Man, those 1997-2000 V10s just sound so clean, the cars look so sleek and on the onboards the cars look like they’re fun to drive, albeit not as fast as today’s cars. I wish I was born in that age to see these cars live.
The fact that we now have this exact sound for various FW19 mods on Assetto Corsa is nothing short of incredible. One of the best sounding engines of all time imo.
This high RPM's range reminds me at the simillar in the McLaren MP4/13. If the RPM's ranges in early '90s was of 12000, 13000 RPM's, in this car the range is a little high: 14000, 15000, or even 16000 during the tests.

The 90s-early 10s was the peak of F1
@@Blight225 that's a pretty long peak
the first V10's in 1995-1997 are great, not that high pitched like the 2000's
@@MDE_never_dies facts that hybrid v6 sound garbage compared to the 80s v6s

Renault sport always made the best sounding v10’s
I agree, also the Mercedes engine was also a dream sound.
Oh yeah right on I so agree with you.
Don't think anyone thought watching the 97 season that it would be the last title Williams could win.
Very smooth those downshifting...

1981-1997 is my era
