That's me too. I have about fifteen, I'm 71, not very well and they are tremendous companions. Only one was adopted from a shelter, the rest just turned up having been abandoned or whatever and we make things right for them, trying to right the wrongs they have suffered.
I have a semi feral cat I got as a kitten. At first she didn't want me touching or picking her up. I just let her run free around my apartment and play with my ginger cat. One day I was sitting and watching TV. She got up on the couch and sat there looking at me. I carefully reached out to her. She smelled of my hand and I scratched her head. She then crawled in my lap and went to sleep. She is one of the sweetest cats I've ever had. She still runs and hides when anyone comes over. 😻
The same thing happened with my semi feral cat. When I was finally able to get him in the carrier and got him fixed, he changed a lot. He was just on the couch next to me staring at me until I paid attention to him.
I had cat that would hide when company came. I gave them cat treats to offer him each time they came over. Soon he came running to them expecting treats. When he passed they all cried and grieved with me. Bittersweet
She's right! Girl you're right. My GF through a combination of affection, clever and new ways of play, and intuition too I think, has her Tuxedo boy trained alright. He follows her, wants to be wherever she is, sleeps on her bed right next to her head. Whenever the GF has to leave overnight, even if i'm there to care for him, he mopes about, seems lost, and even used to cry sometimes. He's gotten better lately as me and Tuxedo boy gotten closer, but they've bonded exactly like a dog and owner.
Even when they drop a dead mouse in your bed at 3 am. & the wife screaming the house down.? ( might be able to laugh at it now but it wasn't funny then )
I’ve had cats all of my life up to a few years ago. I was always quiet and shy and cats were attracted to me, in our house I was the cat person. I haven’t got a cat now, 78 years and poor health have stopped that. I miss them so much.
I'm 65 and also always had at least one cat. I've had this fellow for 6 years but he will be my last one. The costs associated with caring for him will be a strain when I'm just on pension plus I fear dying first and no one will find him for days and when they do, I fear they will stick him in a shelter and he'll be caged for ages. I have no surviving family and no friends that would be in a position to take him (they are aging too). I wish there was a special agency that would take on senior's pets after senior dies, and find them homes by first fostering them and not putting them in kennels These agencies could even arrange for adoption for the future.....willing future owners for the pet so the senior could rest knowing their pet has a home to go to.
@ that is a good point. I have an emergency pendant that rings for help if I need it, but what if you die in your sleep? Poor puss is there on his own. My eldest son texts me every night, if I don’t answer he will find out why. I have tried to think of every contingency.
Having a cat will extend your life, if you rescue/adopt an older cat you will give cuddles and happiness to it. There is no finer companion than an older puss who chooses you as their loyal human and honors you by curling up on your lap. All you can ever do for a cat is your best.
I have to say that many cats are very different. I had adopted a cat, because she kept following me around and meowing at me. This was at my work. Many others seen this cat and would feed her. They try to pet her but she would not let them. She would walk away from them all. But not me. So, I took her home and 5 days later she had kittens. Now, being a Marine, I am very hard on discipline. To make a long story short, we have created a bond and we learn to show love for each other.
My furry family member feline is named FossieMae. A long haired Tuxedo. I have had both dogs and cats as companions. Fossie is by far the best pet i’ve ever had in my entire life. Truly a loveable creature. She comes when i call her, eats when i eat, happily follows me around my property, cautiously stays out of the street, loves to hang out in the morning time while i drink coffee or tea, and never fusses over anything, and is gentle…As a bonus she keeps the rodent population at bay. A great hunter and has also alerted me on two occasions of dangerous rattlesnakes. I am blessed to have her in my home.
You should be keeping your cat inside the house. Why would you want to risk your cat being hit by a car, bitten by a snake, attacked by a predator? Cats do not understand that a car can kill them. There are cruel people out there who will try to hurt cats. Please stop telling yourself that your cat is safe outside because she isn’t. She is the one who will suffer, not you.🙏🏻🐈
My cat has found another home, I found him after an extensive 10 day search. He is happy in his new home despite them having a small dog and another cat. He is still friendly towards me. He has been gone now for about a month and in that time has made only 2 brief visits to me. He doesn't seem to want to come home, now I visit him at his new home and give his new family food. I have another cat who he used to boss around.
