- In this video, we'll demonstrate the Smooth Left Foot Set for Ultrafeed® LS-1 & Leatherwork® Sewing Machines. This specialty presser foot set was designed with your most delicate leatherworking needs in mind. Because the right side of the feed dog doesn't have a raised edge, you can place a magnetic or other sewing guide right next to the inside presser foot. With a sewing guide in place, you can sew within 1/8 inch of the edge of your leather or fabric assembly. This is ideal for sewing accessories where sewing close to an edge is desired, such as wallets, coin purses, clutches or belts.

Will you be developing these feet for the fabricator?
We will be designing a foot and feed dog to do the same in the near future for the Sailrite Fabricator. In the meantime you can purchase SKU: 400212 and #400311 and install them in your Fabricator for stitching that would be, not quite as close to the edge (it would be 0.12 inches, rather than 0.06 inches of the Leatherwork Foot Set). However, if you grind the center foot's right edge and the feed dog's right edge then you could get the same performance. Again.... in the future we will have a set made that will work the same without you having to make modifications to the center foot and feed dog. But that may take us a year or more to produce.
will these feet work on other sewing machines? I have a kIng Max and I would love to buy these very nice leather feet
We have not tested them on other sewing machines. Sorry, we do not know.

Regarding your LSZ1, Premium with Worker B Power pack I would like to know about the needle plate with seam allowance etched in. Thus far they are in half inch intervals could you make one in half CM intervals 5mm/10mm/15mm/20mm?
Sorry, we can't easily make new ones. However, etched in the plate is 13mm, 19mm and 25mm as well as 1/2", 3/4" and 1".
@@SailriteDIY A while back I enquired about Sailrite making a Twin needle portable machine similar to the LS1 and LSZ1. Do you know if they have any designs on making such a machine?
