How can I add sign in information to samsung pass if I accidentally choose the 'Never' option ?
Tech With Brett I have been exploring different apps of this nature. Specifically, Samsung Pass, LastPass, and Google’s Smart Lock for Passwords. I have been looking all over the web for people’s opinions. Unfortunately, it seems that there are a wide variation. It also seems that things that one is good at another isn’t and vice verse. If you want specifics I’d be more than happy to go through what I’ve found. I want your opinion of the three, but I also need some help specifically with Samsung Pass.
So far it looks like it’s been quite easy to set up for websites. I don’t believe there’s been one that hasn’t worked. It’s primarily the apps that I’m having trouble (maybe there was a site as well, but I don’t remember). The questions I have is how do I fix or enable it to work with the apps. One of the negatives that I read supposedly states that it’s not compatible with all apps, but it doesn’t sound right to me. My thoughts on why it’s not working is either because I have Smart Lock for Passwords enabled (I can’t see why that would matter. I did even shut it off and it still didn’t work, but maybe I didn’t erase enough data or did something else wrong). The other idea that I had is I originally wasn’t willing to try it so I may have pressed never or pressed x when asked it I wanted to store the info. I was thinking that maybe it has that information stored and won’t ask me again. The reason I came up with that idea is because I was asked by Smart Lock on a website and I pressed it for that. Sure enough in that settings area I noticed that it won’t ask me again. I had to delete it. There may be another reason, but I can’t think of something else. So I would really appreciate your help.
It looks like the advantage of LastPass is the password generator (to make sure you’re using drastically different passwords) and also that it can be used with any browser (which I don’t mind using Samsung internet browser), but the disadvantage is if you need to log in on another persons device the likelihood of one remembering of all those generated passwords is not good. Google’s Smart Lock is very convenient, but doesn’t require any biometrics. It just remembers when you go to the site and again I’m not certain if it works with apps. Samsung Pass has the protection of Knox, which I’m told is very good. It also has the luxury of using biometrics (in my case I not only have fingerprint, but also iris). Disadvantage is the browser. With all of these pros and cons, I figured I just might as well try one at least for a few often used apps and websites. See how I like it and if happy, I’ll add the rest. Since Samsung Pass is already on my phone I’ve already trusted them with Samsung Pay, I figured let’s try them first. However, I’m getting frustrated that it’s not working with the apps and possibly a few websites. Please help! Thanks again for your videos!

Hi, i have a lot of passwords and websites on my Samsung pass, if I reset the phone to factory settings will all of my passwords sync to the phone through the app.
I am user challenged. I have an A51. Can I use pass on Google. I like using Google saved passwords. But now I need to enter my passwords. I guess autofill is not an option. So activating this app work for me? Also, must I unlock my screen every time I open this device
You said this is only for Samsung Oreo devices, and currently my S6 edge plus has always had Samsung Pass since April and it's on Nougat.
Ok good to know. From what I could find it said it was added in the Oreo framework but maybe it was there from before.

I would love to see a video where you talk about how you feel about the Note 9 versus the S10. I know the S10 is a lot newer but I'm trying to decide between the S series and the Note series overall.
What about certain banking apps like chase that don't give you an option?

I don't get the option to save with Samsung pass anymore. I maybe chose not to use it once, but now that i want to use it I the option doesn't popup. Any ideas on how to fix?

i dont get it. I had facebook twice, facebook showed up twice, and netflix in samsung pass. I deleted all data in samsung pass. now when I log out of facebook all I have to do is tap my profile pic and it logs me in, so what was samsung pas doing?

I tried to do that so I could add a password but whenever I try to go to the option to choose a security type it tells me to verify my identity and scan my fingerprint or put in a backup password. It doesn't recognize any of my fingerprints though and none of my passwords work and it times me out saying I attempted too many times. Idk what to do but I really want security on my phone. I used to have a fingerprint and a password but my parents made me remove them and now it won't let me add them back. Anyone know what to do or how to help? It'd be greatly appreciated

Just search for the Samsung Pass app and in there you will find the list of saved passwords. When you click on one you can delete it from the list.
