Your basement is crazy! I would never leave. What you do with all of those screens and images is cool. I wish I was computer smart. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Keep up the great work
Anytime brother . Message me on instagram Gameroomtheater. Light bill literally a few bucks more a month alomost everything is LED. This question comes up a lot of times. You gave me an idea to talk about it in the next video!
where do you get the high quality gifs/images/videos you use. Specifically, the futuristic ones I see in your videos. Any recommended sites to download from? Thanks. Awesome setup, you have been inspirational on my home setup
Any ideas on how to automate the box scores? I love that idea and want to do it but I don't want to browse to the game every time I want it up. Is there a way to automate the box score of my favorite team to show every time a game starts
Yes but would have to write some code via an API to do some commands and do that, for select teams. A bit more complex but someone with more time should be able to do it easily 🙂
@@gameroomtheater I'm curious if you ever got around to this. I have an extra tv, and just want to be able to keep track of scores and news, mostly ESPN based. I tried to make the magicmirror program work on a raspberry pi, but quite unsuccessfully
Great job! What are the dimensions of that room, excluding the space behind the screen? I just bought a new house without a theatre (my current one already has one) and I have a space in mind that looks pretty identical to yours. I wasn’t sure I could pull it off, but your theatre is giving me hope! Could you tell me a) the depth of the room from the screen to the back wall; b) the width of the room; c) the height of your ceiling? Thanks! Your videos are very inspiring!
Thx Jeff good luck on the setup and build. Message me on my Instagram if you need some advise as well in the future. The room is 13x20, but really 12.5 x 30 as the screens are thick with a large non low profile mount
TorontoR Thanks! Will do! My room is 11.5x33 so it should be doable, I hope. Do you know your ceiling height? In the new house it will be 7’6” which is a lot lower than the 10 ft I have in my current home theatre. Poses a bit of a dilemma for raising the back row.
Power consumption must be crazy? Is the bill to run this significantly or marginally different than before you had the set up?? This is a dream set up!
Thx. This question comes up a lot but everything is only when people are over which is perhaps once a week for a few hours, or if my kids want to hangout. Everything is LED and honestly don't really feel a few bucks more for about 3 or so hours a week of usage which is typically after hours on a lower rate anyway. I'd say the difference to my bill is a couple of bucks more a month.
Thx! They are digital signage screens. You can use tv but these look much nicer like a picture frame as the screen has no bezel and also not as glossy.
Thx really they are too expensive when new but look on Facebook marketplace or Craigslist, restaurants and malls are constantly upgrading and selling old
Do it man, can start on a smaller scale with stuff you may already have! Let me know if you have any questions, always happy to help a fellow enthusiast! 👍🏾😁
Hi, this is just awesome. And I was just wondering how this is playing for 2.35:1? Because usually, NBA playing 16:9. You changed the ratio by the projector or directly coming from a streaming device.
I do have a third in storage just can't work in the room. There are surround speakers in the walls that would be blocked. Plus the PC I have would need an upgraded video card to out put to three
Love the basement! Looks huge! Crazy what you did with the additional screens in the theater, showing the crowd in the game!
It is a great way to create a more immersive experience. The technology is always advancing and becoming less expensive.

Thx man! Subbed in case you share some videos 👍🏾😁
Can you show us how exactly you upload pictures in these tv with which app.. and how you control the whole theater with remote
I’ve been waiting too
Light bill has to be crazy lol!! Your setup is amazing man. I'd need help to set this up. Also I like how you have the theater in its own room.

@@gameroomtheater You sir are a good man lol. I appreciate that.
Great video, where do you find those animated video or logo's that are shown on those screens?
Yea I second that!? Couldn't we just put the file on a usb?
Your basement is BOSS! Can you do a tutorial on how you setup Pictureflect? Sub'd btw. Keep up the great work!
Never thought about adding screens for ambiance, great idea, and as usual very informative video!
Screens are killer!!!! It’s on my list to do but it’ll be later!!!!! Congrats on your room!
Thanks man can get it going let me know if I can help 🙂
I was trying to find a way to do something like this .. great set up
Would love to see a floorplan of your basement with measurements! :)
Thanks I don't think I have a copy 😬
Your Instagram live brought me here!😝👏🏻

Great video and setup. What is the model and size of the side screens in the theater room?
High they are older screens in the theater room, both 46". The ones outside see 32 inch Samsung's . Will grab the models later
@@gameroomtheater which models Samsung?
I just want to do the display with the box scores, maybe the betting odds like a sports book. I'm computer illiterate
This is sick bro! Thx for sharing. Subbed
I had one question though. Where did you get these screens? Are they tvs?
Can use tvs but this is digital signage...don't recommend new since they are expensive and usually not for consumers but can find for cheap used
Thanks
Is there an app available on IOS that I could use to push the images to the PC for the screens?
I'm sure there is but I don't have anything apple...besides my kids who have iPhones 😜
I wish I had that.
How do you get pictureflect to startup when windows starts?
ASA! Google how to out an application in startup on windows! You will get the steps ..other way is in regedit. Try the easy route first.
@@gameroomtheater I got it... Thanks

@@jeffbabies7428 that is exactly the height with mine. Dine with a 12 inch riser in the back, just gotta warn any buddies who are 6 5 or taller 😜

Thanks for the video! Are the screens you use PC monitors, or TV's? And can either be used?
No problem. Can use either, but mine are digital signage screens as they aren't as reflective as tvs and have small bezels with no logos on the edge.
Great video thanks for sharing, screens add so much to the experience!
How long did it take you to create that game room I would love to have that
Been adding and swapping stuff for a few years so I'd say about 3 years with different things didn't do all at once.
@@gameroomtheater idk how big your house is but I kinda want a game room like yours lol
This really is quite amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Can I ask what do you use for screens on your wall to make those nice pictures? Great job by the way

@@gameroomtheater any recommendations on websites to get those signage screens? Thanks again for the quick reply

@@gameroomtheater oh really I'll keep an eye out for them..
How do you get the video across the screens on the side what settings do you use thanks in advance
Are you using Telemetry Digital Signage, and is so, which plan are you using to run at least 4 TV's?
What kind of Screens or Signs are those on the sides? And where did u get them? Are they just TVs?
This man cave is raw asl I need to get my money up to create my own👍

You have a vivid Imagination
For the digital screens, could I just use a hdmi cable to connect my computer with the monitors?
Yes
Where do you get your gifs?
What are you using to add the ambient lighting behind the screens?
Philips hue makes light strips, they make one called a Hue Gradient ruclips.net/video/t_2Id8lIStQ/видео.html
What projector is that?
Equipment list in the description of the video. Optoma UHD65
Please come do my home like this
Awesome! Looks great!
Thank you!
What does #Mamb mean?
Sometimes too much unbridled automation is not a good thing lol. The auto scaling cut off part of the hashtag is all.
😮wow
Wow 👌
Love it mate! such an awesome space! #dream
