My quarters never play the flat. They always jump to middle hitch routes leaving flat WIDE open
Yeah I don’t quarters unless they match down field that is why I play a lot of hard flats

shade under most players won’t dink and dunk for too long
Do you have to manually put them in hard flats or can you shade underneath to turn them to hard flat?
You can shade underneath but I have had issues with getting beat deep so if you can I think it is better to do I manually
why dont i have the option to change the zone coverage to match in the coach adjustments. the zone coverage thing is just not there

When they man up out of zone are their zone stats being used or man stats. Example 89man 90 zone
I believe they work off of the man coverage but I worry about speed the most overall

In match would the dbs need zobe ko abilities or man ko abilities I can't figure out which ones light up
I use Mid Zone Ko works very well!
Can you put a deep third on the trips side instead of a deep half. Cuz it looked like on four verts the 1 was open and could be pass lead to the right because the deep half was playing way inside him
Yeha for sure! Yeah if you feel like he is getting sucked inside then go for it he just wont really ever get over #3
I play quarters in nickel over. Against 3 by 1 I actually prefer cover 3 buzz seam and put the weak side safety in an inside quarter. Alternatively, I like quarters but to put the weak side safety in a deep half.
Hey by putting the weak safety in a inside quarter, does this help with crossing routes?
Hmmmm yeah pretty tough cover for the weak saftey against #3 when playing 3x1 sets

I don't think the match D works nearly as well on old gen.
I seem to get bombed over the top all the time, or the deep cross always out runs the DB across the field. The wr is in full sprint, while the DB is just standing there until the WR runs by him.

No. Outside vorners are reading 2 to 1. Theyre looking to rob flat routes used in slant/curl/flat combos.
I dunno man, I saw too many times where the out route was WIDE OPEN
In any defense gonna have weak spots. so you just gotta know be willing to give something up most time ya opp is gonna get impatient and force something. U gotta think ya opponent isn't gonna wanna throw the out route every play if he does kudos to him.
Mix in cover 2 or cover 3 invert

I have done some testin and I think it is a mix of both but speed is by far the most important

Yeah that’s why I like to put the hard flats out there. For bunch I will user it or man it up with quarter flat

I think you could make an awesome spread formation scheme out of there. that playbook also has like 7 different. PA jail screens in it.. those type of screens are absolutely deadly this year
Bro you should do a Spread playbook scheme. It has the second most options and so many rpo glitch plays . Please think about it. It has to be in the style of some type of college team
What does a cover 2 do? I heard palms was like a cover 2. Are you going to make a video on that? Also what does cover 3 sky do and when do I use cover 2 and cover 3 sky?
Cover 2 isn’t great only cause the middle of the field is essentially open cover 3 is alright but if someone can read a defense they’ll hit route the slot receiver to a seam cover 3 weakness is inside seams cover 2 weakness is deep posts
Palms is cover 4 the play is called cover 4 palms which means the back 4 corners are playing deep quarters cover 2 is only 2 safeties on each side covering their side which is why the deep middle is open in real life the mlb has a deep quarter but in madden no linebacker is fast enough to cover that deep

@@fert9674 and irl there is cover 5 but there isn’t cover 5 in madden. It is essentially cover 3 but the 2 seam players are manned up on the 2 recover (Meg)

Ran match for about all my games since day 1 there’s so many holes in this defense that it’s unreliable and unusable it’s not a good scheme anymore

Assuming we're gonna be using a lot of Mid Zone KO as abilities on corners/safeties? Love these breakdowns tho! Helping me learn the concepts of real football is kinda awesome compared to the single play, meta nano glitch youtubers lol. Teaching us how to fish rather than handing us one!

I tested it out last week, outside quarters respond to deep out zone KO, inside quarter safeties respond with both deep in and deep out zone KO (sometimes, it’s a little inconsistent). I’ve been using deep out zone KO on my safeties, 2 inside stuffs, an edge threat and 1 free AP
I would def recommend mid zone over deep inside zone I have found it much more consistent!