The cat I owned (?) for years moved once with our family decided he didn't like our new home so he just moved down the street. I think they just do that.
Whatever a young kitten learns first is what it becomes: if it is loved at a very young age, it will be a loving trusting cat. I found Snowy, abandoned on the street when she was only about 5 weeks old. Afraid, crying, and already developing feral tendencies, I brought her home, she wouldn't let me touch her, so after 5 days, I just grabbed her and smothered her in hugs. She started crawling under the covers to snuggle, she does it every night, and it's the ONLY time she purrs. But I am the ONLY human she allows to come close. She's now 3, and she still snuggles every night.
I found that with my interaction with this one female cat, the cat was 1 of 3 - towards the end of me seeing her - she became quite the possessive one. Not only once the cat waited in the heavy rain for my arrival, she also shood away the other female cat. pure love.
My cat got ran over. I found him in the neighbor's yard. I nursed him back to health. He NEVER used his claws. He hated playing with claws that involved me. He wouldn't even bite me. The most he'd do was nip me. That was his way of telling me I was hurting him. Cause of the injury he didn't like being petted on the back (where most cats like it) We bonded so much he'd bring rats and mice into the house if I left the door open and let them loose just so I could watch him catch them.
Wow, what an incredible story! It’s so heartwarming to hear how you nursed him back to health and built that special bond. It’s amazing how resilient and loving cats can be, even after going through something so traumatic. Your cat was lucky to have you, and it sounds like he brought a lot of joy into your life too!
I'm thankful that my cat has always been healthy, she is many years old now & our bond gets stronger every day ! I sometimes play with her & she won't claw me hard & her bites are no pressure bites, on the odd occasion she might catch me with a claw. She follows me everywhere, where ever I am around the house or garden, she is there, she even curls up on the bath mat whilst i'm in the tub. My cat also is not keen on her back being touched.
That's a massive question, I have 5 cat's now (feicin 5 too many) but I will put them in age rank' Mollie, Max, Suzie. Basil and Charles, you cannot pet any of these cats the same way, fair enough Max and Suzie just like general petting but touch 'Bazza or Chazza' in the wrong place, they will react? Mollie is different, she probably has old wounds thar she doesn't like you touching, but you are 'open season' the right side of her head. Basil has a very twitchy tail and DO NOT pet or stroke him below the neck, even around his head, the tail will tell you if it's acceptable and 'Chazza' well, he just bust in the door with the rest of them one day? Complete surprise, decided he's staying and rolled around at my feet, later rolled around having peed on my feet, delighted with himself? Worst of all. I was 'doing my business' lately and both both Bazza abd Chazza cruised by and mugged me, then they went away and I heard the sound of cat's scratching, yes, they both defecated in my hallway, just being friendly? To think they had been crapping outdoors like animals all these years? Then I showed them. There was a big 'cat deposit' beside the toilet yesterday, presumably because Basil cannot lift the lid but don't mind about that; the bath-mat was also soaking? Cats, wee shites that they are
People who are just like them. My neighbors cat visits me almost everyday. I give him a treat and let him hang out in my place a bit. Then he walks out the door back home. I believe in giving space, independence of movement, and allowing some time to miss their presence.
We've had cats for 25 of the 27 years we've been married. My wife brought home the first rescued kitten. He'd been found in a box on the side of the road, just him and his sister. Whilst we probably should have taken them both, it was a new experience for me having a cat, and we weren't sure how the dogs we had at the time would react. I initially pretty much ignored him, which is apparently the best way to get the cat's attention because I quickly became his favorite piece of furniture (and his favorite hooman). We would play, wrestle, meow (talk) to one another. My wife was so jealous because she'd wanted the cat and I was just there. Oh, and he was great friends with the dogs, and they all played very well together. Long story less lengthy version, we've now cared for five (5) cats during our marriage and currently have two (2), with the male cat once again being very bonded with me, much to my wife's chagrin. And we've fostered and found forever loving homes for eighteen (18) kittens, all rescues. So I guess being the calm, introspective type does go a long way toward getting cats to approve of a person.
