I can say that a few things do seem to have changed like new Metro, new overbridges/underpasses either completed or under construction, couple of new buildings here & there but the "principle feel" of the city is still the same... Nice to see after so long..😊
It was much better then, I am returning to Pune after 15 years can see the huge difference and I miss old Pune. Now its so crowded, this guy must have shot this during corona, even at 1am at night or 6am in morning its crowded now a days.

In case all cities are turning bad, it means our govt representatives as well as social communities are not on right track. 34 years of liberalisation , opening up of economy doesn’t only mean more jobs but it needs to turn into better living . Here we see city as whole is going down on pollution, water, traffic, cleaniless and weather indices.
nah dude, Pune never wanted to compete with BLR, it is just that initially companies were setting themselves up in Pune as it is in MH and it naturally grew into an IT hub as it has many pockets where you can find IT companies established. If the MH government has a foolproof plan to develop this city in IT, then I am pretty sure it will surpass BLR very easily even in 5 years. I have been to BLR and to Pune and all I can say is both are very different cities. Pune feels very calm (Yes weird to say but kinda true in this case) as compared to BLR, BLR is the worst as I always felt hostile as an outsider, Me being Marathi I know how we welcome our fellow Indians to our cities but BLR and even Chennai was very weird. Idk how to say it, but maybe they looked down upon us who go there for office or business purposes.

This place is the old pune center of pune Full of small Shops of garments. This area is not developed Other areas like pimpri, balewadi Where I went is more developed with big malls. I also like nagpur but it's very hot there I was there in 2011.
