He Is my HERO!!! I worked as a Paramedic on the City of Portland Maine Medical Crisis Unit. I LOVED seeing him play at Schaefer Stadium
Foxboro Massachusetts. . Steve Grogan taught me about Resiliency, Mental Toughness, and Determination!!!! I've been a Patriots fan since 1970!!!
52 Years!!! I am an Old-School Fan!!!! Yes!!! Tom Brady is the Greatest Patriots Quarterback ever . But Steve Grogan in my opinion was the toughest
Quarterback I have ever seen!!! Players back in the early years were tougher and more physical Players!!!😍

I had the privledge to watch Steve Grogan! Great quarterback! The 76 Patriots team is my favorite Patriots team. Grogan had injuries and coaching changes that people forget. He helped changed the Patriots in the 70s into winners. He should be in the NFL Hall of Fame!

His record for rushing touchdowns by a QB lasted for years. His chemistry with Stanley Morgan was amazing. People think the Pats were terrible until the Brady years but that's not true. The 60's Pats only had a few losing seasons and the Grogan Pats were a playoff team. If not for that awful roughing the passer call on Sugar Bear Hamilton against the Raiders in 76 that team would have won the Super Bowl that year! Btw my dad was good friends with Larry Eisenhauer who was a standout for the Pats in the 60's.

His nickname was Grogs, he played at Kansas and was a running QB in the beginning.

I love the guy, but early in his career, no QB made more bad decisions than he did. And Neutralized what should have been some great Patriots teams.

I just read this. He drove my old man nuts. "They got rid of Plunkett for this stiff!" True fan man to remember his growing pains.