Wow, your journey with cats and rescues is so heartwarming! It's amazing how you’ve opened your home and hearts to so many cats and kittens over the years. The bond you describe with your first rescue and now the current male cat is so touching - it’s clear they recognize your calm, caring nature. Your efforts with fostering and finding homes for 18 kittens are incredibly inspiring. Thank you for being such a loving advocate for these animals!
@alexanderbreeding1830 Thank you for your first experience with two cats 🐈⬛. You said, I should have taken them both , so what happened to the sister of the male kitten ?
Perfect. I am one of those calm, relaxed people cats love. The craziest part is that because I'm a dog person, I don't approach cats. Because of this, they approach me on their terms and absolutely love me.
This happens to me to. Truthfully, I'm no cat person, I just ignore them, and just let them be who and what they are, a cat. Then they start following me around all over the place and won't let me alone. I miss my little Sheltie Collie since she died last year.
Actually yes A.I. girl you're absolutely right about giving a cat space! For almost 2 years i tried to force interaction w my kitty, but didn't realize I was doing it. The more I did the faster she ran off. Then I realized how wrong it was and just started almost ignoring her. She hated when I touched her while sleeping, I stopped doing that. She didn't like being approached for pets, stopped that too. Now, instead of all that, every time she approaches ME I rewarded her with praise, scritches and squish treats. Now she's becoming an all new cat completely, because i have been keeping to this "ignore cat just let cat approach" way...!
You nailed it everything you said perfect. I’ve had cats my entire life, and this is exactly what some people cannot seem to understand about them. For me, it’s always been very simple. And probably the reason every cat I’ve ever met has been crazy about me. Fantastic video.
Cats have always been drawn to me, and I consider it an honour. My cat and I bonded quite quickly, and our bond has grown stronger and stronger over the past 16 years. I give him as much space as he wants and needs, although he loves to be with me more than he likes to be alone.
Over the years, we were always kind of like our own little animal shelter. Little critters in trouble ( and some not so little ) always seemed to find us, or us them, and we loved them all, and gave them good homes for the rest of their lives. Someone told me once " Do you have any idea how much money all those animals cost you ?" I told them I didn't care, and that no matter how much we loved and cared for them, that they had given us so much more than we had given them. I recently lost my little girl. I had her for 21 years ( equivalent to 100 in human years ). We got to be like those old married couples you hear about, where one always knows what the other one is thinking. I had her since she was born, and I named her " Malenki " which means little in Ukrainian. All it took was a look, or a certain little cat noise, and I instantly knew what she wanted. She never liked to be picked up, but would often come to me on her terms, and I accepted that that was just her way. Although she did show a lot of affection with always wanting to be where Dad was, and often, even being near enough to see me, was good enough. Lots of little head bumps though, as that seemed to be her favourite way to show her affection. I am in the process of getting another cat. My plan is to adopt the local animal shelter's oldest / been there the longest cat - by some standards, the more " unadoptable " ones, but not for me. I'm a disabled senior, and one of these precious little ones are much more in sync with my lifestyle. One oldy looking after another, I guess you could say. As my " older girls / boys " pass away, I'll get another similar one from our local animal shelter, and keep doing that until it's my time. I've included this in my estate planning for a long time, and the animal shelter knows - when I go - to come and get whatever cat I may have at the time, and give them a good home for the rest of their life. I have left them plenty of money to do that, with lots left over to look after other little ones in need. None of us knows exactly how long we may have left, but I can't think of any better way for me to spend my remaining time. Thanks for listening.
That is the loveliest thing I have ever read....I am a senior with an incurable illness, I would truly love another cat but have been trying to do without because of my illness. You have inspired me and made me realise that if the right arrangements are made in the event of my death it is the right thing to do to get another feline friend....Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.
I let my cats pretty much do their own thing.I don't pick them up or hold them because I know they don't like that.they sleep with me and love snuggles. They are also strays that ended up at my house and decided to stay.
It’s great that you respect your cats' boundaries and let them choose how they interact,It’s so sweet that the strays chose your home as their own. Sounds like they know they’re in a safe and loving place.
Yep...my furfolk are free to interact with me on their terms. I never pick them up or hold them against their will. They choose the cuddle time and duration! We all know who's in charge and where we belong in the hierarchy! I am at the bottom 😂😂😂.
