In this video, I'm not focusing on high scores, but rather the aesthetic combat system of Resident Evil 4 Remake.

also the kick in 5:22 was cool almost like what Leon re6 was gonna do if he was in this situation .
It's kinda odd they didn't add his RE6 outfit, considering deluxe edition gives you his cut RE6 Handgun.
Yes, for anyone who didn't know, the Sentinel Nine was supposed to be Leon's Handgun in RE6, but it got cut and replaced with the "Wingshooter" which was a weird mishmash gun that mostly resembled the VP70, aka the Matilda.
The Sentinel Nine did at least appear in the movie Vendetta which takes place after 6.(Tokyo Marui also made a airsoft replica)
Actual good player showcasing actual skill and something actually interesting, ultra rare these days. Well done.
I wish Professional had these enemies that stagger after a headshot. Or at least after two...
@@MultiNatla they do if you use... a fully upgraded Red9! Yeah the beginning in Professional is torture having to shoot enemies 4-5 times in the head to stagger them
@cyber_xiii3786 Red9 is good, but a TMP or Bolt thrower be staggering like crazy on pro mode for me.

I think that this game has to much potential to be continiously popular and capcom should definetly dig in to that by consistantly making updates with more merceneries maps,enemies and side character storylines

@@xauthorityThey might do another dlc or not. It's more to do so about just focusing on another RE entry than not knowing its possibilities , since early next year is said to be the announcement dunno if it's also release

Waiting for RE6 remake. All player's story connected with full horror remake.
I like this type of mercenaries run better than the optimized for points ones that do boring tactics like dumping every weapon except the sniper and fish for mayhem mode, this one looks more organic and fun.
In a different timeline where Lord Saddler killed John Wick´s dog:
Maybe RE4 Is a best, but RE6 have best combat melee, if u Lost all ammo, you can push R1 + R1 + R1 execution. If you Lost in RE5 all ammo, you have only weak knife. RE6 Is a best action horror in series.
You can also slide and counter hit them to death lmao, I always do some freestyle when dodging some attacks.
And I still play that game, it's combat is so cool.
Agree'd, most of the times I find myself meleeing enemies regardless of ammo tho, I like saving the ammo for enemies that are a pain to melee

Is there a reason you do not go for bonus times or use your Mayhem more often? Can you still get a higher score if you don't collect the time ones, for example?
It’s just preference. I like killing normal and using mayhem as emergency.Actually, I dont aim for high score but just enjoy the gameplay mechanics. There is specific method to get high score. This involves using sniper and spamming headshots and knife kills. They rack you more points.
I could play RE4R mercenaries for ever! I kinda wish for an unlimited waves mode, I could be there for like 10 hrs EASY!

Any game that came out from 2011-2013 got shit on for no reason. Except for GTA V . Which still kinda got shitted on but not for anything wrong with it's game.
One question, when you play the campaign are you an aggressive player or a stealth player?
Aggressive. But in professional mode. Have to be more careful. I have yet to try the berserker mod to see what kind of gameplay I can do.

I just got re4R and i hate it, león feels slow and the weapons nerfed as hell but in your video he seems like a juggernaut and the pistol is actually usuful plus it stuns on 1 hit instead of 2-3 shot, leon will feel better to control as you play the story?
In mercenary it only takes one headshot to stagger. The fast leon is because of sprint mod that I applied.

Tips.
If the enemy had dynamite or molotov in their hands, you can shoot it to inflict the damage to them. (depends on your luck in aiming)
my luck is so bad that when I threw a grenade it collided with an axe and landed right in front of me

I really hate that Capcom took away instant Stagger Animation in RE4R. In the OG, no matter the difficulty, shooting head or leg with 1 bullet, they were staggered. But now, only 2-4 bullets needs to stagger them. For my opinion, it's a foolish decision.
They want to make it more terrifying
