Oh my goodness!!! My wife watched your video, we had a day of practise where she could play around. At league tonight she was bowling 150 games, where she wouldn't even break 100! She even legit beat me in game 1. Thank you so much!!!
Hi, I'm 68 and back to bowling after 20+ years. I'm having trouble with my release to the point that I twisted my middle finger and had to stop bowling for 3 weeks. I average a 204 until I hurt my wrist and had to use a wrist support. Your video has enlightened me as I could not find a video explaining the use of a support. I am returning tomorrow night in league for my team and hopefully am able to bowl and second apply your technic. Thank you and wish you success on your tournaments
I used to play with wrist support then I decided to do free hand without the support in 2019. Then in early 2022, I got injured and was out for a few months. Back to wrist support once again though I did consider wearing the wrist band like Master or Turbo but still, since I got injured in 2022, it's a risk to get injured once again.
Love this. I need longer video for this. I have the cupped position but still struggling to be consistently behind the ball. I didn’t ‘stay longer’. Part of it, my release isn’t as close to ankle as I wanted to yet if I am playing straight down and in. If I am further left, I am able to lay the ball closer to ankle no problem. I also hope to see an in depth comparison of the oil ring. I think it’s the best indication if I am doing ‘the behind the ball’ right. Maybe you can have 3 different balls for example to compare them side by side.
I have used a wrist support for 30 plus years. No injury or pain, just started using one. Now I am so used to it, it is hard to bowl without one. Sometimes I actually feel guilty using one and have been trying "wean" myself off of it.
i have a Storm C4 and it dont come wth instructions, so learning that the cupped wrist position helps with forward roll is new to me. Have you done an entire video with instructions for different positioning on the brace ?
Not sure if you see this but I personally would like to see the ball leaving your hand and see how it rolls and react down the lane or a side view. I like the overhead video you show sometimes.
Hi valerie! Love all your content. I wear a brace usually, and i find it hard to get my track up nearer to the thumb, any tips or drills i can work on?
Nice video ! I have trouble avoiding pulling over to the left ( right-hand bowler ) I tried to keep my hand under the ball , sometimes I over turn my hand over at the release. How do I prevent turning my hand over at the release ? Thank you .
I did that last week at league, my grip flew down 3/4 of the way down on the lane. 😂So my track is almost all the time closer to fingers than thumb. So about an inch from middle finger edge and 2" from thumb. Means higher tilt? I was about 20° sometimes i can get them both about 3"from finger and thumb. Not all the time.
I have that same brace, but don't use it any more. I was quite inconsistent when I first started bowling (8 moths ago), so I got the brace and started using it in July. It help[ed with consistency, but I stopped using it from the middle of September after I discovered that my ball speed and rev rate are higher without the brace. Perhaps I was using it wrong?
I said it’s almost like cheating. These are tools. When used properly, they can create a more consistent release. You not having a strong enough wrist and using a wrist brace to help is my point.
Well, everyone has the option to use a wrist brace, just like using a thumb or not. You should see the senior leagues, lots of wrist braces. I don’t mind if my competition uses a wrist brace. My wife and I have one by Storm but we don’t use them. We both use a regular carpel tunnel brace that keeps our wrist firm but doesn’t add rpms. Yes, we’re seniors. 😂😂

Like the split screen it shows wrist movement nicely
Thanks for the slow motion at the release...very helpful.

When I first started bowling (3yrs ago) I had to use a brace, then I switched to KT tape, now I just do some warm ups and I'm good to go 😊
Your hand was so strong without the brace you literally ripped the grip out of the finger hole! 🤪😂

this is gonna help because sometimes i seem to have a good entry angle into the pins but get kind of a glancing blow and lousy pin action. thnx.

Valerie, use it all the time. Your reaction is much better with less work. Hope to see you in championship match.

Thank you for your tips
Do you have to have your ball redrilled for the wrist brace?
Great Video!!

Can you do a video with pro release wrist brace...?.. that's what i use....and I haven't seen a lot of them around.. it's name is moro pro release...
The wrist brace is almost like cheating if it’s used correctly. Thanks for the new video on it doll!
How is it cheating? Older peoples wrists get weak. Mine is weak, and I need the brace.

👍👍👍👍👍👍
👍
If it makes you srike more then everybody should use one, otherwise is not fair for the one that don' t use one its kind of cheating

Fairness is a 3rd grade concept. Go buy one and use it.
You could say the same for 2 handed bowling.
Should be ban just like PBA if you’re a pro bowler you don’t need this”