Yes, nothing is more cringeworthy than watching dog people try to force affection on a cat, then criticize them for not immediately taking to them. I love dogs and cats, but I think of a stranger's dog immediately loving you like going to a strip club. It's fake. A cat is like trying to woo a partner. You have to develop trust.
I live in an assisted living facility. Just a few days ago I ran across the maintenance man as he was walking his car. The cat ran right up to me, for no reason I could see, and befriended me. The maintenance man was surprised because the cat never treats anyone like that. I was pleased though, because I've loved cats since my childhood. It was nice.
I've always been a cat guy. My parents wouldn't let me have a cat. At 12, my first cat walked right up to me, and they relented, the tears may have had somethingto do with it. She made it to 20. Cats have done this to me while on vacation as well. My favorite story is meeting a potential client at his condo. They had two cats. One of them walked up to me, rubbed my legs, and followed me around, eventually sitting next to me on the sofa. The look on my client's face was spectacular. He said that cat NEVER does this with strangers. He just runs and hides. I told him that cats know cat people.
we have 2 cats, best ones we have owned, and in our mid 70's, we have a cat or 2 in our lives....I even had a cat in Nam..it was our units cat, he stayed inside our comm. center.
What a wonderful story! Cats truly bring joy and comfort, no matter where we are in life-or even in the world. Having a unit cat in such a setting must have been a unique and heartwarming experience. They have a way of making every place feel like home. It's clear you've always had a special connection with them.
@@caiamecat our 2 cats are the best we have owned, they do NOT, bite, scratch, hiss, we can pet their bellies all day without getting bit. Tar was a stray/feral, Kirby we got from a girl who was getting married and had to give her away. Appreciated your comment!
I've always gotten along well with other's cats. They seem to sense I can be trusted. My grandmother had 2 siamese cats who she said were very shy, and they would come out and come visit me. As told in the video, I never pushed them but let them come to me when they were ready.
This video really made me think about my relationship with my cat! 😺 It’s so true that cats love people who respect their space and give them attention on their terms. My cat definitely prefers calm vibes over loud noises.
A cat outside observed me over a few weeks. She decided i was ok just after i adopted 2 kittens. Wish she had been faster as 4 years later she is still outside the mother and grandmother of all my yard cats. She would still love to come in and sadly it wont work. Already took in one of her daughters badly hurt to save her life.
I really love cats, and cats from around my area visit me most days. Some of them scratch on my window to get my attention, and I go out and give them some crunchies. Amazing creatures.
I'm an introvert that's autistic. Most cat's have liked me. I've almost always had cats. This video is very accurate. You do have to earn a cat's trust before they love you.
Cats are very beautiful, intelligent creatures . I am , differently ,a cat person... I have a cat called George 😽 & We have got a very special bond, because we understand each other & respect each other.. This as affirm it ❤ Thank you for your interesting video. Much enjoy watching 😊
Basically cats love whoever is feeding them at the time, in between meals they will condescend to show some attention/affection when they feel like it, or not as the mood takes them.
I’ve had cats all of my 62 years . Respect for them is what I think ,it takes to make friends with a cat . Pay attention to their body language . If they don’t like being picked up don’t picked them up . If they don’t like being patted then don’t do it . Eventually they will see that you are trusting their messages and just maybe you can pick them for a minute or two . If they want down let them go . They will come back again . I had feral cats that I could pick up and cuddle with after some time .
My first cat was a bottle baby found in alley. A people person. All who entered were required to pay attention to her or she would not leave them alone til they did. A group of visitors she would greet one at a time. If they brought a dog, she would put them in their place fast.😂Some of the cats I've had had to say hello to everyone and some would take their time. Others could care less then finish their nap. I have an active breed so they like activity. I go outside and they watch me. Red cats seem to be the most teddybearish when I'm in bed and maul me.
Before I knew it was an actual thing, I did the “slow blinking” back to my cat not long after we got her. It wasn’t long before she started gravitating towards me more more and more soon after
Cats prefer people who will feed them, look after them and do as they're told by their feline friends. Nothing wrong with that, at least that's the correct state of affairs. I have two little panthers, brothers, to look after, they know who's the boss in the house and it isn't me.
