Samsung internet is really great. But the only reason I don't use it is because everything is synced with my chrome. I do have the Samsung Chrome extension installed on my desktop but it doesn't sync the passwords. Is there an app (THAT WORKS) or some other easy method I can use to port over my chrome bookmarks "And Passwords" into the Samsung Internet browser?

What is you select 'never' when prompted on a web site and choose to reverse that ? It won't prompt again and I don't see a way to add it through Pass.

Just reset the chrome app or the browser tou used to log
It erase the data
then try again it will be there

How do you add the passwords and the usernames to the pass...Will it just show up?
I'm very interested in more security but I have to be able to allow my spouse access to my phone on occasion due to some disabilities. Just a quick example is if I'm waiting for a call or text & I'm not available to get it or see it I depend on him to do certain things. So using iris, finger print or face recognition, he'd be unable to access anything for me. However, I'd like to have the extra security in case my phone is lost or stolen. Besides passwords (which I've given to him) are there any other suggestions? I have Samsung Galaxy S9+.

When we save something in samsung pass app our data is stored in samsung server is it is save samsung can read ur data so why we r take this risk for saving our user id nd password in samsung pass tell.me bro

Cheers for the videos been through getting some tips. Worth a look at last pass (will say I'm in the UK so not sure if it works in other countries) app same sort of thing as the Samsung pads but you can use it on any browser as well as using it to create a password to meet different requirements and making secure notes. Every once in a while an app dosent automatically save and it never offers me a time to add that app to Samsung Pass again. How do I add an app if my phone dosent automatically offer to add it?

Awesome video as usual Jimmy! I use Samsung Pass all the time as well 👍what was that case you had off to the side at the very beginning of the video?? I noticed it had little ribbed grips on the side. I love cases with grips on them as they really help in you not dropping your phone.

More crapware from Samsung. Really annoyed they enabled this with the Oreo update on the Note 8.
Why would anyone use this crap over something like LastPass or 1Password?
Brian Carnell because it is preinstalled and more secure than the 2 you mentioned. It's also not crapware when you'd go out and download an app to replace this app. Crapware or bloatware is something you dont want... not replace haha. Its fantastic once you use it.

Brian Carnell I guess you disagree. I have been looking into Samsung Pass, LastPass and Google’s Smart Lock for Passwords. I’ve been wondering safety and advantages with all. So far I think LastPass is the safest when it comes to have a password generator (so you’re not using the drastically different passwords). However, the downside to this is if you need to log in on another device and you don’t have any of those passwords available. Also, I’m not very familiar with that company. Samsung’s advantage is the Iris biometric and already using and trusting them with Samsung Pay. Also heard Knox is very safe. However, downside is I can’t get it to ask me for my log in information on apps. I don’t know if that’s because I originally answered never or if it’s another reason. I heard there is limited app support, but I don’t know the real reason. Lastly, I think Smart Lock for Passwords (haven’t really tried LastPass) I think might be the simplest to use. It definitely seems to ask me for information every time, but again I can’t remember it really asking me for apps. I will definitely pay closer attention going forward. Also this looks to just store the passwords and recognizes the website and plugs in the info, but doesn’t ask for fingerprints or iris. In searching the web, I’ve found numerous accolades for all three, but unfortunately I’ve seen people adamantly opposed to everyone.
What does everyone think? Along with personal experiences would be appreciated. Lastly for Samsung and Google how do you get it to work with Apps. Is it because I have them both set up (which I don’t think that’s it because I shut off the Google and still no luck), that I already said never, that a lot of apps are not compatible, or some other reason? Thanks in advance!
