The league does not favor the LB position like most people do. Wallace is still too raw. There's 3 or 4 guys ready to play: Colson, Wilson, Cooper, Gray. Some late guys with upside are Barrett, Magee, Speights, Wallace.
Nobody is going to draft him because of what he will be year 1. Yes, he’s raw but he’s young, big, very long and an excellent athlete for the LB position. They are going to draft him based off what he could be by year 2 or 3. In the right environment, with good coaching he could absolutely be just as good, or better, than Okereke. There’s not a lot of Linebackers coming out with his combination of size, length, athleticism and power. There’s a reason the Lions took Campbell in the 1st round. and he didn’t even start his rookie year. For most linebackers it takes 2-3 years of development before they become quality starters or better. Wallace has the traits and skill set necessary to one day become a 3 down LB who can do everything. If he gets drafted to a team with a good Linebackers coach and experienced vet as a mentor then he could be a top 10-12 LB in the league. I have seen much lesser and smaller athletes than him become impact starters.
He has *GREAT BLITZ POTENTIAL* . He does get swallowed up but shows some shedding potential. He's a better gap shooter than cooper and wilson to me. But what makes wilson and cooper better is coverage+ breaking down ball carriers. He looks like the type of LB the 49ers, ravens, cowboys always find later that are studs.
Welcome to the Panthers ! Looks good 👍

He’s not raw he’s been coached and trained for this his entire life
He has Amazing upside
He's A CAROLINA PANTHER!!!!
I can’t see Wilson playing without acls and shoulders.
no pun??? but okereke seems like a very generous comp. I do not think he makes as much impact on a per play basis
