Hey Wally, interesting dice, that black die looked like it pulled to the 3 side of the dice. Blackmoor is definitely one of my favorite campaign settings. I forgot about Dan going to Europe and the American company. I know war gaming was an influence, they used d12. Kevin at D&D Homebrew has 2d12 as his logo, it's tribute to the old days (The Great Old Ones). Thanks Wally you have a wonderful day!
Yeah, this was an interesting and fun video for me. I was really glad to have found Dave Arneson's actual quotes because I get really nervous trying to be accurate when it comes to historical events. I didn't start playing until 1984, so I missed quite a bit up to then, lol. Cheers Matt!
Thank you, my friend. Yep. I really like the dyadics... and, this video led me to buy a vintage 1970s die to add to my collection. Found one on ebay for a good price (the red one I colored with a crayon in the video). Cheers!
I had no idea 😲 I did crayon in my first set, though. Why I used my orange crayon, instead of purple or bronze, what was i thinking 🤦♀️ FYI: The dice were neon green.
Thanks Wally.

Good history lesson Wally
Thank you Rivers, this was a fun video to make. Cheers!
Love the history! I started with AD&D but we were using modern d20s by that point!
Yep, same when I started, so a lot of this was new to me as well. Cheers!
Very interesting. Subscribed.
Thank you. Welcome aboard!
Cool information. I don't remember having those.
If you started when I did, we didn't have them. I started in 84, about 5 years later, I believe. And of course, no game stores back then.
I think 78-79 but am old and don’t have the memory I used to lol
interesting dice, always fun to see how things come about b/c of necessity/convenience
Thanks for the info, and the new dice looks fun

that's some old die for sure! Nice catch@@WallyDM
Ohhh
Clickty clackity math rocks, I did not know about....
As always, Thank Wally, best wishes.
Haha, yep. It's true! 😉 lol. Thank you so much for watching. Cheers!

Crayons + Dice are not as fun as I remember, lol. Filling these in for the video was a bit frustrating and time consuming, for sure.
@@WallyDM Those end/corner bits, argh.
More dice rolling at once = more neuron activation.
Absolutely. Clickity-clack is such a wonderful sound. Cheers!
