    What a lovely story of how God has directed your lives! On a side note - and I'm sorry if this sounds snarky - the modern day habit of ending words, phrases and sentences with an upward inflection as if asking a question has become epidemic. It does serve to undermine ones dignity and authority, particularly as a business owner. It leads to others thinking they can
    manipulate you, as if you not know your own mind, so they'll make it up for you. The bold move you guys have made and the faith you are exercising deserves to be recognized even in your physical posture and speech patterns. People have respect for us based on what respect we show ourselves and what respect we exude. Personally, watching my posture and speech patterns are two things I'm constantly working on these days bc of how sloppy I've gotten in the last few years. Gravity and troubles can just wear you down. I keep reminding myself of who we are in Christ, that He invests His authority in everyday people bc He does not see us that way. Daily I square my shoulders, adjust my posture and check my speech -- not trying to be somebody I'm not -- but trying to be the best me that I can be, the one God created in His image, with His help (which admittedly, the longer I live, the more I need d bless your endeavors!

    Well, I missed all the excitement because I've not gotten notifications for your videos. I resubscribed and hopefully from now on... I am waiting to sell a property to get a beautiful 4.5 acre land which was cow pasture. I've been praying the land doesn't sell before all this happens!! Thanks for the breakdown! I'll be living in an apartment just three minutes from the land in a tiny town in mid-Missouri. I can't wait! Your adventure fills me with hope! I'm a single, older woman, but I'll be starting slowly.

    I've followed your RUclips channel from the beginning ...because of the similar interest in plants. Everything you are doing is what, through the years, I dreamed of. But life took me in a different direction, and now the years have come and gone and I find myself in the sunset years of life. I am genuinely happy for you and admiring of your fortitude. I will continue to watch, with great interest, how (the plant part of) life unfolds for you. And, in the process, I can see my dream realized through you. I wish and pray for you the greatest of success and fulfillment. It looks like, as you grow plants, you are more importantly investing in and growing some wonderful children. God alone knows how your work ethic and your stepping out in faith will positively impact them. I wish you and your family all the best! Blessings!!!

    It's encouraging to see that you are willing to slowly expand as the finances allow. You will eliminate much stress by doing it this way.
    Now that I am 60 years old my health insurance is really a blessing to have. I hope that you have planned for that for your family.
    I wish you all good things. I will eagerly wait for each update.

I think you will grow quickly in your nursery business and your RUclips experience. I just hope that down the road and when the serious money starts coming in you will not sell out to the sponsors like so many RUclipsr content providers do.

    That is a nice piece of land and a great price, imo. Your 14 year old granddaughter is quite the worker and good old "pioneer" quality work ethics. You don't see that much anymore in young people and I think it's great. That's a great job on the fence and all of the work you put in is admirable. Thank you for sharing. That was great information. Great video, one question. Why not have a well drilled for your business instead of county water lines?

    • @savvydirtfarmer
      @savvydirtfarmer  Год назад

      When we put our first plants in, we had no electricity, and wouldn't for quite some time. Also, the irrigation meter ran about $1,000, vs $5k+ for a well, still no electricity. Water here is cheap. In the long term, we may eventually need a well. Right now, I can't see a need for it.
