    Man oh man where do I start... OK this is the best demo I’ve seen on RUclips of this product. It makes me so happy that you didn’t start out shredding with everything dimed out. You put it through its paces quite well.You also played an appropriate riff for each amp/tube combination. Example Vox gets the Beatles, The Marshall gets Hendrix and so on. Though I will say you could’ve pulled back on the gain a bit for the AC/DC riff.
    The sound got oversaturated and kind of lost focus.
    But all else was damn near perfect for what I was needing to hear. I can’t say enough good things about this device. The sound is so open and airy, very natural sounding. The mids can be smooth and buttery but with just enough bite when you dig in. Lots of usable bottom end, without getting flubby.
    There’s also a 3-D quality to the sound that I don’t hear on most low end modelers. So I could use it to play Americana/Roots type music without it sounding phony and unnatural. Ah man I could go on...They should be paying you because you definitely sold a unit today!!! Thanks 🙏🏾 🙏🏾

    I just ordered one. I actually really love a clean DI guitar, or like a JC-120 type of sound plus effects, and I'm curious to see how this will work with my playing. I use a Strat, and some basic pedals like a Keeley comp, a JHS Clover, Boss DD5, and MXR analog chorus. Sometimes I use a drive pedal for some break up or punching up a solo. I really wish Roland would put make a Jazz Chorus DI box w/ headphone jack.

    • @christopherjrager
      @christopherjrager 3 года назад +6

      Update: it arrived. It's sounds great. While it certainly does a great job ballparking the classic amp styles, it has it's own cool vibe. I don't know if I'll ever use the effects loop. Running my pedals into it like a normal old amp works great. Nice to have the options though. I think the headphone jack sounds fine. Not sure what the complaints about the headphone sound were about. I think the type of heaphones you use could be a factor. I have standard inexpensive ath-m30. Totally cool for playing in an apartment etc. Great that you don't need a computer, in my opinion. I guess this is like a Sansamp on roids. A+

    Looks like you're running the effects loop. I've heard that the volume past 12 o'clock can overdrive most low current pedals that might be in the loop (delays, reverbs, etc.), but it doesnt sound like you're having that problem here. Did you run into any issues with the effects loop?

      @AdrianJames28 4 года назад +2

      Feels pretty great. I've normally used it with headphones, and it always feels a bit too overcompressed. But, the one time I've plugged it into a monitor and jammed at band volume, it felt great, the guitar responded to it at volume as it would to an amp. Although it is still missing a certain something that only tubes can bring.