Cats are attracted to me. I've been blessed with loving cats the last 30 years. I had to put down my pal this last June. I've got a huge hole in my heart. I'm almost ready to rescue a cat that will rescue me 😊
I always consider cats to be 'honest' creatures. They easily recognize affection or disdain from humans around them. This influences the type of relationship they will decide to have with you. Not to be hound-bashing, but dogs, in contrast, will give you 'loyalty in a can' no matter how you are towards them.
Cats also are attracted to people who respect them and let them be how they are.I have 3 spoiled cat daughters who have 3 distinct personalities.I never scold them or belittle them.I let them be how they are and they come to me when they choose and they are happy and well adjusted.
No 2 cats are the same, and no 1 cat is the same from one hour to the next. Some neighborhood cats will come right to me, while others either run the other way, or come to me just to claw me.
I had a Norwegian Forest cat. She was very possessive of me. She hated my ex-wife so much that every time she went into heat she would spray he. "He's mine b---h."
I'll add that raising a cat may turn you to such person, if you are a flexible person who willing to learn a lesson or to in life, you can benefit and learn from you cat, how to be calm, gentle, and more aware of others energies.
Very nice. I have to remind myself not to get too excited when I’m frustrated by some thing or another when home alone with my little girl. Here’s an untitled poem I wrote: I watch my cat watching out the window. I meditate on the nature of her manners. The meditating morphs into musings while music occupies the air. That’s when my amusement incarnates into prayer. Title anyone?
It’s funny because while I tend to be calm generally and quiet overall, I also am short-tempered. But I seem to be most favorite of our cat, while husband is least. He likes all of us but they constantly make jealous comments about how the cat wants me and must seek out me. And clearly our son is the middle, as cat will cuddle to him and lounge over him more than my husband. I’d say overall we’re all about the same temperament and personality, too. Son will play much with the cat, I did some. Can’t fully explain except maybe he likes female first.
My first rescue was sleeping on me the first night, and my other rescue always rolls on his back when im petting him for belly rubs, he sleeps on me too
If you don't want to learn, skip this reaction... you can save about 8 minutes. Well that would be me (for example). No to boast, even as a child the cats in our house would come to me the most. But much later, about 20 years later the first cat of my own came, following one of the cats from my girlfriend. I saw him (then about 4 months old) and came within a few minutes, I knew this cat would be mine. And he kwew too. Just about a year of 2 before, on of my girlfriends cats, chose to like me. Yes my girl and me had a L.A.T. relation by then. So I was there about twice a week. And yes also the other cats accepted me... but my girl and her children stared with open mouths, that that cat, chose me, to lie on my chest for the rest of the evening. And I did not even do anything for his attention. After our separation with my ex, me and my pushka/ poeshka, the little 10 month old went to live with my parents for 1,6 years. During that time, new neighbours arived. Even before knowing this family, I saw a black cat climbing ou of a (probably) bedroom roofwindow. And who did he met at first? That would of course be me. We became friends. But also my mother liked him... and when the neighbouring husband en wife deforced (after I lived on my own in a rentalhouse) The former ex- husband was more of a dogman, and his former wife had a house for rent in walking distance (I guess a little more than half a mile away)... But the cat (Cola ...a very good name for his color a littel black and very dark brown) kept coming back at the husband , that wished Cola no harm, but he was working on an oilplatform... so he could not feed the cat for often 3 months. And yes my mother liked Cola a lot. Asked the neigbour if she can have that cat. And she could, with the prommise that his children could pet him again, when they were there. But I was very okay that Cola lived at my parents, when they were on holiday, I alwayst took care of Cola. But in between another kitten came to me, in the neighbourhood I, stil lived in. She was about 3 months old, and even some neighbours thought he was a little drifter. So I took here in, and I was inmidiatly her favourate person. She was always very frightened, to people, dogs and most other cats. Only not to me. Yes she turned her belly to me within a week. But she got pregnand, had 3 kittens... two of them got a new owner, but one of them, was rejected becouse he was not potty trained at the moment, and did not eat dry food than... and as an extra, he was so clumsy... every door that was at least