  • Short video giving likes and advantages of both the Yamaha Zuma and Honda Trail 125. I have both and I like them both for different reasons. The Honda has been a better trail bike and easier to handle in the woods, but the Zuma is easier to get on and off of, and easier to drive since you just turn the throttle and go.

    Thanks for the review. My wife is short so we were thinking the Zuma would be better but we also wanted to do a bit of trail riding to so we are trying to weigh it all out.

      Thanks for watching. I've taken my Zuma on lots of trails including single tracks. Does well as long as you don't have to jump any logs or obstacles.

    My bride and I operate 2x 2021 Trail 125s from Minneapolis suburbs - each has about 4K miles.
    Operated these babies in the badlands, black hills, near and in Cheyenne/Fort Collins, most recently in Arkansas ozarks. Promise your bride will grow to enjoy once accustomed

      Hope so, thanks for the comment and watching. Only supposed to be 14 degrees here in PA today so I guess riding will have to wait

    Love your Belmont trailer. 6x10? I've got a 5x10 with standard tailgate and ramp. LOVE that thing - will never sell it!

    Curious with the tubed tires of the trail if it would be an issue with a flat ? They are better for off-road riding but tubeless can be repaired roadside easier . Thoughts ?

      I agree. Would much rather work with tubeless. Knock on wood so far haven’t had to worry about it, been over some pretty rough terrain and so far no flats. Probably just jinxed myself. Thanks for watching.

    Is the zuma seat more comfortable than the Honda?

    • @gregghershberger7968
      @gregghershberger7968  3 месяца назад

      I would have to say the Zuma is because it's bigger and because it is open in the middle you can adjust your position easier.

    Good video. What county in PA are you in? I'm in Indiana county. I'm considering a Zuma 125.

      I live in Franklin County about 1 mile north of the Maryland border. I'm lucky, the Michaux State Forest with hundred miles of forest roads is only about 5 miles from me. Thanks for watching.

    If you didn't have that 'tank' bag on the Honda your wife could step through. It is a little higher but also narrower so it should be no problem for her.

      I didn't have that on. She just can't stand flat footed and doesn't feel comfortable not being flat footed. She had a Honda 90 in our younger days, but now we are 69 years old and just doesn't feel she can ride safely.

      @@gregghershberger7968 XT is a better road machine but the TW will handle all the rough stuff while you're sitting down. Unstoppable.
      Which ever one ya choose, ride it for a hour or so to get it good and hot then change the oil. Don't wait for 600 miles. You'll find a lot of 'junk' in that first oil change (filter too).

    Obviously you prefer riding on trails, so a trail bike is more for you versus a motor scooter, which is great for intercity riding. 🛵💨💨
