This pedal took me a little while to get into it at first. I'm used to Boss delays and even my trusty Ibanez DE7. But after figuring out how it's gotta be dialed in, this pedal is truly one of the best delays I've ever had. It has the best of all worlds and doesn't have any features I don't need. It stays out of the way when playing dirty, which is good. It doesn't get immediately dark in analog mode, which is something I usually hate about most analog delays- this makes it sound more like a tape delay and very similar to my DE7. It can hang just on the brink of oscillation without actually getting there. I love this setting, and it's hard to do that in most delays. It has an incredible slapback delay. The chorus and vibrato effects can be used without delay if needed, and they sound great. Overall, this is just two very good circuits in one. It's extremely versatile. My only gripes are that there's no stereo (I honestly wouldn't need it anyway, as my reverb pedal can output to stereo if I want that). The other gripe is the oscillation effect by holding down the tap button ramps up extremely fast and gets deafeningly loud. This is a sign of a good delay pedal, but it's also hard as hell to control. I think it's just better to run the feedback just below self oscillation and turn the pedal off and on as needed. It's very musical this way. Lastly, it's kinda big but probably not bigger than having a separate analog and digital pedal side by side.

Beautiful. The darkness of the analog is perfect. It hides nicely in the back. Even during busier sections. It would have been cool if you could cascade one delay into the other. Nothing better than a dotted 1/8th analog delay into a 1/4 digital delay.
@Google Needs TobeBombed a good shout, and I dont disagree. I say echo/delay as Hank brought it into prominence, Joe Brown had the tape echo unit prior to him but didn't like it so gave it to Hank, and the rest is history as they say.
@Google Needs TobeBombed nice kit. Most people playing Hank go overboard with the echo, it's not as thick as people believe, and a lot of The Shadows stuff has more reverb (to my ears.)
