si inceppa mai
Thanks for watching. That's awesome!
WoW..a 1940 version of a Beretta 80X Copper...fantastic job.... !!!

Thank you we appreciate it! It all worked out, thanks for watching
LOVE LOVE LOVE the orange!!
Me too, thanks for watching!
I am not into guns but that was therapeutic. I was wondering about the test firing then when I saw the safety precautions I realised these guys are not amateurs.
Thank you we appreciate it, thanks for watching!
Yeah, I have never and don't plan on ever owning a gun. I don't even like shooting guns. But for whatever reason, I really enjoy these videos.
Think of it as a tool restoration. Because guns are just that, tools.
So the first thing your brain went to was safety precautions?? I'm so thankful that I don't think that way, I just enjoy the restoration.
@@wizardofahhhs759 Sounded to me like a comment in recognition of their professionalism.
Beautiful. Berettas are the Sofia Loren of guns.

Watching the glass bead blasting is sooo satisfying. :D
Yes it is, I'm glad you enjoy it too! Thanks for watching
I used to have a Beretta 92FS before it got stolen, it was my first and favorite semi-automatic pistol and I miss it so much. I loved how easy it was to disassemble compared to a Glock and after watching this video, I am blown away how disassembling Beretta Model 1934 from the 1940's appears to be no different than when I had to disassemble the 92FS to clean it. I find it funny with the acronym and thinking yep, this pistol suits me, LOL!
Ya that sucks, ya that acronym is funny! Thanks for watching we appreciate it!
I agree! Love the two tone
Thanks, ya it's pretty cool! Thanks for watching
I own this gun and it’s truly a piece of art
That's awesome, thanks for watching!
Definitely the best restoration videos out there. You guys do awesome work!
Thank you very much for the kind words we appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
one of my favorites restorations! it came out nearly perfect, and the finish is unique
Thank you we appreciate it, ya it did! Thanks for watching
Great job on the restoration. I purchased one of these last year, in very good condition, and the proof marks indicate it was for the Italian Air Force. No stampings on the slide indicates it was built late July to early September of 1943 after the Allies liberated Italy. Great pieces of history.
Thank you very much! That is a beautiful gun! Thanks for watching we appreciate it.
Also, this gun was very popular in many British movies and TV shows in the 1960's. Watch The Saint with Roger Moore and you will see this gun appear in many of the episodes. Who new it was a TV and movie star? 😀
Love the two tone as well
Me too, thanks for watching!
My individual weapon during my military service in the Carabinieri. Small but precise. Good job!
Ya it's a good gun, thanks for watching!

What a beautiful pistol! That natural fade/asymmetric burnt-bronze look on the slide, paired with the trim of the grips left in the white is just pure chef's kiss. Looks like a $1000+ modern custom job.
Thank you very much we appreciate it, thanks for watching!
Amazing work!

Korobov.
Go look up his stuff. Crazy for Bakelite. Definitely ahead if his time. His weapons look like some alien hardware.

I personally do not like orange cor of the slide after restoration but what matters most is that this piece of history has been restored for generations to come. Well done!
I can appreciate that, absolutely that's what matters! Thanks for watching
@@TheKinzlerBros Where did you guys find that Beretta? Was it found it in a basement somewhere and had simply been neglected for years?
I respectfully disagree. The beautiful orange pearlessence makes the piece pop and is a beautiful contrast.
Amazing job.
Thanks!
Missed your videos!❤
Love the this one turned out!
Ya sorry, I wish we could put more out but, we both still work full-time! Thanks for the support
Brilliant job yet again.

A real pleasure to watch. Was thinking as you dismantled the pistol, is he going to know where all the bits go? Obviously yes.

That turned out great. I really like the way the slide turned out. I've seen the almost purple color on WWII pistols before but never that orange. Awesome Video.
