The pugilist world is ruled by the powerful Wen clan, which dominates over the smaller Lan, Jiang, Nie and Jin households. I love how LZ can basically see through WWX by this point. Knows when he's lying and when he's not. When he's teasing and when he's not. When he's injured and holding it in. And when he's fine but still takes care of him. Etc. So cute! And he also now knows that WWX is not actually all that frivolous and loyal to a fault. So he knows he didn't do something stupid to get a mark on him. It had to have been for another, better reason. That he can figure it out so easily because he now knows WWX vs the front WWX puts up, makes me happy. It's how he can take care of him accordingly. I love how LZ now trusts WWX.