a little bit open... his paw ended op to it, and this little heroe was hurt again. So, I decided to keep him, when others did not want to. I called him Ollie/ Olly And I never did regret it. Meanwhile a red cat came to me too, through the bed room window. settled next to me, looked at me as if asking... pet me. Meanwhile Ollie became older. En neighbouring cat that liked do be in my garden too... hit Ollie in Ollies birth house. Yes the other cat (Joy, but not a female) has probably already forgotten what he did to Ollie... but on a late summer day... Ollie dit remeber it all... vengeance was his (eventhough he still was the smallest cat in the neighbourhood) And Joy was still the bully of the neighbour hood. Well that ended, when Ollie seeked for revenge. It took about 2 or 3 minutes before Joy took of, and and never came back to my garden, alhough I liked Joy. But his humans moved out of this neighbourhool. But I do not think that flight had anything to do with it. - Unfortunately mother cat and her brave son Ollie died of cancer. - Poeshka died too, from a disease I never expected; anemia. Had I know vetenarian knowledge, maybe I could save him. - After the death of my parents 2017/ 2019 I took Cola in. He had some wonderful years with us. And like all the other cat of me loved, he loved to walk around the block, with me and the cat pack! Sometimes it took 10 minutes, when I would do it on my own, just walking... it would not be more than about 4 minutes. But hey...having several cats following me... sometimes even 7 tails pointing in the air, I must have done something very well.
When i take my cat for a walk every evening, about 3 or 4 other neighbourhood cats will join us on our walks. There is one stupid feral cat that like to come along and ruin everything by hissing and attacking. Luckily we don' see him too often.
Our Siamese cat Enki loves us .. he reaches out to touch us..lays with his head and paws on us or snuggles as close as he can... he especially loves my husband and sits on his lap to be rocked
I'm a 59-year-old male. When I was young, I never thought I would get along with cats. I found them to be too stand-offish. Then around the year 2000, I moved to a religious Jewish neighborhood in West Los Angeles and a cat walked into my apartment. It was a neighbor's cat, but he hung out with me all the time, slept with me and followed me wherever I went. I have no idea why. Ever since then, all the cats I've owned have taken daily walks and hikes with me. I did not train them to do this. And they take walks with me without a leash. All my neighbors point and stare at me in disbelief. If you think I am making this up, I will post a video of my current cat walking with me around our neighborhood. I have had different types of animals, like dogs, chickens, horses, deer and wild boars, also follow me around. I am not sure why this is going on. I am not making any of this up. Thank you for listening to me.
so i have 3 🐈 cats, to get me up in the morning one just stares waiting for movement, one is asleep with it's head under my chin, and one licks my nose 👃 with a stratchy tongue 👅, they ignore my husband 🙄 because he's not getting up 🤷♀️ just ya just love em 😂
Not true…I am a nervous person who is always stressed. I am also a cat magnet. I have had many cats over the years from strays to cats with homes come to my yard and literally beg me to take them in! Perhaps they understand me and know that I will never harm them and actually love them all. Both of my sweet old ex street cats died this year after living many years with me. I am beyond devastated.
So ; you bond with a cat like you would with a human kind of makes you think. My first kitty girl Rayne was my 1st attempt at bonding; the Lil kitten stayed outside and seemed to be scared ,but curious of me. I saw her hide and run ; She never let me too close until a week or two later when Rayne Jest seemed to relax and come close. I watched as she walked up ,and jest seemed to wait for me to do something. I went to pick her up, and she let me,so I did and put her right down. This was the turning point, and after that, the trust was built ; Rayne came inside to live a few days later to stay. Me and her have been together for 6 years now and moved 3 times the final landing in West Virginia. I think if you just let things happen and respect your baby furs like you would another relationship, it will work out .
Cats are wonderful gifts from God
❤😍
I concur😊
Amen! 🙏
From the cat's point of view god should be spelled CAT.. . . .! ! ! !

Cats have the instinct to know people who are cat lovers... Cats are intellegent and smart being ❤❤❤
I've been a cat magnet all my 70 years. And I for sure am the quiet introvert type.
I am 73, same here!!! Manx are my favorites!!!
66. Live alone except for my cat's. 11 at the moment but I'm sometimes a loud introvert but they're use to it 😂
Good on ya! 👍😻👍

If you move along at their pace, they will be just as loving and loyal as any dog . 😻
100%!
