I have done 325000 miles on my e220 w212 facelift... i was thinking to change my car because of gearbox.. it was messing not changing gear on time but u saved me .. after resetting its smooth like new... i am still gonna use it now.. thanks bro..

@@ayoubyouala5866it has learned ur driving style, if u drive harder it will wait to change gears but since you dont give so much gas it will try to keep the rpms low totally normal

I reset the automatic transmission following your procedure but for an older model w211 and it worked great (at that time you owned a w211). Now I can see you changed your car. Maybe it's off topic, but what is your opinion about w212, is w212 much better than w211?

I drive a 2010 w212. Gear shifts from D to park when coming to a stop exactly 5mph to be precise. Reversing is almost impossible as it’s at that same speed. Was wondering if this resetting would work. I don’t know what exactly the problem is some say is auxiliary batter, EIS, the list goes on. I Just wanna make the right move rather than getting misdiagnosed by the dealership and spending ridiculous amounts

Nah this reset process didn’t work. I Changed the valve bcos Mercedes diagnosis said that was the issue. It still didn’t work only stopped changing to P during the day and once it’s night when the headlights are on it’s started changing to P. I’m gonna change the EIS(electric ignition system) soon as I’m suspecting it’s an electrical problem. Hopefully that works @@taharafai1644
Hi, I ended up getting the car fixed at the dealer.
The end result was to replace the EIS Ignition Starter Module (the thing the key goes into)

Hi i'm drive my W212. I found that my odo meter not tally with digital meter while driving ( example here digital speed show 40km\h BUT the meter pointer left behind a bit..36km\h. So i checked with the GPS and drive, the digital number is accurate to the speed. Engine run smooth as normal. Any issue with that?

Hi, I have changed the throttle on my car and the car changed gears perfectly without any problem,but then after two days the car changed does not gears completely normal but i was at workshop and they diagnosed the gearbox and found the wrong code message on the throttle and it was deleted but now the car shifts gears down from 7-6-5 in 70-80 km up small hills and sometimes jerks from 1000-3000 on low gears or sometimes 6th gears get stuck at 70 km while I give gas. Do you have any suggestions on this.
My GLS450 2017 won't shift from drive to reverse unless turned off and won't shift from reverse to drive unless turned of can this procedure work for it?

@@AmazingRoad Мерс 212 2013г.в. рист.,я один хозяин. У меня началось с 65000 и вот два года мучаюсь с толчками в акпп с 2 на 3 и с 5 на 4 .сейчас пробег 100 тыс. Поменял масло не 77(на 78 тыс.первый раз) и не 78 как советуют ,а 69 на 100 тыс.(второй раз) ,толчек с 5 на 4 ушел полностью,с 2 на 3 остался.До этого обновил ПО двигателя и коробки.Завтра еду обнулять все параметры.Знаю одно,что фирма мерседес не права и эти машины должны быть отзывные,из за АКПП 7G,не ожидал от производителя такого косяка .