So true - but of course cats make patient, calm people......even calmer!
so it's win win🤣🤣
Even when they drop a dead mouse in your bed at 3 am. & the wife screaming the house down.? ( might be able to laugh at it now but it wasn't funny then )
Calm peaceful introverts
👍👍
That's why they are pets😅
I'm not exactly introverted, but I don't go out of my way to interact until le cat shows interest.
Exactly.....❤...
Obedient servants.
I’ve had cats all of my life up to a few years ago. I was always quiet and shy and cats were attracted to me, in our house I was the cat person. I haven’t got a cat now, 78 years and poor health have stopped that. I miss them so much.
God bless you. I hope you’re able to find & keep a feline friend again, soon.
@ thank you George!
Happiness is being owned by a cat.
👍 you said it they keep us around as a loyal servant.😄 I have 8 masters and love everyone of them plus they are great entertainment.
Never a truer word was spoken ❤x
Why would you want to risk your
cat being hit by a car, bitten
by a snake, attacked by a predator? Cats do not
understand that a car can
kill them. There are cruel people out there who will
try to hurt cats. Please stop
telling yourself that your cat is safe outside because she
isn’t. She is the one who will
suffer, not you.🙏🏻🐈
My daughters cat was the best. It was definitely her cat, but we really bonded and became pals 😊
I love cats there calm detached nature soothes and relaxes me
A cat named Diesel was the best "dog" I ever had! RIP, little friend.
They love anyone who is a soft touch.
😢
Kindness and respect.
All this is so true cats are attracted to me too
My Spangles , who I have only recently adopted, is responding well to the direction you are offering me. And he is lovely.
Cause of the injury he didn't like being petted on the back (where most cats like it)
We bonded so much he'd bring rats and mice into the house if I left the door open and let them loose just so I could watch him catch
them.
❤
Wow, what an incredible story! It’s so heartwarming to hear how you nursed him back to health and built that special bond. It’s amazing how resilient and loving cats can be, even after going through something so traumatic. Your cat was lucky to have you, and it sounds like he brought a lot of joy into your life too!
They are best pets. Love my kitty babies ❤ meowee
Cats, wee shites that they are
Years ago, I went to a business house party. We were 15 people. House cat velcroed to me as I sat on the sofa.
Amazing explanation about cat behaviour. I must say, to be loved by a cat is more difficult than to be loved by a dog. Cats feel energy very strongly
@alexanderbreeding1830
Thank you for your first experience with two cats 🐈⬛.
😍🤗
What a beautiful legacy to leave, and a wonderful life of LOVE you are providing.
Good job. I like how you think.
Absolutely love cats they are gifts from God❤
People who are predictable, who provide food, treats and affection, who also sit still.
My cat hangs around with me. I recognize that she likes to be with me as much as I like to be with her. I love her and she loves me. Simple
I don't dare to say I had several cats in my life. I'd better say we lived together and shared same space :P)
Cats like chill people, people with calm demeanor’s and truly genuine people
we have 2 cats, best ones we have owned, and in our mid 70's, we have a cat or 2 in our lives....I even had a cat in Nam..it was our units cat, he stayed inside our comm.
Thank you for your service 🙏
My cats love me because I love them. I'm an animated person, not quiet and calm. But they know I adore them and they love me for that.
I've always gotten along well with other's cats. They seem to sense I can be trusted. My grandmother had 2 siamese cats who she said were very shy, and they would come out and come visit me. As told in the video, I never pushed them but let them come to me when they were ready.
I currently have 10 kitties. I love them all
This video really made me think about my relationship with my cat! 😺 It’s so true that cats love people who respect their space and give them attention on their terms. My cat definitely prefers calm vibes over loud noises.
Cats, dogs, birds, tarantulas, scorpions. Can’t seem to shake em’. 😂
I love cats. I love there independence. They love me. I am not consistent nor even tempered.
I'd rather spend a day with a cat over most people.
100 percent.
Cat lovers are drawn to cats because of these traits! I respect their independence!
my kitty teaches me what she needs the most, takes me awhile to get it, sometimes..., then practice makes perfect, so cute...
My friends cats always jump in my lap and I was like omg do I smell like tuna?😂Finally got my own cat!🐈⬛
Adopt a dog or cat today ❤
What about turtles?
@dunngyllite7883 sure. Why not ?
I know a lot of cats but they also yell at me and claim they are starving.
they are hygenic, they dont consume lots of food, they are sweet and cute playful hunters
I form fast bonds with cats, dogs, it's 50/50. I love them both.
Cats are very beautiful, intelligent creatures .
I am , differently ,a cat person...
I have a cat called George 😽
& We have got a very special bond, because we understand each other & respect each other..
This as affirm it ❤
Thank you for your interesting video.
Much enjoy watching 😊
The person that doesn’t like the cat. Not me, the one who feeds and pets him.🤣🙄
Im neither calm nor even tempered.
But i love cats, and cats love me.
Same
You hit the nail on the head with everything I heard you say!!! I love the Manx, man they are special!!!
"Dogs have owners. Cats have staff".
@paultaylor7082. That sounds like me.😃😃🤗🤗
Cats are attracted to me. I've been blessed with loving cats the last 30 years. I had to put down my pal this last June. I've got a huge hole in my heart. I'm almost ready to rescue a cat that will rescue me 😊
I’m so sorry for your loss, but it’s wonderful that you’re ready to open your heart to another furry friend.
0:49So that's how the Cat distribution system works
Cats also are attracted to people who respect them and let them be how they are.I have 3 spoiled cat daughters who have 3 distinct personalities.I never scold them or belittle them.I let them be how they are and they come to me when they choose and they are happy and well adjusted.
I have been blessed to have 3 cats and two dogs at various times throughout my life. 😊
See? Your cat was right. Should pay attention.
I'll add that raising a cat may turn you to such person, if you are a flexible person who willing to learn a lesson or to in life, you can benefit and learn from you cat, how to be calm, gentle, and more aware of others energies.
Being allergic to cats is the quickest way to get the attention of cats.
Cats love gentle, quiet people.
Very nice. I have to remind myself not to get too excited when I’m frustrated by some thing or another when home alone with my little girl. Here’s an untitled poem I wrote:
I watch my cat
watching out the window.
I meditate
on the nature of her manners.
The meditating
morphs into musings
while music
occupies the air.
That’s when my amusement
incarnates into prayer.
Title anyone?
Kind people.❤️🐈
It’s funny because while I tend to be calm generally and quiet overall, I also am short-tempered.
I tend to be a cat and dog magnet. I talk to them, but more interaction like petting i wait until they are ready for it.
1:33 absolutely true ! Owner of 5 amazing gurly cats and one huge tabby boy cat ! Everyday they will find a way to make me laugh !
I called him Ollie/ Olly
And I never did regret it.
Had I know vetenarian knowledge,
maybe I could save him.
Im miserable in life, but animals are my safe place. They know I'm empathetic towards animals.
I am cat whisperer. Cats always come up to me, even if they never do that with anyone else.
I'm a Cat AND a Dog magnet. I love them both. 😊
Just treat them good and they will pick up on that and respond in kind ,most of the time .
I think cats pick up your spiritual awareness.😇♥️😺If a cat does not like a person usually means not a very heart felt person.😼
Cats always geavitate to the person who doesnt like cats, the person ignoring them.
I approve of this video.
so i have 3 🐈 cats, to get me up in the morning one just stares waiting for movement, one is asleep with it's head under my chin, and one licks my nose 👃 with a stratchy tongue 👅, they ignore my husband 🙄 because he's not getting up 🤷♀️ just ya just love em 😂
If l was a cat l would chose a gentle, caring, loving, sweet, fun person.
I adore cats🐾🐾
Everyone should love cats
Not true…I am a nervous person who is always stressed. I am also a cat magnet. I have had many cats over the years from strays to cats with homes come to my yard and literally beg me to take them in! Perhaps they understand me and know that I will never harm them and actually love them all. Both of my sweet old ex street cats died this year after living many years with me. I am beyond devastated.
It sounds like you’ve brought joy and comfort into the lives of many cats, and their love for you is a testament to your kind heart.
Strangely, for RUclips, this is essentially true!!
Loving people.
